In the Easter Holidays I was asked to create some videos covering the daily happenings at Elim Bible Week. The project was a lot of fun and we managed to see lots of friends throughout the week. I persuaded my wife to take on the presenting and interviewing duties, whilst I shot, edited and created the graphics.

Logos for 2012

The new year has seen me almost taking over a retail website, get ill with flu and start a blog. On the design front I have been working on logos and branding for Huddersfield Elim Church.

This logo was to pull the church vision into one simple visual, to be used throughout the church.

This one is to promote the challenge of personal mission in March and beyond.

Not So Silent Night

Last Saturday me, my wife and two friends organised and ran an alternative Christmas event at Huddersfield Elim. We wanted to try something a little different to the usual Carol Service so we ran it magazine style with songs, videos, sketches and a quiz. It all ran really well and the response from people was excellent. A big thanks to all who helped.

5 days in Şardu, Romania

I have just returned from a short trip to Şardu in Romania. My wife and I went to visit some old friends who are running Youth and Community projects for local families. We also had the opportunity to take tree suitcases of winter clothes for the children.

I had a great time this Friday mixing video and graphics for the Urban Sounds youth event organised with Worth Unlimited Huddersfield

Fresh and relevant as ever, I’ve finally set some time aside to work on my site and I think it’s looking good. Will probably need tweaking a little as we go, but I’m pleased for now. Have a look around and then get in touch.

Back From Honduras

I have returned from my three month trip to Honduras with Elim International Missions with a fresh perspective on how we can use media and design across many different boundaries.
On top of general video and photography work, I ended up creating a dance video with a youth group and a website for the churches. Each had it’s restrictions and challenges but I am happy with the results.
I am excited to get back to work designing and creating, starting with a website re-design.
