Hail MacPhail! It is obvious he has command of the Orioles as he builds for the future. Scott Moore is a solid part of that future and his bat, power, talent and versatility at several positions will work him into a permanent postion in the lineup before the halfway point in the season. Scott Moore. HHmmm…. there are three Os in his name…. made for the O’s. Go O’s!

I got a little off topic, my apologies. Perhaps I am just trying to mask the weak start of Huston Street. Thanks for the nice fantasy start Huston.

Let's not forget that Papelbon didn't exactly have a lights out performance either.

Neither closer looked good. I don't know if that has more to do that it's still Spring Training or if it has more to do with this stupid regular season game being played in Japan. Matsuzaka wasn't even close to looking solid either.

I understand Major League Baseball wanting to branch out the game and perhaps repay Japan for us stealing all of their great players but it's dumb.

First HR of the year goes to Ellis. Not exactly the guy I thought would hold that title...

Matsuzaka is a mess so far. Hopefully the A's can get some damage done here.

After the homer, Matsuzaka has walked a guy, hit a guy, and walked another. The A's have the bases loaded with just one out and Bobby Crosby at the plate with the chance to open it up early.

To be honest, I was going to pick Verlander for my AL Cy Young but I didn't want to copy your picks fully.

As for the Mets, they have a lot of question marks but I don't know just how much I buy into the other teams in the league. Our Braves have the potential to win the division, but at the same time I don't like to jinx my own team with predictions or expectations.

That NL West winner is tough to predict but I think the 1/2 of Webb/Haren will come out on top. There are many Cy Young candidates in the NL too. Tough to just pick one. We have Peavy, Haren, Webb, Santana, Sheets (if he'll EVER be healthy again, who knows?), Zambrano, Smoltzie, Hudson, Hamels...the list can go on and on. I'm not sure where everything's going to fall into place, but hey, who's predictions are ever correct?

I hope my NL predictions are way off ;)
