Recently I needed to switch out my old phone case for my iPhone. I have the 11 pro Max so there doesn’t seem to be many case options in store for my model. At least not one that offered what I was looking for. I refuse to upgrade my iPhone to a newer model and spend money that I don’t have. Especially when the one I have still works just fine. However, the case I had was falling apart and was no longer functional for me.

One thing I wanted was a case that would hold my most used debit card, just like the one I was replacing. I had a Best Buy gift card that I needed to use so I decided to see what they might have online. I came across this case from Vena that was less than $8. It offers a hidden slot that allows you to carry up to two cards at once. I liked that it’s a neutral color and would still allow me to charge my phone wirelessly, even with the cards inserted.

The case fits snugly on my phone with all buttons and ports easily accessible. I appreciate the CornerGuard technology that keeps my phone protected from accidental drops. I have dropped my phone several times since this arrived and not a scratch or crack. Thank goodness! Removing the case is also very simple and takes no effort at all.

Lastly, I really think that it’s cool you can use any card as a kickstand. There is a slot on the back of the case where you just stick your card in upright, then just stand your phone up for easy viewing. I am highly satisfied with this purchase and the awesome features at such a minimal price!

New things are fun for a little while, and in some situations, you will need them. That new phone or kitchen gadget might feel really exciting the first few weeks, but eventually, it just becomes part of your kitchen kit and whips in the background. Experiences, on the other hand, grow more meaningful over time. You look back on them, talk about them, and you even relive them through photos and stories. They connect you to people and help shape who you are. Even a simple day with a friend can turn into a core memory, while a new pair of boots or jeans is just that. It’s not that you should never buy anything new, but when it comes to what really brings lasting value, shared time is usually more important.

You Don’t Need Big Plans to Create Meaning

You could invite people over without stressing out about the state of your house, and you can focus on being more present than being polished. It’s a different type of rhythm, but it feels good. Even the things that you keep tend to have more meaning; maybe it’s the mug that you brought on a road trip or a little plant you picked up when you were out together. Things are tied to memories, and they stay special for longer.

Final Thoughts

We all like to have nice things, but the truth is most of us don’t need more things. We need to have more time with loved ones, more connection, and more room to make and enjoy memories. Changing from “What can I get?” to “What can I do or share?” can make a huge difference in how you feel every day, especially when it comes to giving gifts.

This is a topic of discussion that might seem weird but honestly, it’s not! The holidays are approaching and I wanted to share a unique gift idea. It’s called The UnWipe and I believe it’s not a bad gift idea. It’s honestly kind of genius! I was sent a couple to test out and it’s very simple to use but also quite handy. If you’re someone who spends money on flushable wipes, this can be a huge money saver. Instead of having wipes to feel completely clean after the go, you just need this and your toilet paper. Save space and money at the same time.

I know what you might be thinking, this thing is totally useless. However, I like the convenience of being able to have this in the house and on the go. To use, just fill with water, pour out the excess and press your toilet paper on top. It immediately turns your tp into a moist texture that isn’t soggy and imprints the little poop emoji. Cute! Now wipe like usual and flush, that’s it! I like that this product is easy to use and makes feeling cleaner after the restroom a breeze. No complicated device, just simple and cost effective.

I can’t believe that this year is almost over and the holidays are already upon us. This is the time of year when we like to upgrade our wardrobe for the cooler weather and that starts at our feet.
