Yuri Lane Remix Project – I’m Flying

Yuri Lane is one of my favorite beatboxers. I decided to mine his vast collection of youtube videos (www.youtube.com/yurilane) for raw (sonic) material. “I’m Flying” is the first result. I created a main rhythm sequence by editing a loop and re-assembling the component sounds. From there I applied some effect wizardry (???) and added the audio from one of Yuri’s youtube videos “Sound Effects.”

What’s up everybody? As you might have seen, Beatbox.Tv is growing and changing. We’re still all about beatboxing (course) but we also want to expand our horizons and present cutting edge music and music-related media from across the map.

One project I am currently working on is producing some tracks for my man Blizzard. He’s a young cat with a concise flow. I’m feeling his flow and trying to lend my ear and experience to help him gain some exposure.

I’ve attached a track for you all to listen to. Its called Refuse To Lose. As of this posting, Beatbox.Tv is the only place to hear this track. Hope you like it. Let me know.
