Yesterday I was watching this on HBO and was stuck with it.  It is a great movie for its teaches a lot of things about family, work, friendship, love, happines, generally life itself.   Pursuing your goal and finding one’s self, effect of loneliness and how important are the role of your love ones and everybody around you and the whole normal system that we live in to be there existing so that we could share the things we like.  And I think this is also the main basic and fundamental reason why we live in this world. A must see movie, exciting and disturbing.

Here is a brief synopsis of the movie: ( from IMDB)

A young man leaves his middle class existence in pursuit of freedom from relationships and obligation. Giving up his home, family, all possessions but the few he carried on his back and donating all his savings to charity Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch) embarks on a journey throughout America. His eventual aim is to travel into Alaska, into the wild, to spend time with nature, with ‘real’ existence, away from the trappings of the modern world. In the 20 months leading up to his Great Alaskan Adventure his travels lead him on a path of self-discovery, to examine and appreciate the world around him and to reflect on and heal from his troubled childhood and parents’ sordid and abusive relationship. When he reaches Alaska he finds he has been insufficiently prepared for the hardships to come. Despite making it through the winter his plan is ill-judged and prepares to return home in spring, only to find the stream he crossed in the snow has become an impassable raging torrent and that he is trapped. With no means of sustaining himself adequately he takes to eating berries and fauna, that he identifies using a book. Unfortunately, he awakes one morning to find that the berries he consumed the night before were in fact poisonous, and causes him to starve in his so sought after isolation. Throughout his epic journey the people he meets both influence and are influenced by the person he is and bring him to the eventual and tragic realisation that “Happiness is only real when shared”.

These was shot at a family dinner in Shang and these are how kids do the jump shot featuring Wacky and Sam.  Photos were taken by my brother.  I guess you have to click the cam fast because kids just jump so high.. LOL.. but you could see their effort, right? See more of their jump shots below.

Man’s sperm consists of X & Y spermatozoa, X spermatozoon decides the female whereas Y is the male. Referring to these physiological properties of the spermatozoa, gynecologists set up the theory of ‘Choice of a girl or a boy’.

1st factor: Food
If you want a baby girl: Husband must eat more alkaline food, wife eats more acidic food. If you want a baby boy: Husband eats more acidic food, wife eats more alkaline food. Alkaline food: vegetables, fruits, egg white, milk, algae, etc. Acidic food: meat, seafood, etc.

2nd factor: Timing (When to do it?)
If you want a baby girl: Frequent copulation during pre-ovulation period. If you want a baby boy: Copulating just before ovulation or just after ovulation. How to confirm ovulation period: Body temperature increases (you may want to use SPC chart to monitor your body temperature here).

3rd factor: Penetration (How to do it?)
If you want a baby girl: Husband to avoid deep penetration in the female vagina during copulation. If you want a baby boy: Deep penetration by the husband is suggested.

If you want a baby girl: Wife should avoid stimulation during copulation.  Secretion from female vagina becomes alkaline when stimulated, therefore this promotes the activity of Y spermatozoon. If you want a baby boy: Husband ejaculates after wife has been stimulated.

5th factor: Wife’s Preparation
If you want a baby girl: Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of white vinegar in 1 liter of water. Since an acidic condition decreases activity of Y spermatozoon. If you want a baby boy: Rinse the vagina with solution dissolving 2 spoonfuls of soda in 1 liter of water.

6th factor: Positioning
If you want a baby girl: Female to be on the top position & male to be on the bottom position. If you want a baby boy: Male to be on the top position & female to be on the bottom position. This posture allows the Y spermatozoon to reach the destination faster.

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall – she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food – while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the! hospital – (at 6:00pm, Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S*Ask the individual to SMILE.
T*Ask the person to TALK . to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE
(Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today)
R*Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

NOTE: Another ’sign’ of a stroke is this: Ask the person to ’stick’ out their tongue! … if the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke – Also give the individual 2 Aspirins as they will help to thin out there blood…

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call for an ambulance or take him/her to the hospital immediately.

A Filipino walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to the Philippines on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

Remment Lucas Koolhaas born 17 November 1944(1944-11-17)) is a Dutch architect, architectural theorist, urbanist and “Professor in Practice of Architecture and Urban Design” at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, USA. I love Naruto.  I am always expecting the copy of its manga released every friday.  Every issue keeps better and better. Even have lots of images of it for desktop wallpaper and the image above is one of them.

Hmmmm… I am allergic to crustacean food and squid.   Even if I do not know that the food I am eating has one in it, my body lips and tongue will start to numb, my tongue and throat will start to itch, and I will have a hard time breathing.

I love books by Bob Ong.  I have read all of his books and even have a copy of them.  It is just fun reading his books.  He is good in hiding his criticism over his surroundings and putting them on his plot.  Yes we could be laughing at one of his lines but analyzing it makes us realize there is more to it.
