My god, i think i've fallen in love with a new style of beer.

It reminded me a little bit of unfermented wort, but it was very smooth.

Anyone got any idea how to make a similar style beer?
The guy at the brewery said it was all crystal malt with no bittering using POR for aroma etc.

Excellent beer IMO.

This was the first beer that i have had that was a "english ale" ... is this an actual style? no bittering/gets sweeter as it gets warm?
Long time lurker, been brewing seriously for a couple of years but mostly hung out on homebrew subreddit and other international spaces, but have been reading threads here for quite some time.
Started with extract kits and quickly geared up for all grain, my own recipes, making a lot of mess and learning a lot along the way.
Based in SEQ, 36, brew one a month or so in 20-24L batches, one full 19L keg plus a bit in a mini-keg for sharing.
I do a lot of new world styles, NEIPAs...

Hey guys,

I am thinking much about adjusting my water profile when brewing however find it expensive to do a water report on my water as it's rainwater. I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea on what kind of water report a rainwater report would look like, I live in country Vic, Riddells Creek specifically and don't think their would be too much difference if the rainwater report was Melbourne water. I'm not prepared to go and spend $200 to get the water tested as good guesswork should...

I did a keg washer a few years ago using a small submersible pump under a weld mesh stand inside my old modified 35L Guten and this has been ok, but I've decided to upgrade things and got to work on it.

So I wanted a keg washer that I can dial in consistent 50~55 Celsius temperature, has a lot more pressure to run a purpose built CIP nozzle, and all stainless steel to use alkaline based PBW most of the time, and an occasional weak solution of Phosphoric/Nitric acid mix for beer stone...

Does anyone have any experience with cellar science calli yeast? I have used it instead of US05 in a mid strength Aussie ale. Pitched 1 pack. Was very slow to start, no action at 60hrs, at 72hrs I pushed temp up from 18 to 20 to coax it into life. Pack was fresh, date inside 3 months of use. Fermented in fermzilla with a light back pressure. Fermentation is now finished and sampling from the fermenter the beer has a treacle and solventy smell. Similar taste. Assuming some sort of infection...

SS Brewtech Chronical Stainless Steel Fermenter. This one is 14 gallon/53Litre.

Comes with the FTs Chill and Heating Kit which includes chilling coil, heating wrap, controller, submersible pump and a couple of neoprene wraps. This also has a dome lid with 1.5" TC port and PRV.
It's a great piece of equipment and a regretful sale but looking to sell so I can get a smaller fermenter. Happy to trade for a 26L Chronical, Brewbuilt Stainless Conical or similar.
