<p>Today, here in the US it is Valentine’s Day a commercialized and heavily marketed day for couples to show they Love each other by buying tons of expensive gifts and flowers. As a newly single person after 20 plus years in a marriage, it is shocking to look at from my new perspective.</p>
<p>What if, your focus was to shift to Self Love? Today and every day that follows notice the love inside of you that is naturally there. You have an inner well of Love that you can access by just requesting to experience it. Say to yourself “Let me feel the Love inside me!”</p>
<p>I am ready to stand on my pink soap box and shout “Love comes from within you! For you to Love someone you must first Love Yourself. You receive love in energetic proportion to the Love you have chosen to allow inside you and from that tank you can than share with others.”</p>
<p>You have access to unlimited amounts unconditional Love, acceptance and approval from the Divine at all times. All you need to do is ask.</p>
<p>I know some of you are say, “But Jade I don’t Love myself!” I get it. Just like I have in the past, you are running your programming. I am too fat, short, pushy . . . or I’m not worthy, good enough, enough . . . Whatever your self-limiting beliefs might be running in your mind or any physical difference you have from how you would like to look come flying up to be heard. Right?</p>
<p>Self Love is a choice! There are no prerequisites or perfect model body before you can have it. You are a child of the Divine God. You were created from Love to Love. You have the power to choose right now, in this moment, to Love Yourself totally and completely just as you are!</p>
<p><strong>Awaken Sister Tip: </strong><br />
•Pink is the color that represents the energy of self Love.<br />
•Decide that each time you see the color pink that the voice in your head will remind you,<br />
“I Love myself!”<br />

<p>&#8220;To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I&#8217;ve ever written.</p>
<p>My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:</p>
<p>1. Life isn&#8217;t fair, but it&#8217;s still good.</p>
<p>2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.</p>
<p>3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.</p>
<p>4. Your job won&#8217;t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.</p>
<p>5. Pay off your credit cards every month.</p>
<p>6. You don&#8217;t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.</p>
<p>7. Cry with someone. It&#8217;s more healing than crying alone.</p>
<p>8. It&#8217;s OK to get angry with God. He can take it.</p>
<p>9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.</p>
<p>10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.</p>
<p>11. Make peace with your past so it won&#8217;t screw up the present.</p>
<p>12. It&#8217;s OK to let your children see you cry.</p>
<p>13. Don&#8217;t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.</p>
<p>14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn&#8217;t be in it.</p>
<p>15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don&#8217;t worry; God never blinks.</p>
<p>16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.</p>
<p>17. Get rid of anything that isn&#8217;t useful, beautiful or joyful.</p>
<p>18. Whatever doesn&#8217;t kill you really does make you stronger.</p>
<p>19. It&#8217;s never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.</p>
<p>20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don&#8217;t take no for an answer.</p>
<p>21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don&#8217;t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.</p>
<p>22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.</p>
<p>23. Be eccentric now. Don&#8217;t wait for old age to wear purple.</p>
<p>24. The most important sex organ is the brain.</p>
<p>25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.</p>
<p>26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words &#8216;In five years, will this matter?&#8217;</p>
<p>27. Always choose life.</p>
<p>28. Forgive everyone everything.</p>
<p>29. What other people think of you is none of your business.</p>
<p>30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.</p>
<p>31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.</p>
<p>32. Don&#8217;t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.</p>
<p>33. Believe in miracles.</p>
<p>34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn&#8217;t do.</p>
<p>35. Don&#8217;t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.</p>
<p>36. Growing old beats the alternative &#8212; dying young.</p>
<p>37. Your children get only one childhood.</p>
<p>38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.</p>
<p>39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.</p>
<p>40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else&#8217;s, we&#8217;d grab ours back.</p>
<p>41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.</p>
<p>42. The best is yet to come&#8230;</p>
<p>43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.</p>
<p>44. Yield.</p>
<p>45. Life isn&#8217;t tied with a bow, but it&#8217;s still a gift.&#8221;</p>

Three So-Easy Strategies &#8211; Their Just Silly.</a><p></p><p>It’s hard to believe just a year ago I didn’t even have a book in the pipeline. At the time, it was just some pipe-dream. Little did I know that in less than twelve months I’d soon have two books on the market. It seems ironic since I had struggled for years to even commit to an idea for a book, but now the ideas are everywhere. </p>
<p>Why was my experience so easy? What was different or was I just plain lucky?  In reality it was none of those excuses that even I’d love to believe. If I happen to come across a page of luck, I’d surely share my secret formula, but it isn’t about luck at all. </p>
<p>Over the course of the year, there have been three-oh-so-easy strategies that supported this stellar growth. Besides only sleeping on Sundays, and cloning myself, &#8211; teasing &#8211;  these are the three things that I know can help bring your book to life too! </p>
<p>Drumroll p-uh-lease!?!  </p>
<p>Collaboration. First, I didn’t go at it alone. Lone-ranger out – team player in! My book and business partner Lisa Shultz is my main collaborator; however, in our first book we had 47 other lovely ladies submit their chapters to us. Which made the writing process a whole-heck-of-a-lot easier. Imagine a book with your name on it and you just have to write a few chapters!?   When I went to take my first stab at writing a book, I failed, I barely got started, and the whole-darn process seemed overwhelming as all get out. I quit. Here’s where luck or serendipity did come in, Lisa asked me to join her on her book project, and I said yes!  Suddenly, I saw the light. If you want to do something big in your life, whether write a book or become president, you are not going to get their alone. </p>
<p>Goals. I know, this sounds elementary. But they work. Goals, deadlines, and a fire under your-you-know-what are seriously the key to just getting that book written and out into the world.  Trying to write a book without some looming deadline means that your book may, just may, be ready for print in 2025.  Clearly define your goals and figure it out from there. When Lisa and I partnered at the end of 2009, we picked late August for our launch date. We then worked backwards and timed out every step in between. It kept us on schedule and it kept the process moving along. We always knew where we had to be and when we had to be there by. Goals, however over-emphasized in our world, are a shortcut to accomplishment. </p>
<p>Accountability. If no one knows you are writing a book, or if you’ve locked up your work in a vault fearful of putting it out into the world – it’s never going to get out there. Accountability to others is one of the fastest ways to get your book done and out to market. Lisa and I checked in with each other so frequently during the writing and compilation of our books, that we never missed a beat. How are you on this? Where are you on that? How’s this coming along? What can I do to help you? Flailing along as a solo-aspiring-author is difficult, challenging, and lonely-as-the corner ice cream store in a February snowstorm. Don’t do it, do not, under any circumstances attempt to go at it alone. If you are writing a book as the sole author, it doesn’t mean that you can’t have an accountability partner, coach, friend, or mentor. Team up and you will find a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, filled with inspiration, encouragement, and motivation.  </p>
<p>So really, as you can see – writing and getting two books complete in one year isn’t all that hard if you abide by these oh-so-easy-strategies. Don’t wait to get your book done. Get your book done this year! </p>

<p>Start by observing when you say “Thank You” to others.<br />
Now, notice when your unconscious mind assists you in your day.<br />
When you are ASKing to change a habit, like biting your nails, Thank Yourself for reminding you to stop every time you catch the behavior.  You will see shifts quickly.<br />
You will notice daily that you more easily remember things and find misplaced items by just ASKing.<br />
Thank Yourself often while driving.  When you are distracted and look up just in time to stop safely or want to change lanes and get the reminder to look again as speed racer has just pulled into the lane, Thank Yourself<br />

<li>Create a list of what you want to be, do or have.</li>

<li>State what you want to feel or want to attract into your life.  Wait a moment and feel your request flow into you.  Then declare out loud, “Yes!”  Then state your next choice and declare “Yes!”  Keep going and feel the level of your internal vibration matching what you want to feel and attract into your life.</li>

<ul>
<li>Before you begin make sure there is plenty of room around you. </li>
<li>Stand up and put your feet close together and have your knees slightly bent.</li>
<li>Relax and connect to your body.</li>
<li>Now, out loud, ASK your body mind this question, “Unconscious mind show me a sway of my body that undeniably represents the answer YES”.</li>
<li>Your body will move in whatever direction it wants and that is your YES direction.  {It could move backward, forward, left, right or at an angle, whichever way it goes is just right.}</li>
<li>Thank your unconscious mind for answering you.</li>
<li>Next, ASK your body mind this question, “Unconscious mind show me a sway of my body that undeniably represents the answer NO”</li>
<li>The direction your body moves is your NO direction.</li>
<li>Thank your unconscious mind for answering you. </li>
<li>Now, ASK Yourself questions with yes or no answers.</li>
</ul>
<p>When you are good at the practice you can ask the questions silently.</p>
<p>To take this practice further you can use it while shopping.  Will I wear this pair of shoes enough to justify buying them?  What does my body want to eat to provide the needed nutrients and nutrition for me to be fit and feel well?  Broccoli or chocolate?  To test food, hold the food between your heart and throat to access the thymus gland.  You get the idea.</p>
<p>* I was reminded to use this form of applied kinesiology ~ muscle testing ~ by my friend Laura in a grocery store when I couldn’t decide what to eat for lunch.  Now, I use it many times each day.  When you master the practice others won’t even notice what you are doing.  ASK Yourself often.</p>

<h2>Set Up Your Energy for the Day</h2>
<h3>Before you get out of bed check into your body and notice what level your energy is at.  If it is different than you desire it to be, ask your body mind to shift your energy to where you want it.  If you have physical needs like using the bathroom or getting a drink of water, do those before you do the shift.   It will allow your body to focus on your shift more easily.</h3>
<h3>Here is how to shift.  Close your eyes and feel the energy of your entire being move to what you requested.  It can make it even easier if you can remember a time when you felt the way you want to feel for the day.  Looking through your own eyes in that positive memory see your day, hear what you are saying and feel &#8211; really feel &#8211; how you felt on that day.  Now ask your body mind to anchor, establish and maintain your energy at that level for the day.  </h3>

<h3>Stop the Wiggles</h3>
<h3>Do you have children who can&#8217;t sit still?  Give them a special smooth stone, any polished stone they like the feel of will do. Have them carry it in their pocket or wear it on a necklace.  Tell them the stone will help them sit still.  Tell them that if they need move to rub the stone.  Have them practice what they will do with the stone at home, so they get used to keeping it in their hand. The movement of rubbing a stone is not disruptive in the class room! </h3>

<h3>Settling Down</h3>
<h3>Are your little ones too amped up to go to bed or sit at the dinner table?  Have them twirl in a circle to their left a few times.  Just have them follow their left hand moving toward their back.  This motion turns down the energy level inside by releasing extra energy.  You can do it too!  It works great before sitting in a long meeting or training. </h3>

<h3>Feeling Good</h3>
<h3>If your children are anxious before they go to bed about what is going on at school the next day or what happened at school that day.  Have them ask their angels to help them feel good when they wake up.  Just knowing that they have the love and support of their angels will allow children to more easily release the anxious energy they have created.  They can always ask their angel to be with them at school so they never feel alone.</h3>
