Wordpress, vbulletin and htaccess

I am sick of Wordpress htaccess problems. The damn thing cannot recognise a vbulletin folder inside the wordpress install. I could find no normal way to redirect my forum from the www version to the non - www version. Fortunately, i am not normal I just hope i dont crash my server.
