The subwoofer is the Steel Mate SW826. It is an active subwoofer with a class A/B amplifier, meaning that I don’t have to install a new mono channel power amplifier for it. Well, at least for now.

Due to the space arrangements in my car and the fact that the sub itself is a slim model, I decided that the sub should be installed under the driver’s seat for the time being. It may not be the ideal place for it, but it would have to do until I have the time to tinker on where to install it permanently. I’m quite happy with how it sounds and feels for now. The bass is quite responsive and it gives a lighter feel to the existing speakers. Besides, they’ve been working hard to produce the adequate amount of bass for the past four years. This is probably something that I should’ve done years ago.

Remember when I said that Indonesia won’t beat any country anytime soon in creativity? Apparently my statement clarifies itself after I saw what appears to be the Indonesian copy of the hit TV-show “LOST”. Yes, we should’ve seen it coming.

As I said in Twitter earlier this evening, the “creators” of this TV series is a bunch of fags. Worthless fags. What else do you want to copy next, huh? Heroes? 30 Rock? Fringe? 24? What did you say? You guys have no brains? Well of course you don’t.

Why do stupid assholes keep on copying movies and TV shows like this? It’s simple, stupid TV programs lead to stupid audience, stupid audience lead to stupid, crappy and fake movies and TV shows. And the circle repeats itself.

So let’s see, what is the dumbest animal on Earth? Worms? Goldfish? Insects? Lemmings? WRONG! The answer is these dumbfucks who thought that copying people’s ideas is such a wonderful thing. I’m not going to ask them to be ashamed of themselves, because apparently shame is something that they do not have or born with.

I stumbled across this image that appears to be a promotional poster of an event held by a church’s youth service. Seeing this, I am truly embarrassed, especially as a Christian. This is an example on why we seem to hold this “double standard” on how we treat stealing as a sin. Didn’t we all agree that the seventh commandment is “You shall not steal”?

When I see this picture, all I can think of is that it’s a direct rip-off of Michael Jackson’s “This is It”. No matter how you see it, how you think that you can get away because you did this for a religious cause whatsoever, it’s still a blatant plagiarism. And no, this is not a parody. At all.

So if you think that this is a parody, then you must’ve got it all wrong, as a parody is created to mock, comment, or poke fun on the original version. If you call this a tribute, what tribute? Does God want you to steal other people’s work? Do you even think that He will have this slightest pride upon you for doing this? Does he give you such little and puny creativity that you must steal an idea? That is preposterous. I believe completely that even if it’s only an ugly text in a photocopied piece of paper, God would appreciate that so much more because you didn’t include stealing as a part of the process.

Hey, creator (or should I say copycat?) of this “He is It” poster, you think you’re more religious than I am? Because I mocked you down for your religious and faithful effort to please God? Please, don’t be such a hypocrite when all you can do is stealing people’s work. You should be ashamed of calling yourself faithful to God. Yes, God inspires the praise, but He certainly did not inspire you to steal. This has got to stop, one way or another.

Microsoft just (finally) released its latest iteration of their mobile phone OS, the Windows Phone 7 Series. I don’t know how it would feel on a real smartphone, as all of their previous mobile OS feels astoundingly crappy on any kind of hardware, high end or low end. Yes, I know that although partially it’s the hardware’s and their agonizing touchscreens fault, Windows Mobile 6.5 is still not only a painstaking software to use, but a complete garbage at the same time.

Judging from the video above, I must say that the interface design is impressive. It looks like that it isn’t just pure eye candy but no go like Vista, and it’s probably something that is really usable. Like Surface, perhaps, although I’m not too sure about their built-in browser here, they seem to exclude it from the videos I see. But it’s been ages since Microsoft made me to actually want to try something from them, it doesn’t mean at all that I’m ditching my iPhone, but I’m looking forward to try how this OS feels. Maybe, just like Windows 7, this is what Windows Mobile 6 should’ve been all along.

So where have you been, Microsoft? You should’ve pulled this off years ago. You have the money, resources, and practically everything you need to produce something real good and classy, so what took you so long and dumb enough to keep that ill-fated version 6 torturing people?

And that was when it hit me. Shit. It is not Andreas, it’s some kind of… thing, which sole purpose is to create confusion in your normal life! Apparently “Ni Cp4″ means “Ini siapa?” Okay, you alay, how the fuck people would know what you’re writing, you idiot?

So here’s the story, some time ago, a sales called me if I wanted a gold credit card, and I asked him back if the first annual fee is free or not. He said yes, so okay, fine, sign me up for that. Then, that stupid name mistype fiasco came up. Now, they are sending me the first bill, with a 300k charge printed on it for the annual fee. This is not what I signed up for, so I called them.

They said, there is this promo that if I spend 100k before the end of this month, I will get a “dana belanja” that is worth 300k to be credited to my credit card next month. The customer support said, their policy is to charge the annual fee up front, and this so-called “dana belanja” can be used to cover up my bills. Yes, just as long as I spend another 100k with the card. She said that I should just make the payment for this annual fee, it’s going to be free anyway in a sense, according to them.

So what if I don’t want to use the card next month, or in fact for the entire year? That means, that 300k worth of “dana belanja” is stuck in the card right? And that I have to actually SPEND another 300k to be able to enjoy that friggin “dana belanja”.

I told the officer to cancel the card, but she wanted me to call back tomorrow at office hours. I told her this:

“SAYA NGGA MAU TAHU, MBAK BIKIN LAPORANNYA DAN SAYA MAU MEREKA YANG TELEPON! KALO BESOK SAYA NGGA DITELEPON, AWAS AJA.”

And so she made that report. Nice try, ANZ, better luck next time, I’m canceling the card. And oh, a piece of advice. If you want to trick someone, try someone that’s actually dumber than you, it might just actually work out. Going through things like this with me, seriously, it’ll just make you even dumber than you already are.

Today, one of their officers called me and said that the copy of my identification card that I faxed has my name’s letters too close to each other. No, not squished, but too close to each other. In my understanding, when someone told me “Hey, the letters are too close to each other”, that means that it kerns incorrectly, which probably would look like this:

In theory, unless you have a fax machine that spits out paper horizontally, this is not by any means possible. If the letters were squished vertically like this:

Then it’s possible, perhaps they are using a paper-saving function that condenses the contents of a single page into half a sheet. And of course, there would probably other kinds of variables that could affect my facsimile transmission that isn’t necessary if the typed in my name correctly in the first place. Bottom line, they needed me to fax my identification card again in a bigger size.

So I figured that this was just going to be that other daunting task that has to be done because someone else’s stupidity, but hey, who am I to question the technological advances of a renowned credit card provider, right? So I faxed them this:

That’s a piece of A4 paper and a sandal next to it, just to give you the idea on how big it is. And if they still can’t get my name right this time, maybe the company should change their policy a bit and distribute free prescription glasses to everyone.

And yes, I get cranky when my name is pronounced incorrectly.
