At 39 Weeks, 3 Days along, Kerry was scheduled to be induced in order to give birth to her second little boy, Max. All day, Kerry and Dan recorded their progress and their thoughts on how this experience compared to their first with Jack, almost two and a half years ago. After 12 hours in the hospital and just 27 minutes of pushing in labor, Max finally arrived! Listen to all the moments throughout the day as Kerry and Dan await the arrival of their second little boy, until they could finally say - once again - It's Baby Time!

It's been 39 weeks, just about a true full term, and our baby boy has finally arrived!

Here on the final pregnancy episode of Baby Time, join Kerry and Dan as they bring you the sounds of labor and delivery - from Dan's late night thoughts on the 17th as he waited to bring his wife to the hospital, to the hours of waiting on the 18th for something to happen, right up to the thrilling, life-changing first appearance of Jack in the delivery room.

Yes, it's only Week 38, but given the size of the already big baby and Kerry's continual blood pressure concerns, the time may be right for Jack to arrive. That means the doctor may induce Kerry when she and Dan visit the hospital once again, so when they return home, they may be parents! In the meantime, Dan has been stressing over the final chores, but the truth is that the house is ready. Are Kerry and Dan?

Baby Size Update: over 20 inches long, weighing over 8 pounds.
According to BabyCenter, the average baby is 19 to 20 inches long and about 7 pounds.

Week 37: Crossing the Bar

As Week 37 arrives, we are blessed to know that Kerry's pregnancy has officially reached full term, meaning that if born today, baby Jack would have a great chance at making it on his own.

However, there was concern this week as Kerry's blood pressure began to increase. Three separate visits to the hospital were necessary, and officials were concerned about the risks of preeclampsia, but luckily, Kerry and Jack are both in excellent health.

It is with a heavy heart that we podcast tonight. Just when a pregnancy is nearing its critical conclusion, you hope to keep the mother-to-be as calm as can be. However... After a long illness, Kerry's father Warren passed away today. The entire family was already together watching over him. Tonight, we know he is watching over us.

Rest in peace, Dad.

It's Week 36 and we're now less than a month away from Kerry's due date. Soon enough, Jack will be here but first Kerry and Dan have to finalize a birth plan and discuss it with their doctor, the appointments are now weekly, and Dan has a whole lot of baby laundry to do.

It's Week 33 and Dan and Kerry wrap up their busy week and weekend by recording this week's show while resting in bed. We recap Kerry's battle with swelling, back pain, constant thirst, and impatience. Dan continues to find himself sleeping in the guest room half the time, and while his stage show has finished its run, that doesn't mean their weekends will be free now. Also, finding shoes and socks that Kerry will be comfortable in for the remainder of the pregnancy remains an important task.

Kerry's problems with swelling in her feet and ankles really hit in Week 32, now that the baby is bigger and kicking more than ever. She's trying to deal with it as best as she can, but it would be nice to find socks, shoes, and some other clothes to get her through the rest of the pregnancy. Meanwhile, Dan has found himself sleeping in the guest room or on the couch more often because of Kerry's snoring. And that's the last time he'll mention it to her. :)
