A Unique "Call for Papers" for American University Graduate Students
International Peace and Conflict Studies

Infinity Journal (IJ), which is set to launch its first edition in December,is going to provide a unique platform for graduates and young professionals to publish their writings on a wide array of topics in global affairs. While IJ¹s content is set against an intellectual backdrop it will offer the more casual feeling of an online magazine, making it that much more attractive to a large audience. The first two editions of IJ contain essays and opinion pieces from American, British, French, and South African graduate students

IPCR Student Survey Results

Dear IPCR students, In response to concerns voiced by students on campus and to buttress the newly created Strategic Planning Committee; other IPCR student leaders and me had conducted a survey via the SIS listserv to identify issues students are most concerned about. The survey was available through the SIS listservs and the “aupeace.org” website for a period of 5 weeks i.e 21st November 2007 – 31st December 2007. I am happy to report that of the 140-160 IPCR students, we have had 97 valid respondents to the survey. I have tried to keep this report as brief and to the point as possible; you can find actual vote numbers and percentages on the attached PDF documents.

IPCR Student Survey

Dear IPCR students,
In response to concerns voiced by students on campus and to buttress the newly created Strategic Planning Committee by Professor Fisher: other IPCR student leaders and myself have formulated a survey which will gauge student opinion and identify issues students are most concerned about.
This survey is the first part of a process to understand concerns raised by IPCR students and address them through a consensus within and as a community. Click here to take the survey The survey will also be available through the IPCR website - www.aupeace.org and will be available for 2 weeks closing on December 6th 2007. Please do take 5 minutes to fill it out, for it is your academic future that you will be addressing. The survey is open only to graduate students within the International Peace and Conflict Resolution Program at American University.
