Another Baller Basketball season is right around the corner. We are excited about the sports ministry opportunities ahead with our church partners leagues and camps.

Each season our church packages come with newly designed promotional brochures and posters, player gear and material, coordinator, coach, and referee playbook guides, and volunteer t-shirts. The 2012-13 season packages will include the launch of our first edition of Baller Magazine. The magazine will include sport related articles, news, and life lesson devotions.

Baller Action is launching a youth league for BMX and Skateboard riders at Sandals Church in Riverside, CA.

LEAGUE SUMMARY
8 week sessions (once a week, Saturday’s 9am-11am, April 28-June 16).
Riders are on sport-specific (BMX or Skate) team and led by a coach.
Sessions include warm-up, skill development, and life lesson devotions.
League ends with a contest.

Cost: $50 per rider.

Interested riders fill out brochure (parent signature/date, contact info, circle gear sizes).
Tear off League Information portion (right side of brochure) for your records.
Turn in main brochure and fees (cash or check, make checks out to Sandals Church) to League Coordinators and or Frontside Youth Ministry staff at Sandals Church.
Coaches will notify you about your team and schedules.
League open to anyone in the community and to all skill levels.

Baller Action is producing a BMX and Skateboard event at Sandals Church. The action sports event is called Air Raid and will be apart of a Trunk-n-Treat night on October 31, 5:30-8:00 PM.

Air Raid will be followed by another show geared toward youth and then a league. We are excited about launching Baller Action with our first host, Sandals Church.

Baller Basketball is designed for the local church to run youth sports ministry leagues and camps. We offer an age appropriate league, skill development and competition, spiritual life lessons, quality gear and material, and step-by-step staff support for league coordinators and coaches.

The league material is flexible for middle school and high school age groups. All participants can sign up as a team, with a coach, or as an individual, who then will be placed on a team. Ideally, a coach from your church will team up with a few youth aged players and then invite other friends from the community.

Player packages for the next season include a reversible jersey, life lesson booklets, and a strapped backpack. Baller Basketball t-shirts will be provided for coaches and league coordinators.

All coaches and league coordinators will be supplied with training and operation play books to aid with running the league. We ask that each church be willing to follow the commitments associated with being a part of a Baller Basketball League.

In addition to the play books, you will be supplied with marketing posters, sign-up brochures, and additional forms to operate your league and to communicate with us, Baller Athletics.

Baller Basketball is teaming up again with Arrowhead Christian Academy for a Men’s Basketball League.

When: August 28 – Nov. 6 (9 weeks + 2 weeks of Playoffs)

Who: 21+

When: Saturday nights (schedules TBA)

Families were thankful for the quality camp and player packages we offered. We are looking forward to next summer as we continue to grow and impact ball players life’s on and off the court.

Baller Athletics will be producing a BMX and Skateboard Show for the Cabazon Fair on May 15th.

The fair will be from 10 am – 2 pm at James Venable Community Center (50390 Carmen Avenue. Cabazon, CA 92230).

We will have two shows with BMX riders and two shows with skateboarders.

Admissions to the fair is free and we will be throwing out a few t-shirt’s, so come check us out and spread the word.

The first season of Baller Basketball at Crestwood Baptist Church, Kentucky comes to end. The team above went undefeated for the league play as well as the tournament.
