Fitur Sport Hybrid Honda CR-Z

Di balik bodi sportinya, mobil hybrid Honda CR-Z ternyata menyimpan teknologi yang berbeda dengan mobil hybrid lain. Teknologi yang pertama adalah Integrated Motor Assist (IMA). Untuk diketahui, motor listriknya di CR-Z ternyata hanya membantu mesin konvensional agar lebih berperforma. Tidak seperti hybrid lain, motor listriknya tidak bisa menyala sendiri meski tenaga baterai penuh.

Secara umum hybrid ada dua tipe yakni hybrid paralel dan hybrid seri. Honda menyebut CR-Z adalah hybrid tipe seri. Honda CR-Z diperkuat mesin 1.500 cc dan bisa melontarkan tenaga 120 Ps (untuk transmisi otomatis) sedangkan motor listriknya bertenaga 20 Ps. Jadi jika bekerja secara bersamaan, kedua mesinnya melontarkan tenaga 140 Ps, sehingga CR-Z lebih baik dalam berakselerasi. Begitu kunci kontak diputar ke posisi On, mesin bensin konvensional-lah yang menyala.

"Kinerjanya memang seperti itu. Jadi motor listrik hanya membantu dan tidak bisa menyala sendiri. Mobil sport hybrid seperti Honda CR-Z cukup banyak peminatnya. Terhitung sejak diluncurkan di bulan September 2012 lalu, inden CR-Z mencapai angka 185 unit, dan Honda mulai pengiriman CR-Z kepada konsumennya.

Honda CR-Z merupakan mobil sport hybrid pertama Honda. Honda CR-Z pertama kali muncul di ajang Tokyo Motor Show 2009 dan resmi diluncurkan pada acara North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) di Detroit, Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 11 Januari 2010. Namun model baru mobil ini pertama kali dikenalkan di Indonesia pada 2012 lalu.

Mobil yang didesain dengan konsep sporty ini diperkuat dengan mesin i-VTEC 1,5 liter dipadu dengan teknologi baterai Integrated Motor Assist (IMA).

Performa mesin Honda CR-Z otomatis mampu menyemburkan 118 Ps pada putaran mesin 6.600 rpm untuk tipe transmisi CVT. Sementara transmisi manual mampu menghasilkan daya maksimal 120 Ps pada putaran mesin 6.600 rpm untuk tipe transmisi manual 6 percepatan.
