2027 Volkswagen Tiguan
The current Volkswagen Tiguan was introduced in 2025 for the SUV’s third generation. With the current Tiguan being fully redesigned recently, we expect the compact SUV to be a carryover model for the 2027 model year. Here’s what we expect to see from the upcoming 2027 Volkswagen Tiguan.The exterior design of the 2027 Volkswagen Tiguan isn’t expected to change compared to the current model that’s on sale. The current Tiguan has upscale styling with a slim rectangular grille, oval headlights, a wide air intake, and angular elements on the front fascia. The side profile of the Tiguan reveals light body cladding, a prominent body line that connects the headlights and taillights, and black roof pillars. At the back, the Tiguan has a small rear spoiler, a chunky rear bumper, and squared-off taillights that are connected by a horizontal bar.Volkswagen isn’t expected to make any design changes to the 2027 Tiguan’s cabin. The Tiguan’s cabin has a premium design with a tiered dashboard, a large central display that’s angled toward the driver, triangular air vents, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. The compact SUV also has an elongated transmission tunnel with large storage compartments. Higher trim levels include more premium touches, such as leather upholstery and wood trim.When it comes to tech features, the 2027 Volkswagen Tiguan should have the same equipment as the current model that’s on sale. The base Tiguan should come with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a wireless charging pad, Bluetooth, four USB-C ports, voice recognition, seven audio speakers, and satellite radio.2027 Volkswagen Tiguan Engine & SpecsPower for the 2027 Volkswagen Tiguan should continue to come from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Power is currently rated at 201 horsepower for lower trims and 268 horsepower for the SEL R-Line Turbo trim. All Tiguan models come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.2027 Volkswagen Tiguan SafetyStandard safety features on the 2027 Volkswagen Tiguan should include adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, automatic high-beam assist, and a semi-autonomous driving system. All trims of the Tiguan will get upgraded images on the backup camera, and Area View will be enhanced on the SEL R-Line Turbo.2027 Volkswagen Tiguan PriceVolkswagen has not confirmed pricing for the 2027 Tiguan yet, but the upcoming SUV should be similarly priced to the current model that’s on sale. The current Tiguan ranges from $32,280 to $45,410.
