Lauryn grew up in the Southern United States and in high school had a confrontation with race in America that changed her life and directed her future. She was committed to racial equality through educational transformation and began individual work to become anti-racist. In 2007, as a part of Teach for America, Lauryn began facilitating sessions for other teachers on Diversity and Achievement, Instruction as well as Classroom Culture, that would continue for the duration of her career.

For thirteen years, Lauryn worked for KIPP Chicago, the highest performing school district in Chicago and a national network of charter schools focused on college completion. During her time there, she served as the School Leader of KIPP Ascend Middle School in North Lawndale and, before that, as the Assistant Principal and an ELA teacher.

Lauryn is also an inspiring public speaker who has been asked to speak at the National Charter School Conference in Minneapolis, as a keynote speaker for Teach for America’s Induction Ceremony, as well as at North Park University, Columbia College and Indiana University-Purdue on Leadership, Consciousness, and Education. Lauryn has a Masters in Curriculum Planning and Design from National Louis University, a National Board Certification in Literacy, and completed the KIPP School Leadership Training Institute at New York University.

In 2009, Lauryn was awarded Teacher of the Year for Chicago Charter Schools and in 2011 was a finalist for the Teach for America Distinguished Leader Award. Last June, she was certified as a 15 Commitments Conscious Leadership Coach and left her16-year education career to work as a leader; speaker, consultant, and coach who partners with individuals and organizations to support the emergence of more conscious cultures.

Corey Haynes is a thought leader, passionate about people, and a lover of tech. He is the new District Manager at SHI - the leading minority and women-owned tech VAR partner in North America - where he is focused on total tech solutions, business optimization, client strategy, and more.

Heading into the match, qualification for the 94 World Cup was not yet confirmed for either side, however Colombia's successful campaign so far meant they were only required to avoid defeat. But they were facing an Argentina side which had recently won a second of consecutive Copa América titles and hadn’t recorded a loss on home soil in six years.

Shubham finally got out on 57 as Punjab restricted them to 149/9.

Punjab’s chase was smooth sailing even though skipper KL Rahul got out on 28. ‘Universe Boss’ Gayle partnered Mandeep Singh as both scored half centuries and Punjab won by 8 wickets, in the penultimate over.

This week our heroes discuss the "Audiobook" Friday the 13th: Mother's Day by Eric Morse, narrated by the 80's Slasher Librarian. We find a really mediocre young adult book, a strange author, and a whole big mess of confusion surrounding the writing of the book, and who actually did so.

The guys discover that some things are not meant for kids, or even teens. And sometimes, maybe we should just let sleeping masks stay buried. Our Audience gets introduced to the 80's Slasher Librarian, a man who has kindly made it his task to suffer through the trash licensed horror series books of the past, and share discontinued content to the rest of the world's unsuspecting souls.

The brothers invite a guest Moose along for this week's ride. Rance makes fun of and challenges yet another "author" to a fist fight, Bob is generally amused at how much like an actual Friday the 13th book this is, and Moose seems to be really bored with the guys not being able to keep their shit together long enough to make a full episode work.

P.S. How many teens are we gonna let die before we just bulldoze Camp Crystal Lake right into the water?

Another Nicholls horse who will have all eyes on him is Cyrname, who looks set for his seasonal reappearance on Saturday. Something about his return has got G-Rod very interested in this race.

The team ended on their horses to watch out for over the week with the Charlie Hall the feature weekend race at Wetherby plus action from Ascot and Down Royal.

Michael Bielawa was back on to talk about some more famous CT hauntings, including the New England vampires. Apparently they are different from the one portrayed in movies. (23:50)

Ashley was given a very simple task for this weekend, watch a scary movie. She spent maybe 15 seconds trying to find it, and then gave up. Chaz and AJ, the Tribe, and even the boss are very upset with her. (41:35)
