A Dhaka-based continuous process manufacturing company would like to recruit a Senior Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electrical). The prospective candidate must have at least 15 years practical experience in a continuous process manufacturing plant.
The job responsibilities are as follows:
a. Operate electrical power distribution system of approximately 2-5 MW and its components (transformer, HT-LT panel) for supplying power to various machines from own generation, also from Govt. power source, for a continuous process plant.
b. Supervise repair & maintenance works and monitor operation of 3–phase AC motors up to 300 HP & 125 KW DC Motor.
c. Trouble shooting of electrical power generation & distribution system; some knowledge of PLC, Inverter & related equipment will be an added advantage.
d. Plan & implement schedule & preventive maintenance works in order to avoid breakdowns in the continuous process plant.
e. Sound knowledge of operation & electrical maintenance of gas generators.
Preference will be given to those who are working in glass & ceramics related industries and with some knowledge of combustion technology.
