fresh & new website

After some days & days working on this php and css files I can say now my new and fresh website is working for 90%.

I need to change some little details like follow icon and manage some pages but I ma pretty satisfay by the result.

Hope you enjoy this new templates and it will be a good excuse for me to update it more often.

This 1rst May is just the good time to update my blog. That’s the mission that I gave myself this morning. This year is rather hard, the preparation of my courses takes me so much time and I was not able to dedicate myself as I hoped for it in my blog. Fortunately, the university year ending and my teacher job too. I hope to have more time for me nexts weeks. That is why, as soon as I can, I leave
Here are some pics of one of my last break in Arpil, somewhere at the end of the world, in Cerbère…

It is in this last village before Spanish border that I stopped. The atmosphere is really strange (like the name) and out of time. Cerbère have one of the last train station of France and this railroad line was the only link with Spain before a road was inaugurated in 1928. The travelers were thus forced to stop there to take their correspondence and make their papers. To welcome these travelers in transit we made build a magnificent hotel, in the comfort of the most modern: a room of cinema, ball, a restaurant with a fantastic view over the bay, a tennis court on the roof.

The work was conceived by Léon Baille and built between 1925-1932. The very characteristic architecture of the style of the 20’s reminds passenger ships. But with the Spanish Civil War, we closed border and the hotel was fast abandoned… Actually a part of the hotel stay like in 1920, that’s incredible, I felt like traveling in the past.

It is only in 2002 when we classified the hotel in « historic monuments ».
