Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom, (born 1 March 1983 in Kangathei, Manipur, India) known as MC Mary Kom, Magnificent Mary or simply Mary Kom, is an Indian woman boxer. She is a five-time World Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships. She is the only Indian woman boxer to have qualified and won Olympics bronze medal in 2012 London Summer Olympics. She has also been ranked as No. 4 AIBA World Women's Ranking Flyweight category.

Mary Kom began competing at the international level at the age of 18, only a year after she started boxing. Her international debut was at the first AIBA Women's World Boxing Championship in the United States, where she won a silver medal in the 48 kg weight category. Judit Polgar (born July 23, 1976 in Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian chess grandmaster. She is the strongest female chess player in history. She achieved the title of Grandmaster in 1991 at the age of 15 years and 4 months, the youngest person ever to do so at that time.

Judit Polgar was ranked No. 29 in the world on the March 2012 FIDE rating list with an Elo rating of 2709, the only woman on FIDE's Top 100 Players list and has been ranked as high as eighth (in 2005). In September 2002, in the Russia versus the Rest of the World Match, Polgar finally defeated Garry Kasparov in a game. Lacey Pearl Nymeyer (born October 29, 1985 in Tucson, Arizona, USA) is an Olympic swimmer from the United States. Lacey Nymeyer was a member of the world record-breaking 4x200 m freestyle relay team in World Aquatics Championships 2007.

In 2008 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship, Nymeyer was a member of the 200 yard free relay, 400 yard free relay, 400 yard medley relay, and 800 yard free relay, which all won first place. She is also an individual NCAA champion in the 200y freestyle (2007) and 100y freestyle (2008).

At the 2008 Beijing Olympic, Nymeyer was part of the 4x100 m freestyle team and won the silver medal. Nymeyer also competed in an individual event, the 100 m freestyle and placed 12th overall.

On October 18, 2009, Nymeyer was named the "2009 NCAA Woman of the Year" which honors female student athletes who have completed their eligibility, demonstrated academic and athletics excellence and engaged in community service and leadership opportunities.

Ashley Harkleroad (Born May 2, 1985 in Rossville, Georgia, United States) is an American tennis player. Harkleroad was the first professional ( WTA ) tennis player to pose for Playboy. On June 9, 2003 Harkleroad achieved her career-high ranking of no. 39. Her career prize money to date is 1,022,094 USD.

Harkleroad started playing tennis at age four. Ashley first appearance was 1999's ITF tournament at the Largo, Florida. She played her first WTA qualifying event in Miami, Florida and her first Grand Slam at the U.S. Open in same year. Harkleroad turned pro on June 12, 2000 and quickly billed as the next American star tennis player.

In 2001, she improved her status on the ITF Circuit. Erin Jill Andrews (born May 4, 1978 in Lewiston, Maine, United States) is an American sportscaster, journalist, and television personality. Erin Andrews is a co-host of College GameDay on ESPN and a contributor for Good Morning America on the ABC network.

In 2000, Andrews was employed by Fox Sports Florida as a freelance reporter. In 2001-2002, she served as a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for the Sunshine Network. From 2002-2004, Andrews covered the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Thrashers, and Atlanta Hawks for the Turner South network as a studio host and reporter.

Victoria Azarenka (Born 31 July 1989 in Minsk, Byelorussian, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian professional tennis player. She is the current World No. 1 as of January 30, 2012. She won the 2012 Australian Open singles title, becoming the first Belarusian player to win a Grand Slam in singles.

Azarenka debuted on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior tour in November 2003 in Israel and winning one doubles title with countrywoman Olga Govortsova. She continued to participate in ITF tournaments in 2004, and at the end of the season she had a rank of 508 on WTA singles tour.

In 2005, Victoria Azarenka won two junior Grand Slams the Australian and US championships. She ended the season as the junior world no. 1 and was named the 2005 World Champion by the ITF, becoming the first Belarusian to do this.

Victoria Azarenka won mixed doubles Grand Slam titles, the 2007 US Open with Max Mirnyi. She also ranked her career highs of world no. 27 in singles and world no. 29 in doubles in 2007.

In 2008, Azarenka won the mixed doubles title of French Open with Bob Bryan. Azarenka was seeded 14th at the US Open, but was defeated by 21st-seeded Caroline Wozniacki in the third round.

Shahar Peer (Born May 1, 1987 in Jerusalem, Israel) is an Israeli professional tennis player. Her career-high singles ranking is World No. 11, which she achieved on January 31, 2011. It is the highest ranking ever for an Israeli singles male or female tennis player.

Shahar Peer attained her best Grand Slam singles result when she reached the quarter-finals at the 2007 Australian Open and the 2007 US Open. She also reached the Women's doubles final at the 2008 Australian Open with Victoria Azarenka. Peer has won five WTA singles titles and three WTA doubles titles. As of August 29, 2011, Peer was ranked World No. 24 in singles and No. 33 in doubles.

Peer originally played with a "counter-puncher" style, she had adopted a more attacking style of play. She loves to take lots of points with the inside out shot on her backhand. She originally used a kick serve that lacked the drive needed to penetrate deep, but she changed it to more of a slice serve, which works great for her now and even generates aces. She has a good volley and doesn't have a problem going to the net. During matches, Peer often turns her back to her opponent between points, faces the back of the court, closes her eyes and tries to wipe the mental slate clean.

Shahar Peer started her competitive tennis career at the age of six and won her first title at the age of 12 when she captured the Eddie Herr International Doubles title with Nicole Vaidišová. She reached the Eddie Herr singles final as well. Peer's first major victory came at the 2004 Australian Open, where she won the Juniors' Championship. Peer beat her former partner Vaidišová in the final and became the first Israeli women to win a junior Grand Slam title since Anna Smashnova won the French Open girl's singles title in 1990.

In January 2006 in Canberra, Australia, she lost a marathon semi-final match (the first of her career) against Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues that lasted 3 hours and 45 minutes. At the time it was one of the ten longest matches in WTA tour history. Peer finished 2006 ranked 20th in the world, after winning her first three WTA singles titles that year in Pattaya, Prague and Istanbul.

At the 2007 Australian Open, Peer made history by becoming the first Israeli woman to reach the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam event. After beating Kuznetsova twice earlier in 2007, she met Kuznetsova for the third time in the fourth round of the French Open and lost. Peer finished 2007 ranked 17th in the world.

Peer finished the year 2008 ranked World No. 38 with a Singles record of 26–24 and a doubles record of 19–17

In the 2011 Australian Open, which Peer started as the No. 10 seed. After the tournament, Peer's ranking rose to No. 11, her highest in her career so far, due to Elena Dementieva and Justine Henin leaving the WTA rankings.

Jamie Little (born April 9, 1978) from Las Vegas, Nevada is the NASCAR pit reporter. She is the pit reporter for NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series coverage on ESPN/ABC.

Little joined ESPN in 1998 and covered both the Winter and Summer X Games. Little is a 2001 graduate of San Diego State University. She is well known among the motocross and extreme sports community for being a pit report on ESPN's Motoworld program.

Little is a former pit reporter for ESPN/ABC coverage of the Indy Racing League, although she returned to her pit reporting duty for the 2007 and 2008 Indianapolis 500.

Little won the 2008 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, edging out NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Mike Skinner by 0.324 seconds.
