The Discord 3 installer on OS X has been updated to 1.1.1a to fix a problem some users were experiencing installing the 64-bit AudioUnit. The plug-ins are unchanged; only the installer itself is updated.

Replicant OS X Updated to 1.6.2

This is a maintenance release for Replicant on the OS X side of things. The 1.6.2 installer fixes several bugs with the AudioUnit, chiefly that presets were occasionally going missing when updating or installing. We have also returned the Mono and Mono->Stereo versions of the plug-in to the package. This is a recommended update for all AudioUnits users, and is now available in the store for immediate download.

Bigseq2 Updated to v1.1.0.

Audio Damage ADverb has been updated to 1.1.0 on all platforms. It is now 32/64-bit VST on Windows and 32/64-bit VST and AU on OS X Intel. (It is no longer available for PPC-based Macs.) This should be a seamless update. If you are using Logic 64-bit, you will need to rescan the plug-in; you may need to delete the AudioUnits cache as well to make the update "take."

OS X Replicant installer updated to 1.6.1a

We have updated the installer for Replicant on the OS X side to deal with an incompatibility with OS X 10.7. The plug-ins themselves are unchanged, as is the Windows version. This is only for new installations of Replicant 1.5 in OS X Lion.

OS X Lion Compatibility...

We have done an initial test with all of our products in OS X Lion. As best as we are able to determine, all the VSTs (both 32- and 64-bit) work fine in all VST hosts. Regarding AudioUnits, our entire product line validates and works in Digital Performer 7. In Logic Pro (32-bit), we were unable to get Ricochet and BigSeq (the original version 1, not the current BigSeq2) to validate. We are working to determine the cause of this issue, and hope to have a fix soon. All the 64-bit AudioUnits work fine in Logic Pro 64-bit.

Dubstation Updated To v1.5.2

Good news! We have finally conquered the compatibility problems that were keeping us from porting all our older products to 64 bit versions! The first of the old group to be ported is Dubstation, which is now at 1.5.2 for all versions. The installers now do VST 32- and 64-bit on the Windows side and VST and AU 32- and 64-bit on the OS X side. We have also come up with a new installer builder on OS X that should obviate the need for the separate authorizer applet. These should install graciously on all versions, and should pick up existing projects' automation and saved presets without any issues. If you experience any trouble, don't hesitate to drop us a line so we can get it sorted out. This is a new framework, and while we have tested it thoroughly, it is possible that there are hidden problems we haven't yet discovered.

Eos OS X updated to 1.4.2

The OS X version of Eos has been updated to 1.4.2 to correct a small bug introduced in version 1.4.1 where presets weren't showing up for AudioUnit versions. If you use the VST exclusively, or are on Windows, there is no need for this update.

Panstation updated to 1.0.1 (All Platforms)

We have updated Panstation to version 1.0.1 on all platforms. Fixes in this version: • A problem that was preventing authorization on some 64-bit systems on both Windows and Mac has been fixed. • "Pan CC" mode now only responds to correct MIDI controller. Previously it had responded to any controller.

We have made the version 1.1.0 installer available to existing Discord3 customers. This update includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of both the VST and AU of Discord3. If you do not use a 64-bit host, there is no reason to do this update at this time.

Eos OS X updated to 1.4.0

Eos 1.4.0 for OS X is now available for download to existing owners. This version contains both 32- and 64-bit AudioUnits and VSTs. If you haven't yet updated to v1.1.0, there are some fairly drastic changes in the way presets are dealt with. The result will be that existing projects will load to the default ("This Budd's For You") preset, and ignore automation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For customers that have already installed 1.1.0, this 1.4.0 installer should not exhibit the same issue. However, you may have to re-scan in your 64-bit hosts to get the native 64-bit version recognized, via the usual methods. The Windows version is unchanged.

Eos Updated To 1.1.0

We have updated Eos, our algorithmic reverb, to 1.1.0. Changes in this version: • Windows 64-bit VST version added to Windows installer. • New user interface on both Windows and Mac. • Completely rebuilt AudioUnit. Many bugs with the AU have been fixed. • PPC Mac support deprecated. Eos on OS X is now Intel only. This update is free for all users. The Windows version will replace the current version with no problems whatsoever. OS X users, however, have to take note of these important points: • You must delete the 1.0.2 versions of the VST and AU before you install these versions. Instructions for doing so are in the installer. If you do not delete the VST and AU before doing this update, the new versions WILL NOT WORK. • If you are using the AU, your projects won't break, but this new version will reset whatever settings you have in the project to the default patch. Plan accordingly. The VST is not affected by this. If you own an Eos license, it is now in your account for download.
