It has been a few weeks, but I finally go in depth about the Tour de Cure ride, my surprise, getting lost, the ride and what I thought about my first event.  There were quite a few items in the news that I caught up on and discuss in this episode along with a few upcoming events.  Finally, I will be attending a blogger conference at Lilly (Diabetes) on Monday in Indy with them fully covering all expenses (full disclosure). I can’t wait to meet up with some fellow friends from the diabetes community and discuss real-living with diabetes. I will report back next week.  Have a great weekend!

This session runs a little longer than most because next Thursday is Thanksgiving and there is not going to be a podcast.  I cover some great topics and can’t wait to jump into one of the new books I got this week about diabetes.  Not only will you hear me touch on topics never discussed before, but you will hear a strained voice from me being sick.  Proper coverage with insurance is a huge topic in the healthcare world and with diabetes patients, but not too many touch on life insurance for those with diabetes like I did in this podcast.
