Shank is a 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up developed by Klei Entertainment. It features melee and ranged combat. It was announced at Penny Arcade Expo 2009. The game was released on the 24th August 2010 for PlayStation Network, 25th August 2010 for Xbox Live Arcade and was released on the PC on October 26th 2010.

Playing as Shank, players must travel on a 2D plane through each level defeating enemies in their path. Three buttons are respectively used for attacking with knives, a chainsaw and one of various guns, which can each be combined into various combos. Players are also able to leap onto or grapple enemies, as well as throw grenades.

This is the 10th edition of the franchise, featuring a vast array of all-new features. Hundreds of improvements to the game have been made across the board with a special focus on its core areas. Introduced last year it also includes a separate online mode where up to 8 players can play against each other over the internet.

The manager still has full control over the management of a football club. In the game you are responsible for the line-up, the tactics and the training of your team – as well as for signing the right players, improving the club facilities and the stadium. Special highlights are the FIFA 3D engine, more than 13,000 original player pictures, the player manager mode, the national team manager mode, the Create-a-Club mode and the Match Prognosis Tool.

For several years we had the problem that we could not fully take advantage of the available 0-99 level system in FIFA MANAGER. If we wanted a world class players like e.g. Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to reach a level beyond 90, almost all attributes had to be significantly increased, since the improvement of only some attributes wouldn’t have been enough to reach the desired level.

However, even the best world class players have weaknesses. Messi, for example has rather moderate header skills (not excluding important goals), mainly due to his size (he is only 5 foot 7). Since we wanted to make full use of the level system and further improve the gameplay in FIFA MANAGER 11 we decided to edit the existing level system. In the past, only the sum of all single abilities decided over the level of a player. From now on, three decisive factors come into play:
