Wang Yihan took on Wang Lin in the French Super Series badminton tournament in the women singles event. It is a match of the top two ladies player from China with Wang Yihan being the current world number 1.

Should be a good match to watch. People always complain that same players from the same country is always a dull match but world class players from the same country is not that dull where you can learn new tricks and skills from the world’s best in the game.

Oh yeah, some supporters were asking how come i am using Youtube of late? The reason was simple. Remember the other day when all the videos were down? The hosting company were complaining that it took too much of CPU once again but they were kind enough not to take the whole site down.

In the future, i will use a mixture of Youtube and Flash Videos on the site so that it won’t use that much of resources and CPU.

This is finals of the World Junior Championship 2009 of the men doubles badminton tournament which was held in Malaysia. Chooi Kah Ming & Ow Yao Han took on another Indonesian pair of Berry Anggriawan & Muhammad Ulinnuha in the finals.

This match is full of drama. Even it’s only a junior event but the stadium is really lively with all the shouting, cheering and jeering. As you know, Indonesia and Malaysia has a big rivalry in badminton.

Junior level or senior level the rivalry between Malaysia and Indonesia is so intense. Nice to see Bambang coaching the Indonesian Juniors and they are really doing great.

Anyway enjoy the match of the finals. To all my Indonesian fans, Jangan marah ya… ^^

The match where most of you are waiting for! Lin Dan took on Taufik Hidayat in the French Open 2009 men singles finals badminton super series event.

It has been a long time since this two players met in a finals as Lin Dan does not appear quite often in the world badminton scene as he chooses his tournaments. Meanwhile, Taufik had trouble winning tournaments even without the likes of Lin Dan and Chong Wei.

So this is a match where most people and badminton lovers would love to see. Match of two super great champions in badminton. Enjoy the finals and i am sure you will enjoy it as much as i do!

Chooi Kah Ming & Ow Yao Han of Malaysia took on top seed Angga Pratama & Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto in the World Junior Championship 2009 badminton tournament.

The Malaysian are the 3/4 seed while the Indonesian pair is the top seed for the tournament. Kah Ming & Yao Han will be looking to make the finals and will want to do it in front of their home crowd.

Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong made their second consecutive finals in the Super Series calendar. After winning the Denmark Open, they will be looking to add the French Super Series into their collections.

Waiting for them is the Olympic champions Markis Kido & Hendra Setiawan. The Indonesian have had a up and down campaign in 2009 due to injuries.

What i like about Kido and Setiawan most is that they don’t like to make excuses whenever they loose and they always made their badminton do the talking. That’s the true attributes of champions.

Can Koo and Tan make a double or Kido & Setiawan put a full stop in their march?

Taufik Hidayat took on Peter Gade in the French Open 2009 Super Series badminton tournament. It is in the men singles semi finals where the two great champions face off.

Both are on the twilight of their careers but they are not going down without putting up a good show. I reckon the next Olympic in London will be the last for both of them.

Anyway we shall not talk about retirements but we shall stay focus on the match where two great champions play. This is our first match that we brought to you from France 2009 and i hope i have a few more to share with you badminton lovers out there!

I picked Marc Zwiebler picture for this post to give him credit for doing well in the Denmark Open 2009. Nobody expected him to feature in the finals but he managed it.

Along the way, Marc Zwiebler defeated Wong Choong Hann, erratic Hafiz Hashim, Chen Long and Sony Dwi Kuncoro. A great feat by a German player.

Anyway, Marc Zwiebler had to face Simon Santoso the up and coming star of badminton from Indonesia. Can he make history by being the first German player to win a Super Series event? Stay tune to watch it.

The most exciting match of the Denmark Open 2009 must go down to the men doubles event. Koo Kien Keat & Tan Boon Heong took on Mathias Boe & Carsten Mogensen in the badminton finals.
