8" galaxy bunch alpha ultimate diy edition

michael kwong created this taipei exclusive 8" galaxy bunch character. sold out in ttf, he kept one for us and even signed it!!!
must say that i am amazed by the articulation of the character which gives it a unique sense of movement.

the head can be rotated 360 degrees left-right but can also look up and down. the hands have three point of articulation but the elbows and wrists can move freely in any direction!!! of course the legs are articulated as well.
to be honest, i've never seen this kind of free movement in a platform vinyl figure. i think that this will serve as a great base for customizers.

i 'm sure that michael has some designs ready for manufacturing, cause i 'm not so much of an artist :(

in the meantime he 's probably busy with his second series of figures, called alphamaniac.. coming in september.

looks like amos kept this a secret. first unveiled @ sdcc08, the almighty king ken gets his mini me alter ego :)
probably sold as a blind assortment, definitely one of the highlights of the exhibition.

the golden one is probalby an exclusive for the sdcc08. would sure like to se a full size golden king ken!!!
