The reality show known as All My Hoodrats aka As the Hood Turns officially titled Love & Hip Hop Atlanta aired it’s 5th episode of the 6th season last night (May 19, 2013).

The ‘ratchetness’ continues this week.

Erica goes through Scrappy’s phone and she doesn’t like what she finds. Newbies DJ Traci Steel and her baby daddy Drew are still bumping heads over his decision to see other women (even though they aren’t in a relationship). Whasserface is still complaining about her private parts.

Mimi introduces her new gay boyfriend. Newbie Che Mack gets “reintroduced” during a meeting in the studio with Stevie J and an altercation in the club with Joseline. Karlie Redd returns for yet another cameo appearance where she acts out for screen time by accusing Benzino of telling her he got him a piece of Joseline’s ~~man meat~~ taco.

Ludacris Hosts Private Atlanta Screening of Fast & Furious 6… [PHOTOS]

Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges and his DTP family played host to a star studded VIP screening screening of Fast & Furious 6 in Atlanta last Thursday (May 16, 2013).

Atlanta’s hometown hero stars in Universal Pictures’ upcoming release all of his celebrity friends and family members joined him at Cinebistro at Town Brookhaven.

Attendees included: LeToya Luckett, Young Jeezy, Antonia “Toya” Wright, Chaka Zulu (DTP), Sheneka Adams and her promoter boyfriend Jakob York, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Monica showed off her growing baby bump alongside her hubby Shannon Brown and more.

Divorce Stunts & Shows: Kordell Stewart Locks RHOA Porsha Stewart Out… Again!

Kordell Stewart and his estranged wife Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are back at it again.

It’s only been a little over a month since Porsha claimed in divorce documents that her soon to be ex, whom she happens to still share a residence, frequently locks her out of their home when she returns from working.

Back in April, Porsha said Kordell locked her out of their home AND brought another woman into the home and he responded that he only locked the home for security purposes, the “woman” was actually a nanny for his young son and complained that Porsha came into the home at all hours of the night drunk and reeking of liquor.

Now it seems Kordell is finally done with sharing his home with his ex and has finally just CHANGED THE LOCKS!!

Mugshot Mania: Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb & Husband Gregory Lunceford

It’s been brought to my attention that Quad Webb-Lunceford of Married to Medicine has a mugshot out in the universe from an incident that occurred back in 2011.

Quad spoke candidly about the situation during the first episode, where she stated that she was the aggressor in a domestic altercation between she and her husband where she threw a bowl at him and he called the police.

As standard procedure, both parties in a case such as this are locked up and being that they are still married and willing to air their business on a reality show, I’m assuming neither pressed charges on the other.

WTF?! Reality Show Alert: Strip Club Queens of Atlanta… [PHOTOS + VIDEOS]

I dunno how y’all let this one slip under my nose, but there’s yet another reality show filming in Atlanta and this one features nothing but strippers (as if you didn’t know it was coming sooner or later).

Shawty Lo and All his babies mamas couldn’t make it to air but apparently the strippers know how to do it better than rappers. And if you thought Mona Scott had ‘ratchet’ on lock with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta…. well, just imagine all of the same women working together (naked) under one strip club roof.

It get’s worse… the show, entitled “Strip Club Queens of Atlanta” is a highly produced first in a developing franchise of gentlemen’s club dancers who unveil the behind-the-scenes operations the strip club business.

The reality show takes viewers into the dressing rooms and into their homes and shows exactly how they’re living…. LARGE. Very large.

Stripping is a big cash based business and one can only wonder how much can be exposed before Uncle Sam comes knocking, but that’s just the level headed, reasonable me thinking…. the ‘ratchet’ in me is all in for the drama!

President Obama’s 2013 Morehouse College Commencement Speech…. [FULL VIDEO + TEXT]

It’s official. President Barack Obama is now a ‘Morehouse man’!

The POTUS addressed Morehouse College’s commencement ceremony and was and was also bestowed an honorary degree to the historic college during the midst of a torrential thunderstorm earlier this morning in Atlanta (May 19, 2013).

Family members shielded themselves with plastic and there were a lot a drenched graduates but Obama got big laughs during his speech.

In recognizing the obvious, Obama said he would join the graduates in the rain if he could, but jokingly said that first lady Michelle Obama would not.

Politics was largely absent during the president’s address, although he made reference to his controversial national health care law while urging graduates who will be going on to medical school to serve the needy.

He also urged graduates to think of more than their careers and advised them to be good role models and inspire others, particularly members of the African-American community who need a helping hand.

“Members of the class of 2013, you are the heirs to a great legacy,” he said. “You have within you the same courage; the same strength; the same resolve as the men who came before you.

President Obama’s commencement speech at Morehouse marked the first time a sitting president has delivered a commencement address in Georgia since 1938, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt spoke at the University of Georgia.

Kandi marked her 37th birthday on Friday (May 17th), however she saved her celebrating for a hot Saturday night in Atlanta joined by her Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mate Porsha Stewart, Rasheeda (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta), Toya Wright, Chanita Foster and a slew friends and family members.

Wendy Williams Hits Atlanta For ‘Ask Wendy’ Book Signing… [PHOTOS]

Talk show host/author Wendy Williams hit Atlanta on Friday to promote her latest book venture (May 17, 2013).

Williams hit up Barnes & Noble book store to sign copies of “Ask Wendy: Straight Up Advice for All the Drama In Your Life” where she takes the blunt, ‘in your face’ advice she’s known for on her show to print.

Ask Wendy” has become more than just a fan-favorite TV segment; it’s her calling card. Wendy has helped her viewers cope with everything from backstabbing girlfriends and deadbeat boyfriends to crazy mothers-in-law and jealous coworkers.

Fans trust Wendy, even when her advice is tough to hear. She’s earned her reputation as ‘the friend in your head’.

Kandi Factory Producer Knocks Up Former Destiny’s Child… (PHOTOS)

Latavia Roberson. one of the orignal members of Destiny’s Child, proudly showed off her expanding baby bump as she posed on the red carpet of The Great Gatsby movie premiere.

Latavia announced in a press release issued in April that she is pregnant by a “well known” Atlanta producer and has a very iconic September due date.

While Roberson’s “baby daddy” has been kept under wraps thus far. It was recently brought to my attention that its none other than one of the Kandi Factory homies.
