The only thing that could make the pool at the Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay any better would be if it were an infinity pool. Other than that, it’s pretty much the perfect place to hang out and top up your tan!

This is quite simply one of the most stunning views you can see in Hawaii, without having to hike. You used to have to hike along a dirt road to get to this lookout, but it’s now paved and so you can simply drive to it. Stunning huh?

If you’re going to spend your life as a tree, you may as well grow up on this gorgeous beach on Kauai, right?

I’ve lost count of how many times we stop at this lookout on the north shore of Kauai. It’s always worth the stop and just amazing how green everything is.

If you’re going to run aground in your sailboat then it may as well be at the gorgeous Club Lanai.

While Club Lanai has been deserted since the ’80s, it’s still a stunning place to visit by 4WD.

Is there anything more romantic than sitting on the beach with your honey and watching a sunset?

The Four Seasons at Manele Bay on Lanai has gone through a number of upgrades and improvements, but you can’t improve much on perfection.

The clouds had just started to retreat from the canyon, and the sun started to light up the rock, as I took this photo.

I’m not a big fan of cruises in general, but I am a HUGE fan of scenic cruises. Especially when you’re constantly seeing beautiful scenes like this from your stateroom. This was from our cruise of the Norwegian Fjords in 2012.

They call it “your home away from home,” but it’s not true. I don’t get butler service, or served afternoon tea when I’m at home! *sigh*

If you’re a fan of the movie Cars, then you’ll know Mater. While in Tromso, Norway I spotted this rusted scene and thought it might be the perfect place for Mater to go on vacation.
