It’s not every day that you see two of the most brilliant cars in the modern era being compared for their luxury or speed. However, today we decided to give you guys something different. For a long time there has been debates between car lovers to either go with speed or luxury .We are presenting The Corvette C7 and The Audi R8. Only one car can survive and lets who it is.

Over the years Corvette have produced expensive yet outstanding cars. Recently, the company launched its latest creation The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the C7 generation for the hallowed `Vette. In its standard format, it includes an all-new 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 engine that wallops pavement with 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The C7 serves the purpose performed with beauty and proportion. Speed and acceleration are the two main things that every sports car fan wants and the Corvette hasn’t failed the fans not only a power house engine but also a stream line exterior to reduce the resistance of any kind. The company believes in constant improvement and that’s exactly what they have done with the dream car as now the suspension system has been enhanced by using a hollow arm of lower size that can store nine pounds per vehicle and a new aluminum rare to link that holds 2.4 pounds over the previous steel link. It will travel up to speeds of 60 km/h from a rest position with in the 4 seconds time limit. Chevrolet also boasts the new Corvette will achieve 26 MPG on the highway. Almost all the interior features with in the dream are focus to have better relations with the driver. The steering wheel is slightly smaller but now there are more supportive seats in maneuvering, and the availability of a high definition touch screen. All polished with beautiful and exotic materials.

The Audi R8 has a 4.2-liter V-8, 430-horsepower allowing the car to accelerate to 60 mph from a rest a position with 4.3 seconds. Of course for those lovers who an increased fire power they can always go for the v-10 ,525 horsepower in which the car can get to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and a further enhancement of the engine is the V-10 plus , which trust me is lightning fast. From a rest position, a driver can accelerate to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. So it’s fair to say with a little drop of cash it’s the best of both worlds. The Audi 2014 R8 includes a full LED headlight system with a High/Low beam and daytime running lights. Audi decided to go with the all new S-Tronic twin-clutch unit and has a stainless-gated clack of the 7 speed manual for maximum driver involvement; it’s still an amazing setup and definitely one of the best dual-clutch units on the market. The luxury car weighs about 3,440 pounds. The 2014 Audi R8 scores a 13 mpg in the city and a 21 mpg on the highway. The luxury has just a magnificent interior as the exterior. The seats and space in the cabin will reassure you to love the time you spend in the car. It has a pretty good sound system with 7 speakers (140 watts stereo output) including a CD player support, satellite radio and a navigation system which helps you locate the places where you want to go. For safety precautions it has dual-stage airbags, knee airbags, head and thorax airbags, stability control and rear view camera.

There you have it folks, a competition between race and elegance. We have given you the specifications it’s up to you to decide which would be the one you’d be going home with.

Audi is getting popular day by day with it’s sales already rising in the US and dominating the Indian market the automobile’s future is looking bright as we know it. The brand is selling at least 1 car in every 22 seconds as the statistics are being shown which is enough to tell about how viral the luxury cars produced by this motor giants are becoming.

A month ago, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi AG Rupert Stadler presented an explicit presentation on the state of the German luxury car brand. As Audi utilizes new technologies and ideas, upcoming production models could be shaped with radical concepts. He spoke very highly about the success of Audi as well as affiliates brands like Lamborghini and of course highlighting different products by Audi for eg the Audi A3 and Audi A3 – E Tron. Audi’s Stadler also spoke in depth about research into e-gas, e-diesel and e-ethanol. Derived largely from carbon dioxide, the potential with this fuel source category is a renewable product that can reduce dependency on the Earth’s reserves or farmland. The company is intending to sell 2 million cars by the year 2020; manufacturing capacity was a dominating topic in the final one-third of Rupert Stadler’s speech. The chairman of Audi AG has plans to commit 11 billion euros (14.4 million United States dollars) into enhancements to production facilities around the world. You all must be aware by now the plans that Audi have for its new plant in Mexico, so auto plant in Mexico will be Audi’s first manufacturing facility outside of Europe used to exclusively produce vehicles for the global vehicle marketplace. With the motive of improved fuel economy, increased production capacity and the reality we are bordering on autonomous driving is part of Audi’s future. There is just no stopping the automobile giants it’s as if with a blink of an eye there is a revolutionized product created by Audi every month or so.

The German automaker has also joined up with Columbia University researchers to make predictions about city life in 2050, when 7 billion people will be urban dwellers. The project is called the Extreme Cities Project of the Audi Urban Future Initiative, and the scenarios envision cities as places where high population density forces a greater sense of collaboration and innovation, so long as turf wars don’t get in the way. Like I said in the beginning Audi is in the driver seat for the finishing line in the race of becoming the top luxury cars producer and hopefully if the stats keep backing this statement, in a matter of time it will.

We have two small SUV vehicles here, and two incredibly popular ones. In a small time in the United States, the BMW X1 has become one of the bestselling BMW vehicles in America, only trailing the BMW 3 series and the BMW 5 series. With a vehicle lineup of over 10 vehicles that is quite an impressive feat. Not to mention, soon we will be seeing the all new BMW 4 series as well the new BMW 2 series which will reportedly take on the Mercedes CLA. The Audi Q3 has come on hand to take on the BMW X1, the same way the Audi Q5 came out to face the might BMW X3. First, let’s start by looking at power.

When it comes to power, the Audi Q3 is powered by Audi’s trademark 2.0T motor which is good for 210HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. Whereas the BMW X1 is also powered by a 2.0L turbo which is good for 240HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. The horsepower advantage goes to the BMW however, it should be noted that the Audi Q3 is lighter, so it should be just as fast. In higher performance trims, the BMW X1 is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged inline 6 that puts out 300HP and 300lb-ft of torque. This is the highest performing X1 as no “M” version has been announced yet. The Audi Q3 has a high performance inline 5 version, which is good for 310HP and 290 lb-ft of torque.

The Audi Q3 is powered by a 6 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, whereas the BMW X1 is powered by an impressive 8 speed automatic in 2.0T versions and a 6speed automatic transmission in the 3.0L turbocharged model. The RSQ3 uses a dual clutch 7 speed S-Tronic transmissions. In the interior, the Audi winds hands down. The big issue overall with the BMW X1 is that the interior is based on the BMW 1 series, or looks seriously similar. The problem with this is the BMW 1 series is over 5 years old now and the dated interior is showing. The all new Audi Q3 features the new redesigned Audi interior with a flip up LCD navigation and large visible gauges. From the exterior perspective both vehicles have good styling, however the headlights of the BMW X1 stand out in a bad way. They are too large for the front of the car, a bad styling element that is similar to its BMW X1 sibling. Overall, if you are looking for style and tech Audi is the way to go, and if you are looking for sporty driving go with the BMW, these are both two new strong entries, into the luxury SUV market.

Audi’s new US commercial featuring the slogan “truth in engineering” has been really impressive. It’s a 60 second commercial that shows the history of the brand for the past 100 years. The commercials also discuss Audi storied history in race car driving which includes that legendary Audi Quattro as well as the victories that Audi has garnered at Lemans. Audi has done everything in it’ power to completely 360 the brands image. For many years, Audi was considered an unreliable brand that was problematic and overpriced. Audi’s suffered many electrical problems something that stuck with their brand for many years. However things have truly changed for the positive with Audi over the years. The brand has not only gotten rid of the unreliable image, but they have become a technology power house in its own right. Audi was also considered third rate after BMW and Mercedes, but not anymore.

Where many people criticize BMW for their confusing iDrive and in an era where Mercedes COMMAND is also equally confusing, Audi’s MMI has shined bright since its original debut. It’s easy to use, simple to understand, and best of all ties all functions of the car into one knob. The evolutions over the years have also been impressive; especially with the all new know where you can draw letters in versus typing it on the display. Audi is also working on a new system called Audi Urban Intelligent Assist which shows you when parking spots are empty, and reroutes you automatically when a major even is happening during your destination. Not to mention, the all new system also syncs with your smartphone to give you GPS calculations on foot once you have arrived at your destination.

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

The next area that Audi should be praised for an usually are is fuel economy. The fuel economy on the recent Audi cars has been very impressive and is a leader in its respective field. The Audi A4, A5, A6, and A7 all have best in class fuel economy numbers while still offering exhilarating numbers. Audi started increasing their fuel economy numbers significantly at a time when most manufacturers were not focusing on fuel economy. Now everyone else is following Audi in fuel economy, I guess this is just part of what makes Audi the Truth in Engineering. Congratulations to Audi on 100 years and we certainly will be looking forward to the next upcoming 100 years.

If you look at the previous models and the Q7 you will see a world of difference and that day by day Audi is getting better and better.

The 2013 Audi Q7 is powered by 3.0T Premium and Premium Plus is a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 280 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque which results in the vehicle to accelerate to 60 mph within 6.9 seconds from a rest position. The fuel economy is for the Audi 2013 Q7 is 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg in the highway. Although the 2013 Audi Q7 features full-time all-wheel drive, it is not well suited for off-road excursions. Instead, the Q7 is more at home supplying ample grip on slippery pavement or enhancing cornering prowess. It comes with standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, roof rails, a power lift gate (with programmable opening angle), heated mirrors, automatic wipers, dual-zone automatic climate control and eight-way power front seats with heating. The 2013 Audi Q7 also has the Multi-Media Interface (MMI) system, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity and an 11-speaker audio system with an auxiliary input, dual SD-card slots along with a satellite radio.

One of the best things that many SUV lovers enjoy is the Power ON and OFF button. Thumb start the button and the supercharge DOHC 32-valve 5.0L V8 takes control. The dream car climbs its way up to 100km/h within 5 seconds and for a luxurious vehicle that’s damn impressive. The eight-speed transmission is a suitably cultured companion, smoothly blurring the rapid shifts if you’re hanging onto gears and spinning up to the redline if it gets the signal from a heavier throttle. The reduced weight and the extra gear rations assists to drop from 0-6- acceleration time for the V8 to 6.5 seconds down from 7.2 seconds .It can travel over 150 Mph and is highly fuel economic. The beast like new model also has a next generation Terrain Response System which means that Range Rover’s auto pilot system will sort things faster than you or me. The dream car will also offer state of the art two business class seats instead of mid row bench.

The new Range Rover sport offers now 5 cockpit rotatory dials; three fixed rotary dials for the climate control, the capstan-style gear selector that rises out of the walnut console and the Terrain Response selector. For safety precautions there is d driver’s front knee air bag, a cornering brake control, camera at the back side of the car and hill-start/descent control.

It seems like just yesterday when we were enjoying the awesome ride and performance that the 2014 A3 Audi was giving us but who knew in few months’ time we’ll soon be hearing about the 2015 A3 . Yup that’s right, Audi has announced their upcoming inventions at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.

Assembled in a four-door notchback body style, the Audi A3 Sedan rests within a 175.5-inch bumper-to-bumper length. The 2015 Audi A3 sedan is 6.5 inches longer than the outgoing Audi A3 Sport back. Despite the sizeable lengthening, the 2015 A3 sedan is still well-placed as a compact car. In fact, the new A3 sedan stands closer to the size of many subcompact cars including the Chevrolet Sonic and Nissan Versa. They A3 will have a greater mature and sporty like kind of exterior. Audi’s next-generation styling wears the well-defined, trademark Single frame grille and a pair of HID headlamps casting an animal-like stare. Full-LED headlights will be optional equipment for the first time on a compact luxury car. The entry-level motor for the A3 is a 1.8-liter TFSI offering 170 horsepower. There is a TDI version for the diesel fans out there. The A3 Quattro also offers a 2.0-liter TFSI engine, while the S3 Quattro gets a higher-output version of the same motor. A six-speed S Tronic transmission is the sole offering for the series. One of the features for the Audi fans would be the E-Audi drive select that allows the driver to adjust throttle response, shift points, and the electromechanical steering effort. Similar to other Audi models, Audi drive select has four settings that include Auto, Dynamic, Comfort and Individual.

The 2015 A3 delivers the same prestige and high-quality materials found in Audi’s flagship sedan, the A8 with standard leather seating surfaces and exceptional ergonomics. The MMI operating system has an electronically extending screen, its terminal housed in the console of the center dashboard. It features a 7-inch high resolution display screen with magnesium backing that is less than ½ inch thick. Audi said it enhanced the Google Earth 3D satellite mapping system with new point-of-interest search capabilities. Vehicle occupants will be able to use Google Voice Local Search and a new Picture Navigation service. For handling safety, the vehicle features electronic stability control equipped with an electronic differential lock. When driving through curves, Audi said the vehicle can brake the inside front wheel slightly to minimize under steer and improve traction.

So over all you can see that the Audi 2015 A3 would be one of the highly anticipated cars because of the technology and performance its going to offer.

The new 2014 Audi TT will be looking to get power increases across all three models. The TT, TT-S, and TT-RS should all get increased power, as well as increased fuel economy. The new base engine will reportedly be the improved 2.0T which puts out 220HP over the current cars 211HP, and torque should also be higher across the board. The Audi TT-S will most likely get the 2015 Audi S3’s 2.0T motor which puts out 300HP, the current Audi TT-S puts out 265HP so that would be a nice sizable increase. For the Audi TT-RS, Audi will reportedly continue to use a turbocharged 5 cylinder, however this engine would be good for 400HP, compare that to the current cars 360HP and you have a nice sizable increase. This is only just the tip of the iceberg, consider that these cars will most likely have better fuel economy, and better performance as the next generation TT will see another weight reduction.

We expect the next generation Audi TT to have styling influences, from Audi’s Quattro concept which would include a new Grille as well as a new LED headlight design. While the Audi TT has been successful for Audi, the BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK are also successful for their respective brands. They also tend to sell better as well; it might partially be because both cars have been out longer than the TT and have a more recognized reputation. The Mercedes SLK debuted in 1996, the BMW Z debuted in 1996, whereas the Audi TT debuted in 1999 three years after the competition. Also, the BMW Z and Mercedes SLK have had three generations of vehicles, whereas the Audi TT has only had two generations.

The Audi TT has beaten the BMW Z4, and Mercedes SLK when it comes to value and they can continue this heritage with the next generation models. The BMW Z4 has become so expensive that BMW is actually contemplating another retake on the BMW Z3, and the Mercedes SLK starts at $50,000 which is about $10,000 more than the Audi TT. We don’t know when Audi will debut their next Audi TT, but it’s a safe bet it should be around the same time as the Audi Q7 which is equally as old. The urgency to update the Audi TT is not as strong as the Audi Q7, as SUV sales have increased substantially for the 2013 year globally. When Audi finally releases information on the next generation Audi TT, all eyes will be on them.

Making its international debut in Detroit, the new 2014 Audi SQ5 is a gasoline-powered alternative to the existing SQ5 TDI turbo diesel model currently sold only in various European markets. While sharing many of the key visual cues and mechanical enhancements with its oil-burning alter ego, this new U.S.-bound variant – the first SQ5 to be fitted with a gasoline engine – was specifically tailored to appeal to buyers in North America, South America, South Africa, China, Japan and several other Asian countries.

This time in place of the 3.0-liter TDI V6 that makes 313-horsepower and 479 lb-ft of peak torque, Audi’s latest high-performance crossover SUV gets its motivation from the automaker’s supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 that churns out 354 horses and 347 lb-ft of torque in this installation and is backed by an 8-speed Tip-tronic automatic transmission with dual program modes and steering-wheel-mounted shifter paddles. Power is shipped to each tire via a performance-tuned Quattro full-time all-wheel-drive system with sufficient gusto to send the Audi SQ5 from 0-62 mph in just 5.2 seconds from a rest position on to an electronically capped top speed of 155 mph which from a luxury SUV is quite a lot. The suspension is lowered by 1.2 inches and fitted with firmer springs and shock absorbers. Twenty-inch wheels fitted with 255/45 tires—an option on the Q5 3.0T—are standard on the SQ5, while 21-inch wheels on series-40 rubber are offered as an option and are exclusive to the S model. If the European-market diesel-powered SQ5 is anything to go by, road holding grip should be spectacular. Less than notorious for over-the-top appearance packages, Audi will offer a list of subtle exterior features to distinguish the car. Those will include a platinum gray radiator grille, unique bumpers, a roof spoiler and aluminum look mirror caps among others.

The SQ5 also comes with a performance-tuned suspension, standard 20-inch and optional 21-inch wheels, an optional dynamic steering system, xenon headlights, leather and faux-suede upholstery, and some pretty new colors including Estoril Blue and Panther Black. Interior upgrades like Alcantara trim and aluminum bright work add to some sportiness from the cockpit view as well as signature S trim elements throughout the cabin. A navigation system with the latest MMI system is optional, as is the Bluetooth-tethered Wi-Fi connection. Folding the rear seats yields 57 cubic feet of cargo space, which is a little below average for this segment.

Overall, you can see that the 2014 Audi SQ5 is one heck of a SUV and you have to drive this baby to actually realize its tremendous performance.

Today we’re going to look at one of the two classics of the SUV world. Both vehicles at their time were considered one of the best but of course years have passed by and their latest models are better but it’s still worth looking at these two machines as they still rule the things somewhere.

Maserati 2012 Kubang is sleek and elegant in design and is nicely proportioned. The grille, side graphics and the rear pillar are designed taking cue from its luxury dream car siblings. The trident badge in the center of the radiator grill looks magnificent and is one of its prominent features. It features appealing LED lights at the front along with front fender vents. The power train on offer in the Maserati Kubang as per the prototype is the 4 litre DOHC V8 four valve per cylinder 4244cc engine producing maximum power output of 390 bhp @ 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 451 Nm @ 4500 rpm. This luxury motor is capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 5.5 sec and has a top speed of 158.5 mph which are quite respectable figures considering proportion of the vehicle. However there are chances that the production version will feature engine developed by Ferrari which is sure to raise performance of the SUV from current existing level.

In the Audi 2012 Q3 of the four engine variants that we were able to test – two torqued 2.0-liter TDI diesels (138 horsepower and 174 hp) and two versions of the 2.0-liter TFSI gas engine (168 and 208 hp) – we went straight for the hotter 2.0-liter TFSI Quattro with full S-line trim package and the seven-speed S-tronic dual clutch gearbox, certain to be the top trim for hot urban late 20s and early 30s trendsetting smoothies. Our tester even included Audi Drive Select with its Efficiency/Comfort/Automatic/Dynamic chassis and drive settings now calibrated exclusively through Audi’s MMI controller. Note: There’s no driver-customizable “Individual” gradient for the Q3′s Drive Select, which is a bit of a bummer. All the models take more than 6 sec to reach from 0-60mph. It measures 4,385 mm long, 2,019 mm wide and is 1,608 mm high. The cargo bay is able to hold 460 liters of luggage and can be extended up to 1,365 liters with the seats folded. There is also a nice palette of earthy color choices for the leather trim, with tans and browns joining the obligatory shades of grey, charcoal and beige. The color options extend to the lower dash and door trims.

Features and options include a standard 6.5-inch screen, parking assist, Bluetooth audio streaming and hands free calling, iPod connectivity, dual-zone climate control, a driver information system and multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel, among a list of premium features.

Clearly with the Maserati Kubang, the host of features, powertrain is better than the Q3 and hence here it wins. What the production version will include depends on time. We’ll do engage you with the final versions whenever we get to test both.

One definite positive factor that the dream car is that fuel economy is its best friend i.e. 30 mpg on the high and a 20 mpg in the city, which trust me for a Sudan isn’t that bad. The luxury car contains and Independent Multi-Link Rear Suspension with Coil Springs and Gas Charged Shock Absorbers, which insures that the driver enjoys a smooth ride over small bumps.

The 18 inch alloy wheels along with a well-built steering helps the car to always stay in control and the all-wheel drive system does a great job of inspiring driver confidence in its road holding abilities. The 2013 Audi A5 has Xenon head lights and LED tail lights and 6-Speed Manual Transmission with Overdrive. The interior features are just as exceptional as the exterior ones. The Satellite Radio , Navigation system (Google Earth),Bluetooth phone ,and the audio system (10 speakers) just increases its beauty. With different specs offered the Audi A5 is available for an approximate $41,900.

The 2012 Jaguar XJ is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 385 hp and 380 pound-feet of torque. As with all XJ models, a six-speed automatic with manual shift control is standard. Jaguar estimates a 0-60-mph sprint of 5.4 seconds and combined fuel economy of 19 mpg. Every 2012 Jaguar XJ comes standard with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, active head restraints and a blind spot warning system. Front seat active seatbelts are optional on the XJ and XJL, and standard on the others. Few cars strike such an excellent balance between ride comfort and sporty handling as the 2012 Jaguar XJ. Even with the big wheels, it glides down the road with a sophisticated suppleness. And yet, with its lightweight aluminum chassis and adaptive suspension, the XJ is also deceptively agile. Choosing the car’s “dynamic” driver setting engages a sharper throttle response, firmed dampers and quicker downshifts, all of which make the XJ feel much livelier.

The steering is sharp, body roll is negligible and there is a nimbleness you notice in the XJ that’s missing from its much heavier rivals. Which engine you choose simply comes down to whether you desire fast, faster or fastest. Standard equipment on the JAG dream car XJ includes 19-inch wheels, an adaptive suspension, a panoramic sunroof, automatic xenon headlamps, auto-dimming mirrors, a power-closing trunk lid, keyless ignition/entry, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, power front seats (16-way driver and 12-way passenger) with memory functions, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and leather upholstery. Also standard is an LCD digital instrument panel, a touch screen electronics interface, Bluetooth (phone connection and audio streaming), a navigation system, voice controls and a 14-speaker sound system with CD player, digital music storage, an iPod interface, HD radio and satellite radio.
