it's already April 2009..
and this is my first post for the year 2009..
have to start keep on writing again..

have you heard?
there's a new series in town..
but i still didn't manage to catch it..
right now it's showing inHBO (if you are in Asia) if i'm not mistaken..

all the ramblings nowadays..
gossiping through email with dear cousin..
is all about this new series..

do you know about it?
oh..it's based on a novel too..
oh..and do go searching on the bookstore on novel title true blood (like i did)..you won't find it..
go search it on the title of The Southern Vampires Mysteries by Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse book series)

the genre?
let me give you a hint..
do you like watching Edward and Bella of Twilight?
i love this couple..very passionate and at the same time dangerous too..
(dangerous in a way that a vampire falling in love with a human)..
so..this new series also evolves in a relationship between a human and vampire too..
i can't wait to start watching it..or reading it..
but i have to scout for the book in the nearest bookstore..
still don't have a clue?

it has been a very long time since i last post in this blog..

didn't quite manage to catch any new drama series..
but somehow..right now i'm hooked with this twdrama Hooping Dulcinea or it's other name Bull Fighting..

It started as a 3-on-3 basketball competition between two rival schools; an annual event in which the winner would control the 13th Street basketball court for the following year. To everybody's surprise, the 9-year reigning champion lost this year... and it was all because of one girl. Now, this game has a new purpose.

Yi Sheng Xue (Hebe), a hot-headed young girl, is an avid Bull Fighting fan. At her side is her loyal childhood friend and personal bodyguard, Jin Zi Cong (Lee Wei). Their lives take a drastic turn when they meet Shen Ruo He (Mike He), whom Sheng Xue falls deeply in love with. However, they encounter many obstacles that stand in the way of them being together.

my..oh my...why am i late in receiving the news that there'll be a finale of Hana Yori Dango?..(sigh..)but it's a good thing though..i can watch it straight..heard that it's opening in Japan cinema this coming 28 Jun 2008..and it's tomorrow..

come to think of it..i haven't blog on jdrama - Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2 yet..not to worry..i'll blog about it later on..

yes you read it right!!!jmovie- Hana Yori Dango 2008 will be in movie..
i can see Makino in action again..not to forget Domyouji played by Matsumoto Jun, the whole gang of F4 and best of all..my cool, handsome and mystery Hanazawa Rui (Oguri Shun) will be in action..
i heart you..it seems that i can't never get enough of him nowadays..

so..to everyone who's been patiently waiting for this..
do control yourself..(i know i can't control it anymore..)
can't wait to see it..

jdrama : Gokusen 3

my favorite teacher is back!!
with more actions this time..though this is the 3rd season of Gokusen..(please refer here for Gokusen 1, Gokusen 2)
it has never failed to amazed me everytime..

are you familiar with the famous phrase "Don't Judge A Book From It's Cover?"
not all people who has a fierce, violence look from the outside is a bad person and vice versa..
(but don't easily trust people you don't know..we didn't know their hidden agenda)

but i do learn a lot by watching this jdrama - Gokusen 3..
i understands more on the meaning of comrades..through friends..sacrifices and a whole lot more lesson on life..

in the first few episodes of jdrama-Gokusen 3..Yankumi was having trouble as the class was not united not like the first two seasons.

see how Yankumi get control of her students and eventually teach them th most valuable lesson in life..squeeze some time towatch it..i bet..you won't regret it..in fact you can learn japanese too..like i do.. ;)

again a hand of applause to Yankumi played by Nakama Yukie for doing such an outstanding job
i couldn't find the closing theme song for this jdrama - Gokusen 3..
but please make do with this live version.

what will happen when an analyst become an agent field?
more or less the story will be like Chuck . in fact his name was also a line in this movie..
this is a spy comedy movie..

Maxwell Smart is an analyst with CONTROL and always dream on being a field agent..
his dream became true when all the field agent identity was being compromised due to intrusion of CONTROL headquarter..the only two agent left to continue the investiogation on KAOS was him being promoted as Agent 86 and Agent 99 who has a massive transformation.

watch Agent 86 - Maxwell Smart working together with Agent 99 in order to solve a case involving KAOS..

all in all..this is an interesting and enjoying movie..go watch it if you have time on your side..

it's Oguri Shun..the role that he plays as Hanazawa Rui in jdrama-Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2.. (i haven't blog on this jdrama yet) really make me daisuke(japanese word for really like) with him..oh..not to forget he also has a role in jdrama - Gokusen 1 as Haruhiko Uchiyama.
ok..enough about him..

j-drama - Hanazakari no Kimitachi e a.k.a Hana Kimi is about a girl (Ashiya-kun) who disguise as a boy in order to be with the boy (Sano-kun) that he like..which she came to know about him through a sport competition and the boy also had saved her from a bad gang..where later on the boy Sano-kun..the story revolved around her being a boy in an all boys school..trying hard to make sure her cover is not blown out..and at the same time trying to persuade Sano-kun to continue his high jump which apparently he's good at..will she be able in her mission?

overall..i can say that it's an interesting story..and i'll definitely continue watching it until the end..(i'm in second episode now..)
so those who want to watch this jdrama online..do log on to crunchyroll (you have to register first though)

the series revolved on Sarah and his son John and how they battle with life..as in the future John will lead mankind in war against machine (skynet) that will want to conquer the world..all the other robots will travel back to kill him while one will protect him..see how both mother and son struggle in facing their life making their life at stake with war against the Skynet..

The television series intentionally ignores the continuity of the third film, and it is essentially a sequel to the first two movies and is a "new" version of T3. The series opens in 1999, a few years after the events of T2. Sarah and John Connor seem to be living a peaceful life. Living undercover after being blamed for the murder of Miles Dyson, Sarah is even engaged, to paramedic Charley Dixon. However, Sarah, fearing discovery, and perhaps, as John suggests, the certainty of a stable life, forces the two of them to flee again. On his first day in his new school, John is attacked by a T-888 Terminator posting as a substitute teacher called Cromartie. He only escapes with the help of Cameron, a teenaged girl Terminator sent back to protect him. Sarah hears of the shooting on TV and rushes to the school, but is captured by Cromartie, who uses her to lure John into a trap. Again with the help of Cameron they escape, fleeing to a bank where resistance members have hidden the parts of a time machine. As Cromartie attacks them, the trio disappear. When they reappear, it is the year 2007.

Cameron suggests to Sarah that their purpose in this time is to stop Skynet, which she claims will go on line in 2011. Sarah argues that time traveling was a wrong move and that if she had been allowed to stay in 1999 she would have had longer to prepare John and to prepare to destroy Skynet. It is at this point that Cameron informs her that she would have died in the intervening years of cancer. Traveling to the future has given Sarah the time she needs to destroy Skynet in its infancy. As the three of them attempt to evade discovery, and track down the origins of Skynet, Sarah is burdened with the extra knowledge that her own body might betray her. The third episode of the series shows Sarah at a doctor's appointment where she is informed that she is completely healthy. Nevertheless, she seeks preventative measures from the doctor, hoping to avoid cancer altogether. Later episodes show her more intensively training her body, and she also is seen taking a handful of vitamins and medications.

Sarah's relationship with Cameron has been repeatedly antagonistic and mutual distrust, as she attempts to teach her the value of a human life, however Cameron also argues the importance of their mission to thwart Skynet's creation even if killing is necessary. During battle, Sarah and Cameron would find themselves working together.

In the episode "Queen's Gambit", she discovers that her deceased lover, Kyle Reese, has a brother named Derek, who's also a time-travelling Resistance agent, after the authorities arrested him for the murder of Andrew Goode, who was a friend of Sarah. Derek claims that he didn't murder Andy to Sarah in the prison's interrogation room. Tormented by the memory of being unable to save Kyle, she hopes to save Derek from a similar fate after he is badly wounded by another cyborg; a T-888 Terminator. After she revealed his true identity to John, he seeks the aid of her former fiancé, Charley Dixon, to save his uncle from dying. In the episode "Dungeons & Dragons", it is revealed that despite her knowledge that he's Kyle's brother, Sarah continues to harbor distrust of the man, possibly because she doesn't believe that he didn't commit the murder. On the episode, "Vick's Chip," her suspicion of it has been confirmed. Despite their mutual distrust, there are some attractions between them.

In the episode "The Demon Hand", a secret was revealed that Sarah kept from John; that she signed off her parental rights during her stay in the mental institution.

He's the Secret..She's the Agent..how's your impression??shouldn't the guy be the agent while the lady back there as the secret..what's behind the story that leads to the word?

everyone..meet chuck..he's an ordinary guy working at a mall under the nerd herd section..he's your average technical guy that will come to the rescue when you are facing any difficulties with your electronic gadget..be it is a computer...a mobile phone..or anything electronic..but everything changed when he received and email from his old buddy..who is also responsible for kicking him out of his university..now..chuck upon reading the email became a human computer where all the government secret lies within his head..starting from that day onwards..he now has two secret agent working side by side with him..protecting him from trouble(he's an important asset)..see how he save the world by being a secret agent along with his bodyguard who's posing as his girlfriend and another one as a co-worker..

so..if you have watched both Death Note 1 and Death Note 2 (jmovie)..you might think that the story has ended...well..it should be..right?Kira has been captured..so why bother..

now..this is where you are wrong..Death Note spinoff with title L,Change The World..(you can also call it Death Note 3) this time the story mainly focusing on L last 23 days..so..since both Kira identity and activity has been stopped..L now has the remaining Death Note and also have 23 more days to live..he then decided to reveal all the secrets that he has and knows on crime all over the world..he started giving out details, proof to the intended person..L also burn the Death Note that he has so that no one else will be able to use it ever again.

in the early part of this movie..there will be some confusion arising..(at least it is for me..)it's more on flashback and also the current situation that is happening at the other side of the world..since the Death Note has been burned..suddenly L is in responsible with two young kids both with gift..he now has to solve and and also save the world once again from a deadly virus developed by a team of scientist where their goal is to cleanse the world for a better place..(what they truly mean are killing all people in the world..leaving few others which they think is beneficial)..since the death note has been burned..L has to stopped their mission in good plain old way..and he must complete it in 23 days..

Ken'ichi Matsuyama reprises his role as L Lawliet from the previous Death Note films. The film chronicles the final 23 days of L's life, and follows L as he solves one final case. L is the protagonist of this film. L has to stop a bioterrorist group that aims to wipe out much of humanity. A virus with ten times the infectiousness of Ebola killed everyone except for one boy in a village in Thailand. L takes the survivor and a junior high school girl named Maki Nikaido under his wing.

Shunji Fujimura also reprises his role as Watari, but, dying in The Last Name, he is dead early in this film. Despite being depicted on the promotional poster, Misa Amane and the Death God Ryuk have brief cameos in the film, appearing on screen for less than thirty seconds each. A video still of Light Yagami is also used in the film. The Thai boy becomes the detective Near at the end of the movie.

The film was supposed to chronicle the events before L Lawliet met Kira, and was when Naomi and L worked together. Instead, the film will be about what happended after the Kira story and before L dies which is 23 days later.

so..being a curious person on what happens after Light Yagami and L after the killing scene in the museum which involve Light's girlfriend..i continued watching the second movie..jmovie - Death Note 2 - The Last Name

Like the first movie..the second movie is still able to anticipate me very well..
in this second movie..there is not only one Kira..but another Kira seems to emerge to the world and making L and his team become more confused..
oh..Light also managed to convince his father (police director) and L to become part of L team..and thus managed to give himself a thorough and latest information on Kira..L suspicion towards Light never wares down..but somehow..he himself seems to be confused sometime..as somehow Light managed to show evidence that he's not Kira..but..being a careful and never letting his guard down..he somehow still placed doubt on Light..will L managed to seize Kira?what is the meaning of the title The Last Name?and will the world would be saved by L..i think you be the judge..but this movie..is seriously not to be missed..a very anticipating jmovie..

i have started noticing that almost all my previous wheter it's jdrama, kdrama or others..is always about a happy, sweet, romantic kind of series..

so..this time..let's change a bit..i managed to finish up watching dark, thriller, fiction kind of movie..in fact is a jmovie..and all the above is in one movie..(actually it was three..because there's a continuation from the previous one)..

jmovie - Death Note..watching it made my heart anxious and can't wait to know what happens next..this is a truly dark and thriller type of movie..but i guarantee that you will not be bored at all..SERIOUSLY..i didn't manage to catch it at the cinema..but i do heard that it was quite and interesting story..so i took the chance to watch it..and..i'm not dissapointed at all..

story begans when Light Yagami discover a book called Death Note..and whoever's name written in it will be killed..upon touching the Death Note, his can view the shinigami (ripper) named Ryuk who loves to eat apple..story evolved on how Light used Death Note for a greater good (which he claim of doing) which later on makes him addicted to it and started killing people that he thinks will harm his secret identity as Kira..he even killed his girlfriend in order to protect his identity..in this first movie also..we will get to know L..the man who will be hunting Kira and stop all the wrongdoings that Kira is doing..

Since both Chiaki and Nodame have a secured place to study abroad..

this series continue from there on..
for this Nodame Cantabile Special..
the love betwenn both of them began to bloom and Chiaki realized his own feelings towards Nodame..
a special jdrama of this series which is not to be missed..
in this drama it shows on Chiaki's journey in world conductor competition (which he won first place btw)..Nodame first recital wearing

among special character in this special series are..
two of their friends..a French Otaku..and also a Russian girl who love being on up to date with fashion (since they're leaving in Paris!!)which somehow doesn't suits her well..

how do you feel upon hearing Classical Music..and the classical music is being played in an orchestra..
watching this jdrama : Nodame Cantabile makes me fall in love with classical musical and orchestra too..
the sound of the music blasting through the computer speaker..was enough to make my heart stunned..i wonder how'll my expression be..if i were to hear it live in action..

Nodame Cantabille is a story about a girl (Nodame) who is very talented in piano..one day..she came across her senpai (Chiaki senpai) (Japanese word for senior) in front of her door step..feeling rather shocked..(this is because..senpai is a very popular guy in school)she brought the senpai in her room..while he is recovering from the after effect of drinking..the story also about how both of their maturity level grows as the story goes on..overall..i like to watch this movie..it reminds you about the relationship with other human being rather than centering yourself alone..

continuation from Gokusen post..

so..the series continue with it's second season, Gokusen 2..Yankumi have a new sets of students at a different school..but same scenario was still the same..she's still become the homeroom teacher for a bunch of delinquent students..and she stills had to hide the fact that she's from Yakuza family member..

with a new set of student..this jdrama, Gokusen 2 is still interesting as ever...as of the previous season, i also have my favourite student in Gokusen 2..it was no other than Kamenashi Kizuya playing the role as 'Odagiri Ryu' and also Akanishi Jin playing the role as 'Yabuki Hayato'..other than that, Kame also was the one who sang the insert song for this second season..entitled Kizuna..

so..since my previous post is on the upcoming of one of my favourite jdrama series Gokusen..it is fair if only i post on the previous season of Gokusen..

watching this type of jdrama will always flame up my ambition of becoming a teacher when i was young..(but still..deep in my heart..i can still picture myself of being a teacher..)synopsis on Gokusen 1:

The plot involves Kumiko Yamaguchi, the granddaughter of a Yakuza boss. Her parents died when she was younger, and her grandfather has no other descendants, so Kumiko is next in line to head the family business with the title of Ojou. However, her lifelong dream has been to become a teacher. While her grandfather approves of her choice, others in the family want her to become the next boss, especially Tetsu, who is secretly in love with her.

Kumiko (known by her students as "Yankumi") becomes a teacher at an all-boys private high school. Her class is full of delinquents, but she tries her hardest to teach them not just about academics, but about lessons of life, much like any "dedicated teacher" story. Though she's forced to keep her family a secret from the public, her Yakuza upbringing gives her the strength and the experience to reach out to her students, while also providing comedic relief.

my favourite student for this season..is 'Sawada Shin' by Matsumoto Jun..but i also have my eyes on 'Uchi' by Oguri Shun..Sawada Shin is such a mysterious boy..a rebellious but yet the most brilliant student of the entire school.

my recommendation..if you love jdrama full of emotions, passion and love the high school scene, love GTO (another great drama on teacher)..you should give Gokusen a try..you would not be dissapointed..heck..this drama is also on the top 50 on jdorama list.it's no. 2 on the list.first is GTO.that's a strong reason to start watching it isn't it?

Gokusen jdrama is drama about a life of a female high school teacher..
she is not any usual female teacher that we normally have..
why?because she is the granddaughter of Japan's biggest Yakuza (it is like mafia, powerful and a very violence group in Japan)..being the granddaughter and also the only heir to her family Yakuza throne..she was very well respected and feared among other Yakuza group..but despite that, she was very determined to be a teacher..so..she has to really cover up her family background..or risk being thrown out of the school..what i really like most about this drama is how she is very passionate about her responsibility of being a classroom teacher..and she would just about anything in order to protect her students..

Witch Yoo Hee has finally ended at 8tv..
now it is airing a new korean drama series entitled Coffee Prince a.k.a The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince..
i'm looking forward to watch this series..
rating and comments on this kdrama are overall good.
besides..you can also watch Bigoong mama acted as a tomboy..
(Bigoong mama is Chae Gyung of Goong, her real name is Yoon Eun Hye)

all in all..it's an interesting story to watch..
thinking a girl is a boy..and having a hard time trying to figure out your feeling..
then, try to accept it as it is and confess to him..
but later on, finding out that he's a she..
you must felt outrage..anger flaming in your heart thinking that you been played..
your heart has been toyed around..
but..luckily this story has happy ending..
a part of Han Kyul..somehow is very glad that Eun Chan is girl..(well..he should be..this prove that he's not a gay..hehehe..)

The life of Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. There's a new series in town..
how come i don' t realize it?
a quick browse at 8tv website..my eyes was caught with a snippet of this story..
Ghost, right now it is showing in 8tv..every Sunday 10.00pm..This week it's airing episode 5..

i forgot to mention..this is a local drama..from Malaysia..

don't worry if you miss it on tv..you can still watch it at 8tv website (like i am)
anyway here's the synopsis :

Ghost a whodunit with a twist - a girl tries to solve the mystery behind the death of a famous movie star- a star that she has always admired but hardly knows. So, why is she doing it? Is it because the ghost of the star she admires is telling her so? this part supernatural thriller, part romantic comedy blends different elements for an explosive mix.

happy watching people!!from the first 4 episode..everything is good..and i'm going to continue to watch it..it seems that this series is something worth watching..

great news for those who can't get enough of Joo Ji Hoon (JJH) or Prince Shin Goon of Goong..
you can watch him in this 2007 kdrama - The Devil..

but beware..JJH will be evil in this kdrama..(from what i have read..so be prepared!!)
just managed to watch the first episode of this kdrama and don't know what to expect from it..

this kdrama, without any doubt is my all time favourite!!
i really heart this kdrama very much..
i recommend this drama to be on your top list to watch if you are new with kdrama..

the story is about a commoner marrying royal prince because of the promise that was made by both of the grandfather of the bride and groom to be..the story evolve on the commoner's life around the Palace and how their love bloom from hate to love..

the name itself can give you the genre of this kdrama..
it's a romantic comedy..

i really love the way Sam Soon first meet up with Jin Hun..she met him in the toilet where..she accidentally enters men's room..the best part is...the cake that Sam Soon bakes will always makes your mouth waters...ah...it's so delicious!!!

The story revolves around a 29 to 30 year old girl called Kim Sam Soon, single and overweight, who is the third daughter of a rice mill owner. She doesn't have a college degree although she is a patissier with a Le Cordon Bleu certification.

a newly kdrama series Witch Yoo Hee a.k.a Yu Hee, The Witch..english name for this series is Witch Amusement. Right now it is being aired at 8tv from Monday - Friday 8.30pm - 9.30pm..
but..sadly..the audio subs is in Mandarin..why don't they just aired them in Korean?
but nevertheless...i still find myself being glued to the tv despite the audio subs..hehe..

with so many familiar faces, two actor that you can drool on (definitely Kim Jeong Hoon and Dennis O'Neil)..this kdrama is not to be missed..besides..from all the reviews that i've come across online..they all give a very positive comment on this kdrama..so..let's give it a try!!
