The new phone doesn’t look very much different from the Galaxy Ace. The original phone was considered to be deeply inspired by the design of the iPhone and a newbie would misinterpret a Galaxy Ace to an iPhone easily and the Ace plus has similar looks, except for the placement of the camera, which is at the centre, compared to the Ace which had it on the left corner.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace plus is bigger than the Galaxy Ace by a few millimetres and it is thinner than the Ace by 0.3 mm. The Samsung Galaxy Ace plus measures at 114.5 x 62.5 x 11.2 mm. and weighs 2g heavier than the Ace at 115g.The screen is 3.65 inches and is .15 inches bigger than the Galaxy Ace.

On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy Ace plus is very much different from the Galaxy Ace, with improved specs. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 1 GHz single core processor and 512MB of RAM while the Galaxy Ace had a 800 MHz processor with a mere 278 MB RAM. They both have the Adreno 200 GPU. Now the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus will be definitely faster than the Galaxy Ace, which would struggle a lot when working with multiple applications.

The biggest problem with the Galaxy Ace was the internal memory which was a meagre 158 MB,but the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus solves it and comes with a bountiful 3GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB using an external microSD card.

The camera is similar to that of the Galaxy Ace, that is a 5-megapixel AF camera with LED flash. It doesn’t have a front facing camera. Samsung should have added the front facing camera as 3G is becoming increasingly popular in India.

This phone would also come with Samsung Kies Air like the latest Samsung Android phones, for instant updates and Samsung ChatON for staying connected with your friends. It would also have the traditional Google apps that come preinstalled in other Samsung Android phones.

One disappointing thing about the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is that, it would come with the Android Gingerbread 2.3 Though Google has released the next version of Android, Android 4.0 a.k.a Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung is reluctant to bring it to the mid segment and lower segment Android phones and has reserved it only for its high end models. Samsung hasn’t said anything about a possible ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus.

This phone looks cool and comes with convincing specs for a mid range Android phone. The pricing details haven’t been announced yet. But it is expected to be priced around 15000 INR.

With the flexible mobile concept revolving in Samsung’s road map for the past few days, this new introduction or rumor, whatever you call, is all set to take Samsung further up in the profit. It could just be one of those available prototypes of the Samsung Galaxy S3. Once a model is confirmed, the production process will start and within a matter of time, people can get their lovely hands on this all new mobile device. As reported earlier, Galaxy S3 will not attend the Mobile World Congress held at Barcelona this month. The mobile announcement has been pushed for a few more days. Does that mean that, Samsung is holding the time just make sure that this device is ultra cool with this new feature?

Microsoft, at the CES 2012, unveiled this new version of the game for the web platform, giving access to all those Cut the Rope fans. If you are new to this game, you would like to know that, this game is actually a physics based puzzle game. The objective of this game is that, you got to figure out the ways by cutting the rope and you have to get a candy inside the mouth of a small green monster. Alongside, you will also have to collect the stars shown in each level. The more stars you collect, the better your ranking.

This new version does not require any installation. It’s just that, you got to head to the site Cut the Rope and there lies the HTML5 version of the game. As reported, this game, coming from the tech giant Microsoft, comes with a pretty cool feature to popularize it’s latest official browser, Internet Explorer 9. If you had recently logged into your Facebook account, you might have noticed that Facebook’s chat section at the bottom right shows a notifications box, introducing you to see all new chat feature. If not, you better log in now. You will be really surprised to use this awesome feature. Let us look into the new options that Facebook chat gives us now.

As the above image depicts, you can go offline to your irritating friends, or family members, or even to a list. If you have been managing a list of your close friends, you now have to option to pop online only to them. If you have a group of irritating friends, you can now now show yourself as offline, while you continue with your other works.

Hit the Settings button available at the bottom right of the chat box in the sidebar. Once hit, it will give you access to the list of options underlying there. In that, opt to go inside Advanced Settings. Once inside, the options lying there, as the names denote, are pretty useful and easy to use.

• All your friends see you except… : This options allows you to show yourself online to all your friends in your friends list in Facebook. If you want to appear offline only to a few friends, enter their names, or the names of the lists and voila ! This magic algorithm does the job.

• Only some friends see you… : With this in your hands, you can easily appear online to only some friends or lists. Want to show yourself online only to your close pals? Use this option!

• No once sees you (go offline) : As the names denotes, you can use this simple option to show yourself offline to everyone in your friends list. Alternatively, you can hit the Settings button at the bottom right, in your chat section, and hit the Go offline button. If you are a Facebook freak, you might notice that, Facebook has changed the name of this button from Available to chat to Go offline. Well, it doesn’t matter. The thing is, you can go offline easily now.

Choose the option that you need, hit the names of your friends or lists and hit the Save button. Within a matter of seconds, the chat section will rearrange itself using it’s magical algorithm, along with the settings you provided in that Advanced Chat Settings box.

Also, you can go offline to a particular person in current chat, by hitting the Settings button at the top of the chat box and hit the Go offline to Name. Once selected, the person will see you offline in his chat section. A really useful tool, agree?

While most of the Facebook geeks out there already are in love with the Timeline feature rolled out by Facebook, back at the f8 2011 conference, this new official application is set to make it much more awesome. As you might have noticed, this application is officially from Facebook. It is not a third party application created by some other folks. Only then, you will find the application to be working. If you haven’t got the Timeline yet head to the About Timeline page and hit the get Timeline button at the bottom right. Or wait a few days to get the Timeline right from Facebook. As we reported previously, the Timeline is set to become the mandatory profile to all the Facebook users in a matter of days.

With the redirection process in a full swing, Google gives the reason for this new change as to not get caught in the hands of the local government. If any content is seemed offensive in a particular country and the court of that respective country orders Google to take down the content or the full site, the site will get taken down only in that country. While lots of blogspot bloggers begin wondering about the loss of search ranks, traffic and SEO, Google assures them that the users will won’t face these problems. Blogspot bloggers need not worry about SEO as Google is mentioning the U.S. version of the blogspot blogs, that is .blogspot.com, as the canonical version by inserting the tag rel=canonical. Once you are in your Newsfeed, you will find yourself staring at the chat sidebar at the right side. The chat sidebar sports the Ticker at the top while the bottom highlights the list of both online and offline friends. You must note the fact that you cannot hide the Ticker shown along with the chat list, that is in the chat sidebar. Only when you hide the sidebar, the Ticker shown at the top right can be hid.

Check out this above image. It shows the Ticker shown at the top right. It is a standalone Ticker and not the one bundled along with the chat section in the sidebar. As you can see in the image, my Facebook account now sports a brand new button named Hide Ticker which proves to be really useful to me. As the name denotes, when I find no use for the Ticker, I will be able to kick that out of my Newsfeed. Once hid, the Ticker can be shown again by hitting the button Show Ticker.
