Panasonic Cleansing Brush EH-XC10

I'd like to show you this amazing facial cleansing brush I've been using for the last days. This is my first electric brush and I'm really happy about it because I've been actually wishing to have one for months, but never decided to buy any.

This is the Panasonic EH-XC10 and it's a 3-in-1 cleansing brush because you can use it in 3 different ways: a soft brush for a gentle cleanse, a smaller silicone brush for the pores and a warming plate for makeup removal.

On the picture above you can see the brush more in detail and the accessories.

The right end of the main body is the warming makeup removal plate that helps loosen and remove makeup easily. You can choose between 43 degrees or 48 and it starts to warm up, then apply your usual makeup remover on the face or on the plate and begin moving it around your face for about 3 minutes (it stops automatically after that time). That's all, very simple and easy to use.

The bigger brush you see on the picture is the soft one to use daily. Also very simple to use, add foaming cleanser and water to the brush, press the switch (normal or soft), wait a couple of minutes for the foam to appear and then move the brush around your face. It's recommended to clean your face in three different sections for about 20 seconds each (the brush will make a pause every 20 seconds and then stop after 1 minute). Finally you just have to rinse your skin with water and you're done!

The smaller brush is a pore-targeting silicone brush. This one is recommended to be used max. twice a week right after the soft brush, while you still have foam on your face and only on some areas such as the nose and chin.

And the accessory you see between the brushes is a measuring cap to add water (appox. 4ml is all you need).

On the last picture I wanted to show you the rear part of the brush, that opened compartment is where you add the cleanser (the water must be poured into the center of the soft brush). After every use you must rinse that compartment with water, very easy.
You can also see the socket cover there too.

What I like about this brush is that it's very easy to use, it makes much foam with only a small amount of cleanser and water, it's also fast (you are ready in one minute), it actually cleanses better than handwashing and you can use it in three different ways and also while taking a shower. Oh and I find the stand very nice and practical to store the main body and the accessories.

Nevertheless there are a couple of negative points about it. One of them is the fact that you cannot clean your eyes, neither with the soft brush nor with the warming plate, so you have to do that some other way... Another thing is that you have to be careful with your skin, you shouldn't use the brush more than once a day or apply it for a long period on the same area, otherwise you can irritate your skin (so I guess it's not so gentle to the skin).

But all in all I really like this Panasonic facial cleansing brush and I'm sure it will become an important part of my daily skincare routine.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules

I'm trying at the moment the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules, do you already know them? It's a daily youth facial serum that provides triple anti-aging power for visibly firmer, smoother and healthy-looking skin.

The highlight about these capsules is the Ceramide Technology, which has the power to help replenish and restore the ceramides your skin loses with age. It strengthens the skin's moisture barrier layer with what it needs for a youthful-looking appearance.

The serum comes inside capsules, in my case I have the 60-capsule package. They deliver a single, concentrated dose of youth-restoring ceramides, are biodegradable and preservative and fragrance free. You just have to twist the tab around and squeeze. I guess each capsule is made for one use, but I think they contain too much serum and I use each one for two days, which I find great because the product is not the cheapest (about 50€).

I've been using the serum for about two weeks now and I like it. It's a bit oily, but it actually gets absorbed very easily after a couple of minutes and it leaves my skin with a nice moisturized feeling. But I have to be very careful not to apply the serum too close to my eyes because it stings! Something I also like about these capsules are the main ingredients, some of the key ingredients are enhanced ceramide lipid complex, botanical complex technology, tsubaki oil, fatty acids, cholesterol, phytosphingosine, sea fennel extract and retinyl palmitate. I'm not going to describe each of them but they are great by increasing the moisturization within the surface of the skin and minimizing the appearance of aging signs.

I would truly recommend this serum, although I'm not sure how it works on oily skin, mine is dry and this is perfect for me. It leaves my skin more radiant, softer and with a much better appearance.

I also have two samples of the eye serum, which is basically the same but for the eyes. It's supposed to reduce crow's feet, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as the puffiness, and to improve the firmness, elasticity and skin texture. I don't have an opinion about the eye serum yet because I haven't tried it. Anyway with only two samples I'm not sure if I will be able to say much, but if it's as good as the facial serum then it's worth it!

Salthouse Totes Meer Therapie & Luxus

Ahora con el invierno, la nieve, el viento frío en la calle y las calefacciones en el interior, mi piel seca y más bien sensible sufre bastante, por eso es ahora en esta estación cuando busco productos más hidratantes y cuidadosos con mi piel, y este año he encontrado unos que no es que me estén gustando, sino encantando!!! Salthouse Totes Meer Therapie y Luxus.

La base de estos 4 productos es su contenido de sales minerales naturales procedentes del Mar Muerto (Totes Meer), fuente de valiosos agentes activos naturales que ayudan a equilibrar la piel, regenerándola, hidratándola y mejorando su aspecto, además de calmar las pieles secas, sensibles o con problemas.

De la gama Luxus de Salthouse tengo estas dos mascarillas: la Lifting y la Repair.
La mascarilla premium Lifting, además de contener minerales del Mar Muerto, lleva extracto de iris y ácido hialurónico, todo ello para mantener la hidratación de la piel pero también para reafirmarla y afinar las arruguitas, dejando una tez suave y con buen aspecto. Viene en pack de dos x5ml y es de consistencia gel-crema.
La mascarilla de Salthouse Repair por su parte también se compone de un concetrado de minerales del Mar Muerto, pero en este caso combinado con amino-ácidos esenciales y ácidos grasos insaturados que ayudan a aumentar la regeneración natural de las células, para una tez nutrida, suave y más relajada. También viene en pack de dos x5ml y es de textura sedosa.
En realidad aún no he usado ninguna de las dos versiones, pero si son tan buenas como los siguientes productos, os aseguro que son entonces geniales, y con lo que me gustan a mí las mascarillas en esta época me vienen muy bien y me van a encantar seguro, tienen muy buena pinta!

Otra de las cosas que tengo de Salthouse Totes Meer es la emulsión limpiadora que pertenece a la gama Therapie. Es un bote de 200ml que se puede usar para limpiar la cara pero también incluso el cuerpo. No lleva perfumes, ni siliconas, ni parabenes o parafina y, aunque es para piel seca y sensible, también es apta para gente con dermatitis o psoriasis.
Combina minerales del Mar Muerto con sustancias activas hidratantes para una limpieza suave. Contiene extracto de pepino para refrescar y calmar la piel sensible, y también ácidos grasos y de onagra para equilibrar la piel seca aportándole hidratación.
La textura es como la de una leche limpiadora, pero en realidad hay que mojarla un poquito con agua y después aclarar la piel. Sinceramente me encanta, es muy suave y deja mi piel genial, nada tirante o reseca, lo único es que su olor (sin perfumes) no es especialmente agradable y el bote en sí me parece un poco soso/simple, pero la verdad es que es lo de menos.

Y por último tengo la crema hidratante también de la gama Therapie de Salthouse Totes Meer.
Al igual que la emulsión, no contiene perfumes, ni siliconas o parafina y es apta para pieles con dermatitis o psoriasis. También es rica en sales minerales naturales del Mar Muerto como los demás productos, pero en este caso esta crema 24h añade ácido hialurónico para mantener la hidratación de la piel, además de panthenol y vitamina E que regeneran la piel a la vez que refuerzan la barrera natural protectora e impulsan la renovación celular. Además contiene "Defensil" para calmar la piel seca e irritada a causa de picores y rojeces, dejándola relajada, suave y con buen aspecto.
Esta crema me encanta, en mi piel funciona genial, es bastante consistente pero muy ligera al aplicarla, mi piel la absorbe muy muy bien y queda super suave, hidratada y muy bien cuidada, yo estoy encantadísma a pesar de que su olor (que tampoco es mucho) no sea muy bueno. Lo que no me gusta mucho es el bote, es de plástico muy sencillo y a veces me cuesta cerrarlo, pero al igual que la emulsión, es lo de menos ya que su contenido es lo importante.

Como veis estoy muy contenta con estos productos de Salthouse (marca alemana), para mi piel y para ahora el invierno son perfectos, además no son nada caros: la crema son unos 7€, las mascarillas 1€ y la emulsión limpiadora unos 5€, y se pueden encontrar en Rossmann.

Garnier Wahre Schätze "Honig Geheimnisse"

I think this is the Garnier shampoo I like the most from among all I've tried over the years, without a doubt. I'm amazed with this new range of hair care products from Garnier, I've always related Garnier shampoos with Fructis, but now they have made a great decision by launching onto the market this Ultimate Blends collection (in Germany "Wahre Schätze" and in Spain "Original Remedies"), not only the packaging is good but also the contents.

//Creo que de todos los champús que he probado de Garnier hasta hoy, éste es el que más me está gustando sin duda. Estoy sorprendida con la nueva serie de productos para el cuidado del pelo de Garnier, hasta ahora siempre se relacionaban los champús de la marca con Fructis, pero al sacar la nueva colección Original Remedies (en Alemania se llama Wahre Schätze y en UK Ultimate Blends) han acertado por completo, no sólo por la nueva imagen sino también por su contenido.//

I've only tried the Honey Treasures series for the moment (here it's composed of shampoo, conditioner and mask), I can't say much about the others although the basis and philosophy in general of Ultimate Blends is the same: the blend of natural products, paraben free formulas and aimed at the different needs of each hair with their natural ingredients.

The "treasures" used in the case of Honey Treasures are the benefits of honey and beehives to help restoring, nourishing and strengthening the hair damaged by irons, colours and hairdryers (just like mine).
They contain 3 natural ingredients:
- Royal Jelly, rich in nutrients such as vitamin B that regenerates and strengthens.
- Propolis, a natural resin made by the bees that protects the hair.
- Honey, which provides much nourishment and a great scent.

I just can't say anythig negative about this new range. For the moment I feel that these products clean my hair perfectly, they leave it soft and shiny and they smell incredibly good, I love them! Furthermore I like the packaging of all Ultimate Blends, more "vintage" which seems to be in right now, I actually find the image of the classic Fructis shampoos is very average, whereas the image of Ultimate blends looks more valuable, which is nonsense but it actually helps to sell more, they have won me over already! Have you already tried any of the Ultimate Blends??

L'Oréal Perfect Match / Accord Parfait foundation

Have you tried the Perfect Match (or True Match) liquid foundation from L'Oreal? It's not a new product but they have now developed a new formula and added some new lighter tones. There are 9 shades available here in Germany and I have tried 2 of them: 2N Vanilla and 2R/2C Rose Vanilla.

//¿Habéis probado la base de maquillaje Accord Parfait (Perfect Match en Alemania) de L'Oreal? No es un producto nuevo pero le han cambiado y mejorado la fórmula y añadido algunos tonos nuevos más claros. Aquí en Alemania hay 9 tonos y yo he probado dos de ellos: 2N Vanille y 2R Vanille Rose.//

This foundation is supposed to be super blendable and adapt to every skin tone and under-tone giving a homogeneous finish. It also provides 24h of moisture and combines 4 products in one: concealer, primer, powder and foundation, which I find too much promising for a 12€ foundation.

//Esta base se supone que es muy fundente y que se adapta a cada tono y subtono de piel aportando un acabado homogéneo. También proporciona 24 horas de hidratación y combina 4 productos en uno: corrector, prebase, polvos y base de maquillaje, lo que a mí me parece un poco demasiado prometedor para un maquillaje de unos 12€.//

As I said, here in Germany there are 9 shades available and the lighter one is 1.5N Linen. The numbers tell you how dark it is, the more higher the number, the shade is darker. And the letter tells you if the under-tone is neutral (N), cold (C) or warm (W). I have two number 2: one in cold (rose vanilla, on the left in the pictures) and the other one in neutral (vanilla, on the right), and I must say I'm not 100% sure if any of them really matches my skin. I also find it hard for this product to match every skin in general with only 9 shades...
There is also a "shade genius" card (you can see on the pic below) that helps you to find your right tone with an app and your phone, but I haven't tried it as I'm not going to buy more shades of this foundation for the moment.

Yo tengo dos números 2: uno en frío (vanilla rose, el de la izquierda de las fotos) y el otro en neutral (vanilla, a la derecha), y tengo que decir que no estoy 100% segura de si ninguno de los dos se adapta de verdad a mi piel. También me parece de hecho difícil que este maquillaje sea capaz de adaptarse a todas las pieles en general con solo 9 tonos...
También existe una tarjeta "shade genius" (se ve en la foto de abajo) que te ayuda a encontrar tu tono adecuado con una aplicación y tu móvil, pero no la he probado porque de momento no tengo pensado comprar más tonos de este maquillaje.//

I have tried both shades of the same foundation and although I find it ok, it doesn't impress me completely. It's ok for a mid-range foundation but to be honest I have other foundations I like better. This product is quite liquid and blendable, that's true, but it has a kind of powdery /matte finish combined with shiny particles that I don`t like for my dry skin. Furthermore as I said I don't think any of both #2 shades I have really match my skin, and I don't think the lighter tone would be the right either or the darker level 3.

//Pues he probado los dos colores diferentes de este mismo maquillaje y aunque está bien no me termina de convencer. Está bien para ser una base de gama media pero sinceramente tengo otras que me gustan más. Esta base es bastante líquida y es verdad que es muy fácil de aplicar, pero tiene un acabado un tanto empolvado combinado con partículas brillantes que no me gusta mucho para mi piel seca. Además como ya dije creo que ninguno de los dos tonos nº2 me queda bien del todo, aunque tampoco me parece que el más claro me fuera bien, ni el siguiente nivel 3 tampoco.//

You can see above the two shades on my wrist, although I know it's not the same than seeing them on my face and live, the best is to try it yourself directly on your skin. Anyway you can get an idea of how they look like, on the left is the cold shade rose vanilla which is more pinkish, and on the right is the neutral tone vanilla, more beige.

Have you heard about the new Dove DermaSpa collection? Dove defines their new products this way: "Dove has brought our latest advancements in dermatological care to a collection of body products as luxurious as any found at a spa."
Derma Spa is composed of lotions, oils and creams divided in 3 ranges: goodness ("intensiv verwöhnen" in Germany), uplifted+ ("straffend+" in Germany) and summer revived ("sommer revival" in Germany).

DermaSpa está compuesta por lociones, aceites y cremas divididos en 3 gamas: goodnes ("intensiv verwöhnen" en Alemania), uplifted+ ("straffend+" en Alemania) y summer revived ("sommer revival" en Alemania).//

I have two body lotions, one from the goodness range (the gold one) and the other from uplifted+ (the turquoise). Both contain 200 ml and the difference is that the gold one is for dry skin, to moisturise it and leave an even-looking skin, and the turquoise is intended to uplift all types of skin.
All DermaSpa products are enriched with Cell-Moisturisers, which are key moisturizing actives that work at the heart of skin cells leaving them full of moisture. The "goodness" lotion also contains omega oil that transforms dry skin in three ways, for an even-looking, luminous skin that feels velvety soft. On the other hand, the feature of the "uplifted+" lotion is the satin gel texture that moisturises and brings back the skin's elasticity and firmness, even on sensitive skins.

//Yo tengo dos body lotions, uno de la gama goodness (el dorado) y otro de la gama uplifted+ (el turquesa). Los dos contienen 200 ml y la diferencia sería que el dorado es para hidratar y mejorar el aspecto de la piel seca y el turquesa es para reafirmar todo tipo de pieles.
Todos los productos de DermaSpa están enriquecidos con Cell-Moisturisers, que son activos hidratantes que actúan en el corazón de las células de la piel dejándolas llenas de hidratación. La loción dorada (goodness) además contiene aceite omega que ayuda a la piel seca a verse más uniforme, más luminosa y mucho más suave. La característica de la loción turquesa (uplifted+) por su parte es la textura gel satinada que hidrata y reafirma todo tipo de pieles, incluso las sensibles.//

After having tried both lotions, I must say I'm really satisfied with them. I think Dove products are in general very good and these are even better, I love everything about the DermaSpa collection. The packaging is just great, the tubes are made of a smooth and flexible plastic which is also a little transparent in the light, so you can easily see how much products you still have.
Both smells fantastic too, anyway the "goodness" one is suposed to contain vanilla, coconut, musk, etc., while the "uplifted+" smells of water-lillies, cucumber, sandalwood, etc., however I can't notice a big difference between the two fragrances.
About the texture, I find both very soft and light and are very easily absorbed, maybe the turquoise is a little bit more liquid.
I just love both lotions, I can't say much more, I recommend them 100%.

//Después de tener las dos cremas en mis manos y probarlas, tengo que decir que estoy encantadísima, en general los productos de Dove son muy buenos y estos lo son aún más, es que me gusta todo de DermaSpa. El diseño de los botes está genial, son de un plástico suave y flexible y además un poco transparente a la luz, con lo que puedes ver en todo momento cuánto te queda.
Los dos huelen también super bien, lo único es que se supone que el dorado lleva vainilla, coco, almizcle, etc., mientras que el turquesa lleva nenúfar, pepino, sándalo, etc., y sin embargo yo no aprecio la diferencia o muy mínimamente.
Y respecto a la textura las dos son muy suaves y ligeras y se absorben muy rápido, quizás la turquesa es un pelín más líquida pero muy muy poco. Me encantan las dos, poco más puedo decir, las recomiendo 100%.//

Make up Factory Calligraphic Eyeliner and Diamond Stripes Eyeshadow

Here below you can see both products better. The liquid eyeliner is designed for a precise and intensive lid line, it has a calligraphy brush tip for artistic eyelid lines. And the eyeshadow comes with a useful mirror and 5 light shades of colour to create harmonious looks.

El lápiz de ojos en líquido está diseñado para hacer líneas precisas e intensas, tiene una punta caligráfica con la que hacer líneas artísticas en el párpado. Y la sombra de ojos viene con un práctico espejo y 5 tonos combinables para crear looks en armonía.//

This eyeliner is called "calligraphic eyeliner", its brush tip has extra fine synthetic fibres that make it easy to create also extra fine precise lines. If you apply gentle pressure you'll get fine lines, and if you want wider lines you just have to apply more pressure.
It's richly pigmented to guarantee the intensity and a long wear time. The tip is very soft, so the eyeliner is simple and flexible to use.
Mine is brown (a dark brown actually), but you can also find it in black.
By the way, it's free of perfumes and dermatologically approved.

//Este delineador se llama "calligraphic eyeliner", su punta está hecha de fibras sintéticas extra finas que facilitan el crear líneas también extra finas y precisas. Si lo aplicas con una presión suave las líneas serán más finitas, y si las quieres más anchas y marcadas sólo tienes que apretar más.
Está muy bien pigmentado para garantizar la intensidad y una larga duración. La punta es muy suave, por lo que la aplicación es fácil y flexible.
El mío es en el tono marrón (un marrón bastante oscuro), pero también lo hay en negro.
Por cierto que no contiene perfumes y está probado dermatológicamente.//

The eyeshadow is called "diamond stripes" because it contains 5 stripes (levels) of shimmering powder eyeshadows to create different combinations or to use every nuance separately.
The texture is silky and very easy to apply and the product is paraben and fragrance-free.
The eyeshadow I have is n.15 Rosy Copper, the first 2 colours are lighter (almost white and a light soft pink) and the other 3 look very similar (all darker: one is more bronze, the next is pinkish and the last one is more brown). I find them perfect to create many looks and even the first two can be used as highlighters.

//La sombra de ojos se llama "diamond stripes" (líneas de diamantes) porque está compuesta por 5 líneas (niveles) de sombras brillantes para crear diferentes combinaciones o para usar cada tono por separado.
Su textura es sedosa y muy fácil de aplicar y el producto no contiene parebenes ni fragancias.
La sombra que yo tengo es la nº15 Rosy Copper, los dos primeros tonos son más claros (casi blanco y un rosa pastel clarito) y los otros 3 son bastante parecidos (todos más oscuros: uno es más bronce, el siguiente más rosado y el último es más marrón). Me parecen geniales para crear diferentes looks e incluso los dos primeros se pueden usar como iluminadores.//

The blush brush is the pink below, it has a special slanted head that adapts to the contours of the cheeks for a particularly smooth application of blush, it's also ideal for shading and modeling.
The bronzer brush is the mint one, the best brush to achieve a perfect natural-looking glow. Its flat shape and supple bristles capture just enough bronzing powder to ensure a great hue.

More brushes: the darker pink below is the eyeshadow blender brush, it has flat and short bristles, the ideal tool for blending eyeshadow. It ensures a smooth finish in just a few controlled strokes.
The mint one is the precise eyeshadow brush, the rounded and thinner shape of the soft bristles allows a particularly accurate application of powder eyeshadow, perfect for detailed results.

Finally to the collection also belong a brush box and a liquid cleanser.
The cool, bright turquoise box in a cylinder shape is the ideal home for all your favorite brushes. You can keep your brushes all toghether at home or when you’re on the road.
The liquid cleanser is pink and is supposed to remove the makeup residues quickly and easily. You don't need any water, just spray directly on the brush, let work for a couple of minutes and then rub gently with a cloth. What I don't like is that it smells much of alcohol.

El estuche turquesa con forma cilíndrica es muy práctico para tener los pinceles juntos en casa o para llevártelos de viaje. A mí me parece mono y nada caro: 4,50€.
El limpiador líquido es rosa y se supone que se lleva todos los restos de maquillaje rápida y fácilmente. No se necesita agua, sólo aplicar directamente en el pincel, dejar actuar un par de minutos y después frotar suavemente con un paño. Lo que no me gusta es que huele mucho a alcohol, pero de precio está bien: 2,50€.//

There are two more brushes that I don't have but also belong to the collection: an eyebrow comb and a concealer brush.
Do you like this collection? I love the designs and I find all products practical and not expensive at all, all brushes cost between 1,80€ and 3,30€. Furthermore they're all very soft. However I missed a foundation brush.

Rossmann "Schön für mich" beauty box August

Better late than never, here are the contents of the Rossmann "Schön für mich" beauty box that I got in august.

The box came with 11 products, most of them are own brands from Rossmann, actually 9 of 11 are own brands, the other 2 are from Essence.

//La caja venía con 11 productos, la mayoría marcas blancas de la propia cadena Rossmann, de hecho 9 de 11 son de marca blanca y los otros dos de Essence.//

These 3 products above are for summer and beach, one sun block with 30 SPF to use on wet skin (it's waterproof), one after-sun spray with aloe vera and a water spray with aloe vera too.
I haven't tried the first 2 things, in my opinion they should have come in an earlier box and not so late, specially here in Germany where summer ends very soon. The water spray is just simple water (not thermal) with some aloe vera, but I find it very refreshing anyways, I like it!

//Estos 3 productos de arriba son para el verano y la playa, un protector solar con factor 30 para usar sobre la piel mojada (es resistente al agua), un after-sun en spray con aloe vera y un spray refrescante de agua con aloe vera también.
Los dos primeros productos no los he usado, en mi opinión deberían haber venido en otra caja anterior, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta que el verano alemán termina pronto. El spray de agua contiene agua normal (no termal) con un toque de aloe vera, pero me parece igualmente muy refrescante, me gusta.//

I also got a cream for the hair, to prevent split ends, I'm not a fan of this kind of products, I don't think they work, but I'll give it a try anyways.
A peeling shower gel to use once or twice a week, it has bio aloe vera, bio coconut and papaya. It's a soft peeling and smells good.
A perfume called "It's pool time", a refreshing blue scent, it doesn't smell bad, only a bit too sweet for me, but it's that kind of cheap perfumes that I don't usually buy.
And an Essence mascara and nail polish. I forgot to show you the brush, it's wide and big, very common, and the mascara is waterproof, something I appreciate. The nail polish belongs to the gel nail polish collection and it's the number 04 "our sweetest day", a very very light shiny pink, unfortunately I don't like this colour.

//También venía una crema para el pelo para prevenir las puntas abiertas, no soy fan de este tipo de productos pues no creo que funcionen pero bueno, le daré una oportunidad.
Un gel de ducha efecto peeling para usar una o dos veces a la semana, contiene aloe vera bio, coco bio y papaya. Es un peeling suave y huele bastante bien.
Un perfume llamado "It's pool time", es un aroma refrescante de color azul, no huele mal, sólo un poco demasiado dulce para mi, pero es de esos tipos de perfumes baratos que no suelo comprar.
Y una máscara de pestañas y una laca de uñas de Essence. Se me olvidó enseñar el cepillo, es ancho y grande, muy típico, y es además resistente al agua, algo que agradezco. La laca de uñas pertenece a la colección the gel nail polish y es el número 04 "our sweetest day", un rosa muy muy clarito y brillante, un color que no me gusta nada.//

Finally a brush for long hair, with anti-static cling effect in hair and that provides a silky shine. It combines natural and plastic materials and although it's designed for long thick hair, it can be used on all hair types, mine it's not so long at the moment and I like this brush!
A razor with 6 blades, with an oscillating and flexible head. The heads are interchangeables and it comes with a protective cap to take the cartridges with you and a holder for the shower.
The last product is a mango snack: dried mango stripes that contain vitamin E. I must say when you open it, it doesn't smells good and the stripes don't like like the image at all. I'm sorry but I don't like this product, I won't buy it.

I find this box a bit disappointing and not so good as others, what a shame.

//Para terminar un cepillo para pelo largo, con efecto anti electricidad estática y que aporta una brillo sedoso. Combina materiales naturales con otros de plástico y aunque está pensado para pelo pargo y grueso, se puede usar en todo tipo de pelo, el mío ahora mismo no es muy largo y me gusta mucho este cepillo.
Una maquinilla de 6 hojas, con cabezal oscilante y flexible. Son intercambiables los cabezales y viene con una capucha protectora para llevarte el cabezal contigo y un colgador para la ducha.
El último producto es un snack de mango: trozos de mango deshidratado con vitamina E. Tengo que decir que cuando lo abres no huele nada bien, los trozos de mango no se parecen para nada a los de la foto y no, no me ha gustado nada, no repetiría.

Esta caja me ha parecido un poco decepcionante y más floja que otras, una pena.//

p2 - Some like it hot

Some color for the last days of summer!

I know I didn't write on my blog the whole summer, but I was in Spain and I forgot my 2 cameras in Germany so I couldn't do any pictures, yes I had my cell phone but the quality wasn't good enough.
Anyway, here I am again, this time I show you some products that belong to the p2 limited edition "Some like it hot". It's full of colour and inspired by the Miami beaches. It was available in stores for one month in summer.

//Ya sé que no escribí nada en mi blog durante el verano, pero es que estuve en España y se me olvidaron mis dos cámaras en Alemania así que no pude hacer fotos, sí que tenía mi móvil pero la calidad no era demasiado buena para el blog.
Pero bueno ya he vuelto y esta vez os muestro unos productos que pertenecen a la edición limitada de p2 "Some like it hot". Está llena de colores e inspirada en las playas de Miami. Estuvo a la venta durante un mes este verano.//

Do you like these 2 nail polishes? One in blue and the other one in pink. Aren't they "happy" and funny colours? I like them for summer but I must admit they're not colours I'd wear every day.

//¿Os gustan estas dos lacas de uñas? Una en rosa y la otra en azul. ¿No son colores graciosos y alegres? Me gustan para el verano pero tengo que admitir también que no son tonos que yo usaría todos los días.//

A mascara and a lipgloss also belong to the collection. Both in funny colours too. The mascara is blue as you can see and the lipgloss has exactly the same colour as the tube, but once on your lips it's transparent although also very sticky. I don't like the mascara much, I'd wear it maybe for a special party but nothing more. Would you wear it daily?

//Una máscara y un lipgloss también pertecen a la colección. Los dos en colores graciosos. La máscara es azul como se puede ver y el gloss tiene exactamente el mismo color que el tubo, pero una vez puesto es transparente aunque también muy pegajoso. No me gusta mucho la máscara, quizás la usaría para alguna fiesta especial pero nada más. ¿Vosotras la usaríais a diario?//

And the last 2 things are a pocket mirror and a blush with a nice print. I find the pocket mirror a bit cheap and I think I actually prefer to use the blush as a pocket mirror, I like it much better and the colour is also great, furthermore it contains vitamin E and aloe vera.

//Y las dos últimas cosas son un espejo de bolso y un colorete con un impreso muy mono. El espejo de bolso la verdad es que me parece "barato", casi que prefiero usar el colorete como espejo, me gusta mucho más y el color es muy bonito, además contiene vitamina e y aloe vera.//

Rossmann "Schön für mich" Box April

Already in May and I forgot to show you the Rossmann beauty box "Schön für mich" from April, so here it is, a bit late but better than never. This time the box came with 10 great products from different brands: Dove, Essence, Alterra, Max Factor, Gillette Venus, etc.

//Ya estamos en Mayo y se me olvidó enseñar mi beauty box de Rossmann "Schön für mich" de Abril, así que por fin aquí está, un poco tarde, pero mejor tarde que nunca. Esta vez la caja venía con 10 productos de diferentes marcas: Dove, Essence, Alterra, Max Factor, Gillette Venus, etc.//

3 make-up products were inside the box:
- Alterra blush: 01 multi-rose, a blush with pomegranate extract and 4 different tones. It has a peculiar smell but I can't say I don't like it.
- Max Factor mascara: Masterpiece Glamour Extensions, 3 in 1 volumising mascara. Quite similar to the Max Factor Masterpiece Transform mascara, I like it too.
- Rival de Loop liquid eye liner: 01 black, 4ml. I didn't have any liquid eye liner so I'm happy now I have one to try.

- Alterra colorete: 01 multi-rose, un colorete con extracto de granada y 4 tonos diferentes. Tiene un olor peculiar pero no puedo decir que no me guste.
- Max Factor máscara de pestañas: Masterpiece Glamour Extensions, máscara de volumen 3 en 1. Muy parecida a la Masterpiece Transform que ya tengo, ésta también me gusta.
- Rival de Loop eye liner líquido: 01 negro, 4ml. No tenía ningún eye liner líquido así que estoy contenta de poder probar este.//

More useful things:
- Lilibe Cosmetics cotton pads: 35 cotton pads made of 100% cotton. Not much to say about it, it's something that I always have at home. These are very normal, not textured or anything.
- Fuss Wohl gel pads / cushions for shoes: as you can see these are also common pads to use with high heels.

//Más cositas prácticas:
- Lilibe Cosmetics discos de algodón: 35 discos hechos de 100% algodón. No hay mucho que decir, es algo que siempre tengo en casa. Estos son muy normales, sin relieves ni nada.
- Fuss Wohl almohadillas de gel: como podéis ver son unas almohadillas también muy comunes para usar con tacones.//

A perfume and nail products:
- Essential Garden Eau de Parfum: Joyful Rose. A perfume from a brand I didn't know and that smells exactly of roses.

- Dove body wash: Go Fresh Mandarin and Tiare Flower scent, for softer and smoother skin thanks to the NutriumMoisture. It smells nice and it's a great product, as all Dove shower gels.

I've realized I forgot to take a photo of one product, you can see it on the first picture anyway:
- For your Beauty hair bun donut: a hair donut to make perfect buns, this one in light brown. It comes without any information, only a couple of drawings to see how to use it.

Gillette Venus Embrace Sensitive & Snap

Together with the spring and the good weather, Gillette Venus has launched two new products: Venus Embrace Sensitive and Venus Embrace Snap. I'm actually not sure if the first one is new, but at least for me it is, it's a special razor for sensitive skins. And the other one comes in a new compact format with a case to take with you wherever you go. I got them both from the brand to test them together with some discount coupons to use if you buy the 2 products together here in Germany.

//Junto a la primavera y el buen tiempo, Gillette Venus ha lanzado dos nuevos productos: Venus Embrace Sensitive y Venus Embrace Snap. El primero en realidad no estoy segura de que sea totalmente nuevo, pero bueno, para mi lo es, es una cuchilla especial para pieles sensibles. Y en el otro producto lo nuevo es el formato compacto y en estuche para llevar contigo a cualquier sitio.
A mi me han llegado directamente de la marca para probarlos junto a unos cupones descuento de 5€ al comprar los dos productos juntos aquí en Alemania.//

As you can see the Venus Embrace Snap comes in a blue case with holes on the back side to let the humidity go and is very convenient to go on a trip or carry in your bag wherever you go. I find the case a good idea because normally if you try to put a normal razor in a handbag or a toilet bag, you can get hurt by trying to look for something or you can damage other things as the Venus blades don't have any protection.

//Bueno pues como podéis ver Venus Embrace Snap viene en un estuchito azul con agujeritos en la parte trasera para que pueda salir la humedad y es muy práctico para llevar de viaje o en el bolso a donde quieras. Lo del estuche la verdad es que está bien, ya que si intentas llevar una cuchilla normal de Venus así sola en un bolso o neceser es incómodo, pues puede cortar cosas o cortarte tú al meter la mano... (ya que no tienen ningún protector)//

Apart from the case, the other feature is the mini handle, much smaller and round than the normal ones. You can use this perfectly the same as the normal handles but I must admit I find the large handles much comfortable to use, although I understand the interesting thing about Venus Snap is that is portable and you can carry it in your bag on special occasions, so it's ok. Regarding the razor blade, this is the normal from Embrace with 5 blades and a water activated ribbon, but you can use any other as it fits any cartridge, for example I tried the Sensitive one and they're totally interchangeable.

//Además del estuche, su otra característica es la versión mini del mango, mucho más pequeño y redondeado que los normales, la verdad es que se puede usar perfectamente igual que las otras (sobretodo porque las cuchillas son las mismas) pero en mi opinión son mucho más cómodos los mangos largos, aunque la gracia de este formato es que es sólo para llevar contigo en ocasiones especiales así que está bien. Respecto a la cuchilla en este caso es la normal de la gama Embrace con 5 hojas y bandas hidratantes que se activan con el agua, pero se le puede poner cualquier otra, por ejemplo he probado a poner la otra Sensitive y sin problema, son totalmente intercambiables.//

The other razor blade I have is the Venus Embrace Sensitive (in other countries: ProSkin Sensitive) for sensitive skins, or in general to feel less irritation compared to the basic Venus with 3 blades. It comes with the typical handle in light blue, with only one cartridge and at least this one without any shower hook.

//La otra cuchilla que tengo es la Venus Embrace Sensitive (en España: ProSkin Sensitive), para pieles sensibles, o más bien para una sensación de menor irritación en comparación con las Venus básicas de 3 hojas. Viene con el típico mango de Venus en color azul claro, con un solo recambio y por lo menos ésta sin nada para ponerla en la ducha.//

Venus Sensitive has 5 comfort blades spaced closely together to reduce pressure on skin. It also has a protective ribbon of moisture with extra-rich formula (and a touch of aloe vera) for a smooth glide. The first time I used it, I applied a bit of soap because I thought the ribbon wasn't enough, but it ended up so smooth that I had to press as I had the feeling it was doing nothing on my skin and at the end my skin was a bit irritated on an area, just the opposite as what should happen... That's the only thing I didn't like, but it was my fault, I didn't expect it to be so smooth, apart from that, it's a great razor blade.

//Respecto a la cuchilla en sí es de 5 hojas con menos espacio entre ellas para reducir la presión. Además alrededor lleva unas bandas hidratantes protectoras con un toque de aloe vera para un deslizado suave. La primera vez que la probé me eché un poquito de jabón porque pensé que las bandas hidratantes no eran suficiente, pero lo que sucedió es que quedó tan deslizante que tuve que apretar ya que me daba la sensación de que no me estaba haciendo nada y al final sí que me irrité la piel un poquito en una zona, justo lo contrario de lo que se supone que hace... Es lo único que no me gustó, pero quizás fue mi culpa, que no me esperaba que fuera tan deslizante, pero respecto a lo demás está muy bien.//

So these are my new Venus razor blades, I find both very interesting, one because of the compact format and the other one because of the ribbon of moisture and the smooth glide. Nevertheless regarding the Venus Snap, I think they could simplify it all by adding a small cap to all cartridges, I actually have some blades from an own brand that are just so, every cartridge comes with a cap to protect them so you can put them in you bag without damaging anything. but of course the moisturizing ribbons and the blades of Venus are very good.

//Pues estas son mis dos nuevas cuchillas de Venus, las dos me han parecido muy interesantes, una por su formato compacto y la otra por las bandas super hidratantes que mejoran el deslizamiento. Sin embargo respecto a la compacta, creo que se podría simplificar si simplemente les pusieran un mini estuche a todas las cuchillas en sí (la parte recambiable), de hecho tengo unas cuchillas de marca blanca bastante buenas que son así, todos los recambios llevan como una capuchita para protegerlos y así las puedes meter en el bolso o en el neceser sin estropear nada ni cortarte, pero está claro que respecto a las bandas hidratantes y las hojas, las maquinillas Venus son muy buenas.//

Garnier Fructis for more Volume

Have you already tried the Garnier Fructis hair care products for more volume? The name of this series here in Germany is "Prachtauffüller" and is composed of 5 products: shampoo, conditioner, mask, serum and spray.
I really wanted to try them since my hair needs some volume, I usually straighten it and that makes my hair look a bit "flat". It's actually a little stupid, I know, I need to straighten my hair because it's frizzy (not curly or wavy, but ugly) but then it looks boring and flat, so I need two things: one for straight hair and something more for thick hair...

//¿Habéis probado la gama Garnier Fructis "Melena Abundante"? Su nombre aquí en Alemania es "Prachtauffüller" y se compone de 5 productos: champú, acondicionador, mascarilla, sérum y spray.
Tenía muchas ganas de probarlos porque mi pelo la verdad es que necesita un poco de volumen, me lo suelo alisar y eso entonces hace que se quede aplastado. Es un poco tonto, lo sé, lo tengo que planchar porque tengo mucho encrespamiento (no es ni rizado ni ondulado, sino feo) pero entonces se queda como plano y soso, por lo que necesito dos cosas: algo que me lo alise y algo más que le de volumen y gracia...//

The 2 basic products of this series are the shampoo and the conditioner. Both should be used everytime you wash your hair and they smell intense (typical of Fructis), of pomegranate they say, which is ok but I can't say I love it, I have tried other shampoos that smell much better.
They contain (and the rest too) Fybra-Cylane, a molecule that replenish the hair fiber from the inside, and pomegranate extract for a bright and smooth hair.

//Los dos productos básicos de esta serie son el champú y el acondicionador. Ambos son para usar cada vez que te lavas el pelo y los dos huelen intensos (típico de Fructis), a granada dice, lo que está bien pero tampoco puedo decir que me encante, he probado de hecho otros champús que huelen mucho mejor.
Contienen (estos y todos) Fybra-Cylane, una molécula que rellena la fibra capilar desde el interior, y extracto de granada para un pelo brillante y suave.//

As complements you can also buy and use the rest of the products. The mask is for an extra care, as you all know you must apply it on wet hair avoiding the roots, leave for a couple of minutes and then rinse, I use it no more than once a week.
The serum must be used on damp hair, you must shake it, apply one or two pumps and then use the hairdryer and style your hair as usual without rinse. I don't know what this is exactly for, I mean all products say the same (volume, abundant hair, smooth, etc.), I guess to improve the effect even more. I don't use it if I'm not going to use the hairdryer since it says you have to blow-dry it afterwards.
And the last one is a spray for an extra dense finish. This spray should be used on dry hair by applying and massaging with the hands. I think this is more suitable to use when you are styling your hair, I mean if you're doing some hairstyle with volume effect, because it must be used before or while you're doing that, but if you are just going to dry your hair normal then it's repetitive and not essential in my oppinion. Ok I'm not fan of hairsprays because I always have that feeling that my hair gets dirty, so I'm not going to use it often, but I also think using the 5 products altogether is too much.

In general these products are ok, if you like Fructis and intense frangrances, these are for you, actually more of the same. Anyway regarding the volumen effect I haven't seen a miracle, the effect must me minimun because I don't see any difference. I do see a difference when I use the hairdryer, but that happens independently of these series. I'm not saying I don't like them, in general I do, but they are nor miraculous.

//Como complementos también podéis comprar y usar el resto de productos. La mascarilla es para un cuidado extra, como todas sabéis hay que usarla sobre el pelo mojado evitando las raíces, dejar unos minutos y aclarar. Yo no la uso más de una vez a la semana.
El sérum es para usar sobre pelo secado con toalla, hay que agitarlo, echar un poquito también evitando las raíces y secar con secador como normalmente sin aclarar. Sinceramente no sé muy bien para qué sirve, quiero decir que dice lo mismo que los demás productos (para volumen, pelo abundante, suave, etc.), me imagino que es para potenciar el efecto y ya. Yo no me lo echo si no voy a usar secador, ya que dice que hay que secar el pelo después.
Y por último está el spray que es para un acabado extra denso. Se tiene que usar sobre el cabello seco aplicandolo y masajeando con las manos. Creo es más para usar cuando estás haciendote un peinado con efecto volumen, pues dice que hay que aplicarlo antes o durante este proceso de peinado, pero si simplemente te vas a secar el pelo normal sin ningún peinado especial me parece que es repetitivo y prescindible. Vale, es verdad que no soy muy fan de los sprays porque me dan la sensación de ensuciarme el pelo, así que no lo voy a usar mucho, pero es que también me parece que usar los 5 productos a la vez es exagerado.

En general esta gama de Fructis está bien, si te gusta la marca y los aromas intensos es para ti, son de hecho más de lo mismo. Sin embargo respecto al efecto de volumen no he visto ningún milagro, debe ser mínimo ya que no he visto mucha diferencia, en realidad sí que veo diferencia cuando uso el secador, pero independientemente de los productos que use en el pelo. No digo que no me hayan gustado, en general sí, están bien, pero no son milagrosos.//

Basic Spring Outfits

Yes, the spring is finally here and I can't wait for the sunny and warmer days to come. I have already in mind what I want to buy and wear for the next months, and here is some inspiration: two basic outfits I've created and that sum up my favourite styles.

The first one is an outfit in soft tones: accessories in beige, a top in pastel pink and a multicolour jacket, all pieces to combine with jeans, the basic item par excellence. I don't know why but beige is a colour I always connect with spring, and it's actually for example very common to find beige ankle boots at stores in this season. What I like the most from this outfit are the bucket bag and the hat, both from Esprit (here and here), the same as the rest of the items.

The second outfit is in navy style, always a must for spring/summer. This is a mix between chic and casual and full with trendy items: a short trench in dark blue, again a bucket bag in navy style and white snikers to accompany the skort (shorts that look like a skirt on the front) and the basic white lace tshirt. The Esprit scarf and the sunglasses give the final touch. Again my favourite item is the bag together this time with the skort (here and here)! Do you like them? SBC collagen 3in1 cleanser

Today I want to show you a facial cleanser that I've recently discovered and has surprised me positively: the SBC collagen 3in1 cleanser.

SBC stands for Simply Beautiful Collection, this is a british beauty brand with many years of botanical know-how that sells deeply moisturising skin care products made with natural ingredients.

This cleanser comes in a set (the product itself and a pink shammy) and has a versatile and effective triple action: it removes all traces of make-up, dirt, oil and impurities, it exfoliates mildly and it leaves a softer, smoother and brighter complexion.
Like the rest of the SBC products, this one contains many natural ingredients too, some of them are: soluble collagen, cocoa butter, shea butter, passion flower seed oil, kukui seed oil, papaya seed oil and vitamin E. And thanks to these ingredients this cleanser is moisturising, nourishing, anti-oxidant, anti-ageing, hydrating, etc.

//Hoy os quiero hablar de un limpiador facial que he conocido hace poco y que me ha sorprendido de manera positiva: el limpiador collagen 3 en 1 de SBC.

SBC significa Simply Beautiful Collection, es un marca de belleza británica con ya unos cuantos años de conocimiento botánico que vende productos de cuidado para la piel muy nutritivos y con ingredientes naturales.

Este limpiador viene en un set (el producto en sí y un trapito) y tiene una triple acción: elimina maquillaje, suciedad, grasa e impurezas, exfolia suavemente y deja una tez suave, lisa y más iluminada.
Al igual que el resto de los productos SBC, éste también contiene ingredientes naturales, algunos de ellos son: colágeno soluble, manteca de cacao y de karité, aceite de semilla de pasionaria, de kukui y de papaya y vitamina E. Y gracias a todos estos ingredientes este limpiador es nutritivo, hidratante, anti-oxidante, anti-edad, etc.//

To clean your face with the SBC cleanser, you must do a two-step process: first you have to take one or two pumps and massage it on to the dry skin over eyes, face and neck, and then you have to wipe off the cleanser with the damp shammy twice (rinse in warm water and wring out every time).

I love that it's very easy to use, you don't need to wash you face directly with water (you don't even need to dry your skin with a towel afterwards), it really removes all dirt and leaves a soft and smooth skin.
At first I thought it couldn't work just by massaging the product on my dry skin, but it really does, the shammy removes everything and it's also very easy to clean this cloth with water, you just have to rinse it and wring it out a couple of times and it's clean.

//Para limpiar la cara con el limpiador SBC, hay que hacerlo en dos pasos: primero tienes que masajear una o dos aplicaciones del producto sobre la piel seca (incluidos ojos y cuello), y después retirar el limpiador con el trapito húmedo dos veces (mojándolo en agua calentita y escurriéndolo cada vez).

Me encanta que es muy fácil de usar, no tienes que lavar la cara directamente con agua (ni siquiera hace falta secarse con toalla al final), de verdad se lleva toda la suciedad y deja una piel suave.
Al principio pensé que no podía funcionar simplemente con masajear el producto en la piel seca, pero sí que lo hace, la toallita (que es básicamente como una bayeta) se lo lleva todo y además es muy fácil de limpiar el trapo, simplemente mojándolo en agua y escurriéndolo varias veces queda limpio.//

The texture is creamy, it actually reminds me of a mask, also because you have to apply it on dry skin so the feeling is the same. It doesn't irritate the eyes and also doesn't leave a tight skin or that creamy feeling that for example cleansing milks leave.
It's especially recommended for mature, dull and dry skin types, mine it's not mature but it is dry and I find it perfect for me, I'm really happy with it.
It comes in a 250ml bottle and costs about 30€.

//La textura es cremosa, de hecho me recuerda a una mascarilla, también quizás porque hay que aplicarlo en la piel seca por eso la sensación es muy parecida. No irrita nada los ojos y tampoco deja la piel tirante ni esa sensación cremosa que dejan por ejemplo las leches limpiadoras.

These 3 products could be a 3 step routine: they're a pore reducing treatment, a moisturizer and a skin perfector.
You can see the first one on the picture above, the All Over Pore Reducing Serum. It's formulated to refine the look of enlarged pores. This lightweight serum helps unclog and tighten pores visibly reducing their appearence over time. It's oil-free and very light, it absorbs really fast and leaves a silky feeling. You must apply it on clean skin, so I use it after cleaning my face and before the moisturizer.

And the last step is the A-B-C Cream 8h Skin Perfector, an "alphabet cream" that combines the benefits of makeup and skincare in one. A-B-C has actually a meaning: A - age prevention, B - brightening and C - color correcting. Apart from making your skin look better, it also moisturizes and protects your skin with the SPF 30.
I love the texture of this cream too, very light and you don't really have the feeling that you're wearing make-up (I know it's not a foundation, but you know what I mean). Very easy to apply and blend and together with the other 2 products leaves a soft and silky touch on the skin.

Me encanta su textura, muy ligera y no deja para nada la sensación de llevar maquillaje (ya sé que no es una base de maquillaje, pero ya sabéis a lo que me refiero). Es muy fácil de aplicar y extender, y junto a los otros dos productos deja un acabado/tacto suave y sedoso en la piel.//

This A-B-C cream comes in two tones I think (light and medium), I have medium and although you can blur it good and doesn't look too dark, I think for me this is better for summer, for winter I would have better tried the light tone.

So that's all, I'm very happy about having been able to try this brand because it really surprised me in a positive way. What I love is the texture of all 3 products and the feeling/touch on my skin. And what I don't like much is the design, specially I don't like the "cheap" pink plastic jar of the gel cream.
By the way, the 3 products cost about 30€ each.

One thing I love about Valentine's Day is that there are flowers everywhere, beautiful bouquets to buy and if you're lucky enough you receive them too! I love seeing vases with flowers decorating rooms and that combined with the amount of flowers that flooded the last weekend, I got inspired to make a post about decoration and flowers. I just love every single of the following pictures and the bouquets.

The not so good thing about flowers, is that they don't last long so if you want to keep the vases full and not lose that lovely touch the bouquets give to your rooms, you must buy them fresh, which also means often. Luckily in Germany we can buy flowers in many supermarkets, like for example by Lidl, and that's really helpful because that's a place where I go at least once a week. Now I've also discovered they have an online flowers service, you can buy them online by "Lidl-Blumen" and even choose when you want to receive them, absolutely great. Of course, this service is also designed to send flowers to people, you can also buy some bouquets with a little present, such as chocolates, e drink or a coupon from MyDays. I just find it perfect! Yes, the spring/summer season is settling in at Essence and you can already find new products available on stores! I have some of them: nail polishes, lipsticks, a blush and a couple of things for the eyes. They're all new except the mono eyeshadow, but let me show you them one by one.

//Sí, la primavera/verano ya se está instalando en Essence y ya se pueden encontrar sus nuevos productos en las tiendas! Yo tengo algunos de ellos: lacas de uñas, labiales, un colorete y un par de cosas para los ojos. Son todos nuevos excepto la sombra de ojos mono, pero mejor os los voy enseñando uno a uno.//

I have 2 lip glosses and 2 lipsticks. The lip glosses are nude and are joining the family of popular XXXL lipglosses. This new nude range is available in 6 soft shades, mine are the 01 Shy Beauty (the light pink) and 03 Taste the Sweets (the dark pink), both create a fresh look perfect for every occasion.
The lipsticks are also nude, one of the biggest trend of the new season by Essence. Their bestselling lipsticks are now available in 5 nude shades too, I have the 01 Wearing only a Smile (light) and 03 Come Naturally (dark), both have a creamy texture but I like 03 better than 01.

Many nail polishes are also new on stores and of course The Nudes must me among them. As you can see I have 2 from this collection, one in pink (07 hope for love) and one in nearly white (05 pure soul), but there are 10 more colours you can buy.
You can find the most variety of colours in The Gel Nail Polish collection: 46 colours! I have 3: 11 Forever Young (red), 25 Prince Charming (green) and 04 Our Sweetest Day (very light shiny beige). They're supposed to be long-lasting and provide a gel finish. What I don't like about them is that they're very liquid and make the application a bit difficult. And the same happens with The Nudes.
A base coat and a top coat are also among the new products. Their formula improves the durability of "The Gel Nail Polish" collection by 60% without the need for a LED or UV lamp. I like specially the top coat, it drys very quickly and leaves a great finish.

There're also new things for the eyes: mascaras, eyeliners, eyeshadows... I have the Lash Princess false lash effect mascara, which belongs to the Lash Princess family and the brush is slightly bent.
The Easy 2 Use eyeliner pen is supposed to be very accurate and easy to apply thanks to the innovative brush tip. It's only available in black.
The mono eyeshadow is a relauch, the design and the texture have been improved making it easier to apply and blend. They're available in 19 colours (mine is 15 hazel me not!) with different effects (matt, shimmering, slightly metallic...).
And the last product is the Silky Touch Blush, this is actually not new, only the colour is new (90 summer dreaming) a pastel coral which joins the other 5 shades.

//También hay cositas nuevas para los ojos: máscaras, eyeliners, sombras... Tengo la máscara Lash Princess false lash effect, que pertenece a la familia Lash Princess y tiene un cepillo ligeramente ladeado.

Garnier Micellar Water

Hi beauties! I can finally write a new post, this time about the so popular Garnier micellar cleansing water. This is not my first micellar water, I already tried the Nivea Sensitive one, so I can evaluate this one better, I mean I can make at least a comparision.

My Garnier micellar cleansing water is for normal and sensitive skin, there are 3 types (at least here in Germany): for normal, dry and combination skin and the 3 of them are also for sensitive skin. The product comes in a big 400ml bottle (twice the size than Nivea) and is supposed to be enough for up to 200 uses. I find that good and bad at the same time, yes, you have a lot of product but once you open the bottle it "expires" in 6 months, so even if you use it once every day, you can't finish it in 6 months. Well if you use a lot of product every day, then it's ok, but I can assure I won't use it up in less than half a year.

I think everybody already knows what micellar water is, a cleansing product for the face that works like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture and remove all dirt from the skin (impurities and make up) without having to rub. You don't need any water or soap, just some micellar water on a cotton pad, then sweep it across the whole face and your skin is ready for the moisturizer. This one has no perfumes, really, it smells of nothing and the skin feels refreshed afterwards, clean and not parched.

I think I like this Garnier micellar water better than the Nivea I tried before, because it has no smell and because of the final feeling. Anyway there's something I don't like about micellar waters in general, I never get to remove all make up with just one cotton pad, that's impossible: foundation, mascara, eyeliner, etc, etc... I really need more than one and I don't like that. Either I use a cleansing wipe before the micellar water or I wash my face with a gel and then I use the micellar water to clean my face when I have no make up on (e.g. in the morning).

//Por fin escribo un nuevo post y hoy hablo de la tan popular agua micelar de Garnier. No es mi primer agua micelar, ya tuve la de Nivea Sensitive, así que puedo opinar de ésta mejor, es decir, tengo algo con qué compararla.

El agua micelar de Garnier que tengo es para piel normal y sensible, hay 3 tipos (por lo menos aquí en Alemania): para pieles normales, secas y mixtas y todas son además para pieles sensibles. El producto viene en un maxi bote de 400ml (el doble que Nivea) y se supone que dura hasta 200 aplicaciones. Esto es algo que me gusta y a la vez le veo inconveniente, sí, es mucho producto, lo puedes usar sin miedo a terminarlo rápido, pero una vez abres el bote "caduca" a las 6 meses, es decir que ni usándolo una vez al día te lo vas a terminar antes de ese tiempo. Claro, si usas mucha cantidad cada día es perfecto para ti, pero yo estoy segura que no lo voy a terminar en menos de 6 meses.

Creo que ya todo el mundo sabe qué es el agua micelar, es un limpiador para el rostro que funciona como un imán, los agentes limpiadores capturan y se llevan toda la suciedad (impurezas y maquillaje) sin necesidad de frotar. No se necesita agua ni jabón, sólo un poco del producto en un disco de algodón, pasarlo por la piel y ya estaría lista para el siguiente paso (sérum, hidratante...). Éste agua micelar no tiene perfumes, en serio, no huele a nada y deja una sensación fresca en la piel, queda limpia y nada reseca.

Me gusta más este agua que el de Nivea porque no tiene perfume y por la sensación que deja. De todas maneras hay algo que no me gusta en general de las aguas micelares y es que nunca consigo quitar todo el maquillaje con un sólo disco de algodón como dicen, es imposible: base de maquillaje, máscara, eyeliner, etc. etc. Yo necesito más de uno y no me gusta, por lo que o uso primero una toallita desmaquillante o me lavo con algún gel y dejo el agua micelar para limpiar la cara cuando no llevo maquillaje (como por ej. por las mañanas).//

Stella McCartney STELLA Eau de Parfum (2014)

I got this Stella Eau de Parfum (the new 2014 version) a couple of weeks ago, at first I was very happy about it, as it's supposed to be a great perfume from the designer Stella McCartney, but my happiness didn't last too long. Anyway let's tell you first some things about this Eau de Parfum Stella. It comes in 3 different sizes (30, 50 and 100ml), I have the 100ml spray bottle which costs about 98€, this bottle is designed by Stella McCartney and inspired by an amethyst crystal, radiating a shadow of plum hues. I must say it's not really my style, I find it too dark and too angular, I actually like the package better with the golden details.

//Recibí este Eau de Parfum Stella (la nueva versión de 2014) hace unas semanas, al principio estaba muy ilusionada con él, ya que se supone que es un gran perfume de la diseñadora Stella McCartney, pero mi felicidad la verdad es que no duró mucho. De todas maneras os cuento primero algunos datos sobre este perfume. Viene en 3 tamaños diferentes (30, 50 y 100ml), yo tengo el frasco en spray de 100ml que cuesta unos 98€, este frasco está diseñado por Stella McCartney e inspirado en el cristal de amatista, que irradia una sombra de tonalidades ciruela. Sinceramente no es muy de mi estilo, me parece muy oscuro y de formas muy angulares, de hecho me gusta más la cajita en la que viene con los detalles dorados.//

The scent is a homage to the English rose and that's the heart of this perfume, pure rose with a sultry amber contrast. Sharp fresh mandarin essence and light peony flower are the top notes.
So as you can imagine, this fragrance smells too much of roses, not a light scent of roses but a strong/heavy smell, too sweet and too "cheap" in my opinion. Also the intensity is very strong at the beginning but it fades fast, which is something you wouldn't expect from a Eau de Parfum. I do find it sensual, anyway not in a way I like as I'm not a big fan of roses scents, and I'd recommend it more for the evening and going out.
I'm a bit disappointed about this perfume because of 2 things: the heavy rose scent and the fact that it fades too fast for a 100€ eau de parfum. Anyway that's a matter of taste.

//El olor es un homenaje a las rosas inglesas y ése es el corazón de este perfume, rosas puras con un contraste de ámbar sensual. Una fuerte esencia de mandarinas frescas y un toque ligero de peonías son además las notas de salida.
Así que como os podéis imginar, este perfume huele mucho a rosas, pero no un aroma ligero de rosas sino un olor muy fuerte/intenso, demasiado dulce e incluso "barato" en mi opinión. Además la intensidad es muy fuerte al principio pero se va debilitando muy rápido, cosa que no te esperas de un Eau de Parfum. Sí que me parece una fragancia sensual, pero no de la manera que a mí me gusta ya que no soy nada fan de los aromas de rosas, es además un perfume que recomendaría más para la noche y para salir.
Estoy un poco decepcionada con el Eau de Parfum Stella por dos cosas: el intenso olor a rosas y el hecho de que pierda fuerza muy rápido para un perfume de 100€. Pero bueno, como siempre es cuestión de gustos.//

Rossmann Christmas Beauty Box

Just a quick post today to show you the beauty box I got in December from Rossmann. It was a surprise for Christmas, I really had no idea I would receive such a box and I was delighted about it. I got it just before the Christmas holidays but I didn't take it with me, so I couldn't write about it before. I'm sorry it's a bit late now, but I wanted to show anyway the 10 products that came inside the box.

//Hoy un pequeño post para enseñaros la beauty box que recibí en diciembre por parte de Rossmann. Fue una sorpresa total, no tenía ni idea de que me iban a enviar esta caja y quedé encantada. La recibí justo antes de irme de vacaciones de Navidad pero no me la llevé conmigo, por lo que no pude escribir un post sobre ella. Lo siento que ahora es un poco tarde pero no quería dejar de enseñaros los 10 productos que venían dentro de la cajita.//

1. Essence Lash Princess mascara: I already had this product and I like it, so I'm happy now I have it twice.
2. Pantene Pro-V dry oil: a dry oil for the hair with vitamin E. I haven't used it yet because I have 2 more that I'm using right now, but I'll try it for sure.
3. Weleda Men shower gel: I find it great that the box also contains products for men, my hubby is also very happy!
4. Sebamed Body Milk: a body milk for dry and sensitive skin, a great product that I'll use for sure!
5. Neutrogena hand cream: with nordic berry. Neutrogena has great hand creams that I sometimes use, I actually have the same body milk with nordic berry and I love it, so I'm happy I have also the hand cream now.
6. Rexona cotton deodorant: I've been using it and I love it, great product!.
7. For your Beauty peeling pad: a pad to make a soft peeling while cleaning your face, I can't wait to try it!.
8. Tetesept bath salts: I will use these bath salts soon, now that the days are cold and dark, it's a great time to take a bath with these salts!
9. Colgate Total Whitening: I always buy Colgate Total toothpaste, so this is a perfect product for me!
10. Isana Men eye roll-on: I'm not a big fan of eye roll-ons because it sometimes comes too much product from the tube, anyway this is not for me but for my hubby, let's see what he thinks about it.

5. Neutrogena crema de manos: con nordic berry. Neutrogena tiene muy buenas cremas que a veces compro, de hecho ahora mismo tengo la crema corporal con nordic berry que me encanta asi que encantada estoy de tener la versión para las manos.
6. Rexona Algodón desodorante: lo he estado usando las últimas semanas y sólo puedo decir que me encanta!
7. For your Beauty disco para peeling: un disco para exfoliar la piel suavemente mientras la limpias, tengo muchas ganas de probarlo!
8. Tetesept sales de baño: lo pienso usar en breve, estos días de frío y oscuridad son perfectos para darse un baño con sales.
9. Colgate Total Whitening: siempre compro pasta de dientes de Colgate así que perfecto que hayan incluido esta marca en la caja.
10. Isana Men roll-on para ojos: no soy muy fan de los roll-ons para ojos porque suelen echar demasiado producto pero bueno, éste no es para mi sino para mi chico así que ya veremos qué opina él.

Nivea Q10Plus Serum Aktiv Perlen / Serum Pearls

Do you know the new Nivea Q10Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum Pearls? I wouldn't actually call it a serum, as it's not very liquid, but it contains a high concentration of Q10 and that makes it a serum... Its formula is also enriched with Hyaluronic Acid which helps to reduce the appearence of wrinkles and to prevent the formation of new ones.

What you see in the tube is not a picture, these are the real yellow pearls with a transparent liquid. When you press the dispenser, the pearls are then dissolved and blended and you get this lumpy and soft cream. It's easy to extend, smells nice (like mimosa) and leaves your skin very smooth.
Anyway there's something I don't like at all, I've used this serum as indicated, on clean skin, before my day cream, and everything was ok until I tried to apply my bb creme. As I was extending it, the whole serum started to detach from my face, which makes it then difficult to apply any makeup on top and also makes no sense, the serum didn't get absorbed at all, it was only extended on the surface.
I am very disappointed about this product: first as a serum I would expect something more liquid and also something that my skin absorbs completely, and second I hate that I can't use any bb cream or foundation afterwards. I'll use it mainly before my night cream but I'm definetely not buying it again.

//Lo que se ven dentro del bote no es una foto, son las perlas amarillas reales junto a un líquido transparente. Cuando presionas el dispensador, las perlas se trituran y se mezclan con el líquido formando esta crema suave y grumosa. Es muy fácil de extender, huele bien (como a mimosa) y deja la piel muy suave.
Sin embargo tiene algo que no me ha gustado nada de nada. He usado el sérum como indica, sobre la piel limpia y antes de mi crema de día, hasta aquí todo bien, pero cuando intenté echarme mi bb cream, al extenderla se empezó a desprender el sérum de mi cara (salían trozos amarillos), lo que hace muy difícil aplicar ningún maquillaje encima y además pierde todo el sentido, el sérum no se absorbió en absoluto sino que estaba simplemente extendido sobre la piel.
Estoy muy decepcionada con el producto: por un lado porque de un sérum me espero algo más líquido y sobretodo algo que mi piel absorba completamente, y por otro lado odio que no lo puedo usar antes de mi bb cream ni de mi base de maquillaje. Lo voy a seguir usando junto a mi crema de noche pero definitivamente no pienso repetir con este sérum.//

New in: Laura Mercier

I'm back again! I was abroad celebrating Christmas with my family in Spain and sadly I wasn't able to write, I didn't have time. Anyway I hope you had wonderful holidays!
Now it's time to show you new products again, like these 2 makeup things by Laura Mercier: a lipstick and a mascara.

//¡Ya estoy de vuelta! He estado fuera celebrando las Navidades con mi familia en España y desgraciadamente no pude escribir, apenas tuve tiempo. De todas maneras espero que hayais pasado unas fiestas geniales!
Pero ahora es el momento de volver a enseñaros nuevos productos, como estos dos de maquillaje de Laura Mercier: un labial y una máscara de pestañas.//

I've been using this Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Suprême mascara for almost the whole Christmas, time enough to confirm that it's a great mascara. It hasn't the type of brush I normally like to use, this one is more classic, anyway the bristles are short and perfectly placed on the brush so that they apply the right amount of product, leaving the lashes shiny, soft and clump-free all day long.
I love the formula, it lengthens and thickens with just one stroke, gives intensive color, leaves no clumps, it's waterproof and lasts for 8-10 hours. I can truly confirm that, I've used it the whole day without problem. You can only buy it in black because Laura Mercier thinks that black gives the best definition with the least amount of product, anyway I only buy black mascaras so I find it perfect. By the way, it's suitable for sensitive eyes and safe for contact lens wearers.

//He estado usando esta máscara de pestañas Full Blown Volume Suprème de Laura Mercier durante casi todas las Navidades, tiempo suficiente para poder decir que es una gran máscara. No tiene el tipo de cepillo que suelo usar, este es más clásico, pero las cerdas son cortitas y perfectamente colocadas para aportar la cantidad exacta de producto, dejando las pestañas brillantes, suaves y sin grumos durante todo el día. Me encanta su fórmula, alarga y espesa con una sola pasada, da color intenso, no deja grumos, es waterproof y dura 8-10 horas, algo que puedo confirmar pues la he llevado puesta durante todo el día sin problemas. Sólo se puede comprar en color negro ya que Laura Mercier opina que el negro aporta la mejor definición con la menor cantidad de producto, pero bueno yo sólo tengo máscaras negras así que a mí me parece bien. Por cierto, es apta para ojos sensibles y para quienes usan lentillas como yo.//

This is a 100% wax-free lip colour that delivers pure long lasting colour that lets the skin breathe and comforts it with hydration. The formula is weightless, it feels really comfortable on the lips.

It comes in 17 tones divided in 4 different finishes: matte (for velvety lips), sheer (for naturally stained lips), crème (for luminous creamy lips) and pearl (for pearlized lips). I have the shade Chic, which is a creamy reddish pink. Actually all the shade names begin with the same letter as their finish: M, S, C or P, (for example mine: Chic - Crème finish) easy to remember. It's suitable for all skin types, as I already said completely weightless on the lips and provide really intense and pure colour.

Christmas & Party Outfits

Do you already have your outfits for the upcoming Christmas parties and events? I do partially. I actually give more importance to the New Year's Eve and I buy every year a new outfit for that day, but for the moment I'm still thinking what I should buy this time.

I'm hesitating, I normally wear dresses on New Year's Eve, but I'm thinking about buying an overall this time. I have a couple of casual summer ones, but there are actually many great more formal overalls like these 3 above from Esprit that you can wear on events. It's becoming very usual to see more and more girls wearing long overalls in parties and events and I'm really considering buying me one, my favourite among the 3 above is the blue one (you can see it here), I love the collar!

If I finally don't buy an overall, I surely will go for a dress, you can't fail with a lovely dress for New Year's Eve. Black dresses or black with a mix of other colours (like the first and the last one) are always perfect, anyway I might choose a different colour (for example green like the dress above) as I buy many dark clothes in winter and sometimes it's good to change. The four dresses above are from Esprit too and I love them all, each one is different and has something special (here you can see them all and more). The first one is more classic, the second is the typical LBD, the third one is close-fitting and sexy and the skirt of the last one is a jewel! Too difficult to choose.

Anyway there's something I'm sure about and that's the coat and the accessories that will accompany the outfit. Yes, black again and a bit of golden and shine. You can't say these things don't go perfect with any of the overalls and dresses I picked. It doesn't matter which item I'll finally choose, these accessories fit perfectly! I find the "trenchcoat" style of the Esprit coat (here) great, I just love it and it's perfect for any formal outfit, don't you think? And the faux fur clutch, isn't it lovely? I just have to decide now which main item to wear, can you help me? Do you prefer an overall or a dress for New Year's Eve? Which item from all above is your favourite?

Sisley Global Perfect pore minimizer & Giveaway Winner

As a fan of Sisley, I'm happy to talk again about a product of this brand: the Global Perfect pore minimizer.

//Como fan de Sisley que soy, estoy encantada de hablaros de otro producto más de la marca: el Global Perfect pore minimizer.//

Even though it's called a pore minimizer, like many primers, it's not a primer but a treatment. It works as a cream/moisturizer (you can see on the picture below the light and creamy texture), must be applied in the morning (or night) on clean and dry skin, and then you can apply your usual moisturizer on top if you want.
The special thing about this treatment is the global action concentrate (it corrects, prevents and treats), it tightens pores while preventing them from enlarging and corrects irregularities in the skin's texture day after day.

//Aunque se llama pore minimizer (minimizador de poros), como algunos primers/prebases, no es una prebase sino un tratamiento. Funciona como una crema (en la foto de abajo se ve su consistencia ligera y cremosa), se aplica por la mañana o por la noche en la piel limpia y seca y después ya puedes echarte tu crema habitual si quieres.
Lo especial de este tratamiento es que es un concentrado con acción global (correctora, preventiva y tratante), va afinando los poros a la vez que evita su futura dilatación y va alisando la textura de la piel día tras día.//

Its light texture is immediately absorbed, that's something I like but at the same time I have the same sensation as with the "first wrinkles" cream (you can read the review here), I feel I need more product than it says I should apply. It also smells like the "first wrinkles" cream, of natural products, it actually contains natural active ingredients: java tea extract (regulates excess sebum), lentil extract (against deformation of pores over time), rathania extract (astringent effect) and natural alpha bisabolol (soothes).
Its supposed effect is to leave a flawless skin, free of imperfections, well I think that's too much, I don't believe there's any miracle product in the world, but I do feel it really improves the texture, it becomes smoother and the pores get better. Also when you apply it, it leaves the skin matte and at the same time moisturized, and you get that feeling of well cared. The only not so good thing about this product is the price and quantity: more than 100€ for only 30 ml.

//Su textura super ligera se absorbe inmediatamente, cosa que me gusta pero a la vez me da la misma sensación que tengo con la crema "first wrinkles" (podéis leer la review aquí), me parece que necesito más producto de lo que especifica. También huele como la "first wrinkles", muy a productos naturales, de hecho sus ingredientes activos son naturales: contiene extracto de té (regula la hiperseborrea), de lenteja (contra el agrandamiento de poros), de ratania (efecto astringente) y alfa-bisabolol natural (calmante).
Su supuesto efecto es dejar la piel perfecta, libre de defectos, la verdad es que es decir mucho, yo personalmente no creo que exista ningún producto milagroso en el mundo, pero sí que va mejorando la textura en cuanto a poros y se va alisando, además al echártelo te deja la piel mate pero a la vez hidratada y esa sensación de muy cuidada. El único gran pero es la relación cantidad-precio: más de 100€ para sólo 30 ml.//
