Relationships: She will report to Country Director of ActionAid Bangladesh. She has to maintain functional relationship with her peers in team, priority and project management team. She must be able to communicate with impact with other Strategic Priority Units, Reinforcing Priority Units and Organizational Priority units of ActionAid Bangladesh. The incumbent will also maintain the liaison and networking with ActionAid International / Federation and other ActionAid Country Programmes, at national level and also maintain the relationship with Government and Non Government Agencies, LRP Partners and other stakeholders. She has to maintain relationship with donors.

PROSHAR’s M&E system is an ongoing program management tool that enables implementers to analyze information and modify interventions in a timely and efficient process. PROSHAR project is prioritized information sharing through timely reporting and documenting of lessons learned and best practices. Under the M&E Director, the Manager MIS and GIS have been guiding the technical direction of PROSHAR’s MIS approach and strategy under its three program objectives in the Dhaka office. As a member of PROSHAR’s Monitoring & Evaluation team, this position is responsible for strategic guidance including quality implementation of PROSHAR’s comprehensive and integrated MIS, as well as proper documentation at all levels of the projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
Maintain/update PROSHAR’s comprehensive and integrated Management Information System (MIS) in line with its three program strategic objectives and requirement of the donor and management staff.
Establish linkage with PROSHAR MIS system and environment and gender monitoring tools to analyze the outputs and/or outcomes of environment and gender activities
Develop Geographical Information System (GIS).
Provide on-the-job orientation/support to prepare GIS based Maps that support locket activities.
Make sure the implementation of PROSHAR MIS plan to collect and report required disaggregated data/information as per requirement of the donor and management staff.
Provide necessary consistent data/information to support preparing different donor and management reports in time.
Conduct trainings on MIS topics for relevant staff and develop operational/user guidelines/manuals to ensure quality MIS and GIS implementation
