Banjos Rule University: banjo tablature sucks! I quit!

Banjo tablature is a wonderful tool that can really aid your learning, but tablature too often can be frustrating. Sometimes, it's hard to make the song sound like the song as you play what's in the tablature. It might be because the tablature wasn't written well, or it might be that you aren't interpreting something right. No matter what, I have some thoughts on learning with tablature in general, and one song specifically. It's a song I taught during my Banjos Rule 12 Days of Christmas, and my good friend and blog reader George Preiss struggled with it a bit in one little section. Click into the article to learn more.
