Just a quick post to let you all know that Belles and Storks will be at Napton Village Hall on Sunday 19th August 2012 from 10am until 4pm!

Leamington Christmas Craft Fair

Well…we have been meaning to write this post for ages but with Christmas, New Year and other things in between things have been very busy! At the end of November Belles and Storks had a beautiful (even if we say so ourselves) stall at the Leamington Christmas Craft Fair in the aid of Save the Children. The turnout was amazing – thank you to all those who came to support an excellent cause!

The weekend of the Christmas Craft Fair was opened by David Bradley, otherwise known as Harry Potter’s Argus Filch who kindly gave up most of his morning to mingle with the crowd, sign autographs and speak to all the stallholders (yep we got an autograph!).

We received some wonderful comments on our handmade gifts, in particular our baby booties were very popular, we were even asked more than once if they come in adult sizes (now there’s an idea…). We also showcased our beautiful table runners for the first time! If you look at the picture above you can see a sneak preview of some other new items which will be available through the website soon, including cute baby headbands and crocheted hair bobbles.

Overall the quality of all the crafts on sale was fantastic as was the turnout from near and far and a great weekend was had by all!

We are currently in the process of making some new adorable baby gifts. Starting with these cute floppy eared, soft-bodied rabbits. Each rabbit has his own crocheted dungarees or her own crocheted dress – keeping them nice and cosy.
