Another decade has come and gone a lot has happened. Beauti N' Success was only a thought ten years ago. I was a writer contributor for How-to's for ehow.com, Yahoo Answers, and howto.com, arc which I believe is now called wikihow.com plus other advice and tip websites. Now we've been in and out, on and off inconsistent. Due to some instability and major losses in my personal life, I've deleted some posts and had to buy a new laptop. Now I am completely focused on consistency and consistent content. I have finally learned how to manifest the life I desire and I'm going to share this with you all.

So, you want to know how to become a new you in the new year? For the last 10 years, I've lived and learned a lot. Plenty of ups and lots of downs. My ups were fulfilling and my downs devastating. I've experienced heartache and disappointments from exes, family, fake friends, failed businesses you name it and I've experienced it. I may be considered a failure to most, but, in my eyes. I'm winning because if I never failed, I wouldn't know how to succeed. I was dead set on starting a business by the time I was a certain age once I turned that age, I was determined to launch my business a month later. The truth is I wasn't even really ready, my business plan hadn't even been completed and I only had half the skills and knowledge I have now.

The worst part is I didn't even start my dream business the one I was given and guided to start. The one I already had been working, and see I thought it would be easier and make faster money. But, I was wrong, I forgot about the foundation, whatever a foundation is built on, determines the fruit it will bear. The common denominator in all this was me.

YES, INDEED

Sometimes we aren't aware that in our subconscious mind. Painful childhood memories we may have buried, that cause us to sabotage by overthinking. Another thing debilitating life-altering accidents can cause a lot of doubt, fear, negative thoughts such as I experienced. This experience along with a broken heart jolted me into an awakening.

VISION BOARDS ARE A TOOL OF THE LAW OF ATTRACTION TO HELP YOU BRING SUCCESS AND AFFIRMATION TO YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS.

The first way we manifest is by becoming, self-aware so that we stop SELF- SABOTAGE, AND SELF-DESTRUCTION.

How Do I Become Self Aware?

Pray and meditate on your dreams and goals to make sure they're right for you. Next, write them down in detail, start a routine, If you haven't already, do a vision board as soon as possible.

How to Stop Self-Sabotage?
when manifesting never think negative, don't doubt, and be patient. Any negative thought will block your manifestations and dreams from coming true. Don't procrastinate.

CREATING A VISION BOARD!

Having a vision board can really boost your manifestation. So after meditating and becoming connected to who you are, what it is you want. Now there are three ways to create a vision board. You may create a physical board.

2. buy a poster board or a large frame (you can find these at the dollar store)

The same method applies to both the app and internet version. You can print an internet version and frame it.

I Almost Gave up on My Dreams

I love my blog so much that I decided to not give up on it. I have so much information to help others and people constantly ask me for advice and think I know everything. (which I don't) I just research a lot and experienced a lot I lived and learned. I've been through some horrible situations I told someone what I was working on for my brand and they stole all my ideas and work then stalked me to copy me causing me to have to deactivate my social media accounts. I lost all my Twitter Followers and have to start all over. I Then proceeded to start rumors, lie on me, slander and try to ruin my personal life and career. There's a lot of crazy people out here including Influencers, Celebrities, and Content Creators. I have a lot of storytimes and videos coming.

I will still post Fashion, Beauty, Fitness, and Lifestyle. but, will be adding a lot more natural, holistic, and spiritual content. I'm creating content for 2022 mostly because I want to be more consistent. My life was upside down after my injury but, I'd like to start posting at least twice a week until the new year.

I have just gone through physical, mental, and emotional healing. Who would've known it would take so many years to heal your spine geesh.

I had to delete a lot of old blogs, as well as old social media posts, I'm changing the whole color scheme and using branded posts on my Insta' once I reactivate it. I'm filling in my content calendars for 2022. I'm changing the theme to make it organized and aesthetic vs the old way I would post in somewhat a theme, but since I archived a lot of posts you can't really tell.

So the schedule I would've like to have done another Halloween theme. But will work on a fall decor some fall faves, something for thanksgiving, A black Friday shopping guide, I'm working on a Fall Fashion video. Then maybe winter or some outfit of the day looks.

I'm going to bring the weekender back (looks for the weekend) next year. But for the next 2 months, I want to finish 2022. I'm also going to be moving over to WordPress.

2022 is a big year there will be a lot going on. A lot of people will need emotional, spiritual, and mental and lifestyle support as well.

Hey everyone! It's your girl Beauti N' Success. It's been a while since I've done a food blog even though I post food and meal prep on snap and IG they seem to get a lot of likes and DMs. So I say WTH why not do more blogs!

If you're anything like me and you love to eat. But you want to know exactly what ingredients are in your food. You know the only way to know this is to cook it yourself. I know it's summer and sandwiches and salads are all the rave. I actually made this in the Spring however, this particular pasta recipe is light and healthy.

Chicken Parmesan with Zucchini and cheesy garlic bread

Ok, let's get started Chicken Parmesan. It is delicious and healthy minus the cheese

Ingredients:

1lb Organic grain-fed, hormone-free chicken cutlets

-1pk Whole wheat gluten-free pasta made with quinoa and brown rice

1-2 jars of Organic Marinara

1 can of Hunts non-GMO crushed tomatoes and 1 can of the tomato paste

1-2 Organic Zucchini

1 carton of fresh Organic baby Portabella

Olive Oil cold pressed preferred

1 ball of fresh Mozzarella, Provolone, and parmesan cheese.

Homemade Calamari

This is Calamari on the side coated in an egg, flour, and water, batter with salt & pepper fried to a golden brown finish!

Polyvore Gone Never to return again... Here are some alternatives!

Hello everyone,

It's ya girl Mila Najah I am on a rant...

So, I lost all my blog photos and creations. My favorite fashion platform Polyvore has been changed to a company called Ssense. Polyvore is where I make all my lookbooks and most of my posts. I don't know who they are or what they do. I am extremely unhappy with their decision even more so the way it was done.

Let me tell you!

Well, I started my daily routine and it was time for content for this blog. So, I went to create some Spring and summer. Polyvore is an app used by millions of fashion enthusiasts, bloggers, designers, stylists, and content creators. At first, I tried opening the Polyvore app a few times, I'm thinking 'hmm maybe it's down for maintenance. I tried the next day and I kept getting something that says SSense, then I went to the google search app and searched 'what happened to Polyvore?... the same thing. Next, I search what happened to Polyvore, and there it was "Polyvore users protest" apparently Polyvore has been purchased by the Montreal-based company Ssense. I'm not sure what they really do, because their website isn't very user-friendly. Polyvore There are millions of Polyvore users this was not cool at all

I love creating sets, for fun and for work. It’s how I express myself and put together looks I would wear or just fun themed looks. I even have a Polyvore Pinterest page. I think I deleted it once I knew what happened. Polyvore users were very talented artists who inspired one another as well as their own audiences and fans. I can't believe you Polyvore

So anyways,

I'll stop ranting now... so that's my problem, thankfully I'm a problem-solver and I found solutions. Here's what I found in my research.

I FOUND POLYVORE ALTERNATIVES/REPLACEMENT.

for now, anyway, I found a few sites and have already registered with two that allowed me to upload my Polyvore sets that I was able to download from the Polyvore site. I'm going to have to re-add the photos to each blog post one by one.

These apps are similar to Polyvore but not quite there yet, these were not created to replace Polyvore. being as Polyvore was 10 years old and these are startups with a year or less so they are not as advanced.

I found a few, many of which seem to be brand new or in Japanese. I'm still testing all of these and will update.

Pro's: easy to use, Polyvore upload, an app available

Cons: quality, not the same or as good as Polyvore, There aren't many stores in their search, but there are some really cute finds.

trendme: Brand new app still coming, 5 languages

My fave and the most interesting one is ShopLook (click to check them out). Con: No app yet! I have a lot of faith that they can fill the Polyvore void. They're willing to add as many similar Polyvore features as possible. we love and miss and to make it most like our Polyvore home as possible. I hope they bring as many features while keeping their own identity.

Pro's One interesting thing they offer is that you get paid for creating outfits. A dream come true! the founder’s idea was to provide a platform where we can earn commissions for creating sets. After all, it is our time, skill, and creativity that goes into these sets.

Update: I received my sets and I'm uploading to my old post what I have and whatever I don't I'll recreate with updated products.

Spring Quick Boost Fit Tips!

Hey Guys!

So, Did you know that proper diet and exercise along with the proper water intake will strengthen your immune system, fight off cancers, fibroids, thyroids, and other diseases by flushing out toxins from the meats, dairy, and GMOs that cause them?

If you’re like me, it’s not always easy to get started working out or consistently eating right and taking supplements. I’m learning consistency is key not only in fitness but everything we do!

Tips:

My fit tips are simple:

1: start with a detox. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on a detox system. I have a tip that helped me save a ton of money and got rid of my parasites, I didn’t know I had.

A Healthy diet helps alkalize the body and restore all the missing nutrients.

2.buy healthy foods that you like. Salad, carrots, celery. Buy organic if you can, it also tastes better and helps to Alkalize the body. Make sure you have a cheat day it will help you be consistent. Just think, you’re working toward eating what you’ve been craving all week. If you’re attending an event, let that be your cheat. Only cheat once a week, mmm😋enjoy it... but in moderation.

There's nothing wrong with indulging on cheat day, otherwise what's the purpose?. However, I find that some cheat days I opt. for still a healthier version of decadence.

3: Remember water, water, water. Increase your water intake at least 64 oz a day, that's equivalent to four 16 oz water bottles. Our bodies are made of about 76% water 💧 that’s more than half of everything else we operate off, which means we cannot operate properly without it. Stay away from water that is like tap water, which could do more harm than good.

4: work out in cute, bright, colorful clothing or all black fitness wear! Tops with sassy sayings are very motivational as it relates to you!

5: Meditate, pray, listen to music, say affirmations over hypnosis music, listen to gospel sermon. whatever you need to do to create serenity, peace, and balance in your life. a walk on a quiet park trail, a prayer closet or room.

NYX- Lip-lingerie in the shade ‘Beautymark’ this is a nude brown matte shade that goes on feeling creamy and moist, then dries to a matte finish. This color could look right with the right make up but for my skin tone it kind of blended in which is why I change the shade to a wine berry color on my photos on Instagram.

I had the pleasure of attending Everything Girls Love Workshop. Everything Girls love is founded and owned by Love and Hip Hop's Yandy Smith Harris who is also co-producer of the LHH Franchise with Mona Scott Young.

This weekend was empowering, encouraging and enlightening. I met a ton of amazing women both established and upcoming. Friday was an introduction to most of the panelist. This workshop was Passion + Purpose= Profits the panelist were Tiara Williams, Monique Rodriguez owner of Mielle Organics, Tamika Mallory, Lucinda Cross, Tashera Simmons, Bershan Shaw and Precious Avorkliyah-Evans.

I noticed that most of the panelist hardships similar to my own. Most of these successful, determined, women came from homes that were destroyed by drug use. I never tell my story because my family is so "private" but, my story is my story and you can't sugar coat the ugly truth.

The life stories from most of the day 2 panelist were similar or just as crazy. I used to feel like my life negatives were holding me back and that I would be further if my parents were supportive, or had not been on drugs. Recently, I've been feeling that I am who I am because of it. I've persevered because of it. I've had an entrepreneurial way of thinking since the age of 7, from Lemonade Stands to newspaper routes and babysitting. I can and will become who God created me to be and build a multimillion dollar ideas will come to fruition just as I have built my brand from the ground up. What I took from this weekend is these people have built million dollar companies and growing with the same background as I or just as bad, 'if they did it' I can do it and I will.

Branding 101 Speakers included: Shante Bacon, Latoya Shambo, Danella Dunham, Courtney Adeleye owner of the Mane Choice, Mahisa Dellinger and Yandy. 1 of the speakers stated"you have to know what your consumer and wants likes" etc. when creating your brand. Shante Bacon said "the work creates the brand.

Entertainment 101 was the final chapter. This panel had some of the top people responsible for shaping the entertainment industry. This panel included Fashion Designer Laurel Dewitt, Tekoa Hash founding partner of the Teknique Agency. Rae Holliday Blogger of 'Stuff Fly People Like and BET host/ talent.Arian Simone Founder of Fearless Magazine and the Fun Fly Fabulous box which I received from Arian and will review soon.

I walked away making connections with established successful people in my industry. I love Yandy, Mona and all these women this was a sisterhood of everybody wanting to see everybody make it. I've been saying this all year and making moves to Level up and Boss Up, this weekend confirmed that. 2017 Get Ready for Mila Najah and the Beautiful Success Brands.

If you haven't heard by now, Melania Trump National Republican Speech was ripped off from Michelle Obama's National Democratic Speech in 2008.

All this and that about this Election is cause for major concern.

I don't like to discuss politics too much. However, after reading that a Republican doesn't "can't recall any great African American contributions" Although African Americans built America, invented the stop light, the heart Pacemaker, carbon filament for the light bulb, the fireproof safe, The multi-plex Telegraph used between train stations and moving trains, Cataract Laser pharos Probe, 3D graphics Technology in film etc. Hmmm Republicans constantly downplay African American contributions to society.

So, the Trump camp states that the speech was written by a team of Trump family speech writers! Via aol http://aol.it/2acvAWI My personal feelings is write your own speech, be genuine about your true feelings about holding a position such as, first lady or President for that matter or at least put your own ideas and goals down on paper before turning it over to a professional writer. This reminds me of the rich white kids at school who paid for the test and homework answers, or in many cases for the work to be done by someone else to hold their honor student title. I don't know about you but, I wouldn't want a doctor who cheated his way through school working on me as I don't want a President who isn't qualified to run the country I live in.

This is not the best way to start Gay Pride month! I woke up to disturbing news reports, and I'm extremely saddened by the act of violence taken place. There was a deadly shooting in the wee morning hours at a gay night club "Pulse" in Orlando. It has since been confirmed 53 injured shot and 50 dead.

News reporters are calling this an act of terrorism most likely due to the shooters name being Islamic. Reports by the Huffington post "The shooter was identified as Omar S. Mateen, a man that a senior FBI official said might have had leanings towards Islamic State militants. Officials cautioned that the Islamist tie required further investigation."

However, TMZ reported "Mateen's father told NBC News, "This has nothing to do with religion." He says his son became angry after seeing 2 men kissing a few months ago in Miami, and he speculates that could have triggered his decision to kill." as I suspected. I am in no way taking up for this Murderer, However, I hate when the media tries scare tactics trying to relate everything a person with a Islam name to terrorism; when this was clearly a Hate crime.

This tragedy hits close to home for me. I have a couple of gay cousins and 1 of them travels a lot and has attended Pulse. This is scary for any group of people. I am asking that the LGBT community stays safe while celebrating Gay Pride month. My condolences to the families of the dead.
