The April 22 Washington Nationals-Miami Marlins game at Nationals Park has been rescheduled as part of a traditional, single-admission doubleheader on Friday, August 3, with the first game beginning at 4:05 p.m. The second game will follow at 7:05 p.m. or later, depending on when the first game is completed.

All tickets for the postponed April 22 game can be exchanged at the Nationals Park Box Office for seats of equal or lesser value for the August 3 doubleheader or any remaining regular or value home game during the 2012 regular season*. All tickets for the August 3 game will be valid for both games of the doubleheader.

The April 22 Ryan Zimmerman Kids Jersey giveaway has been rescheduled for the Nationals-Braves game on Sunday, June 3. The first 10,000 fans ages 12 and under to enter Center Field Gates for the 1:35 p.m. game will receive a Zimmerman Kids Jersey presented by MASN.

The Chicago White Sox are launching their first Hide-N-Tweet of the baseball season, giving fans the opportunity to win prizes and interact on social media, this Friday in anticipation of the first game of the BP Crosstown Cup.

Clues for the Hide-N-Tweet will be posted on the official White Sox Twitter account, @WhiteSox ortwitter.com/WhiteSox, providing fans with hints on destinations across the city of Chicago, along with and instructions on what to do when they arrive at the locations.  Fans will be asked to race to solve each Hide-N-Tweet code, reach the destination point and perform the action specified in the tweet.  The first fan to complete the task will win special prizes and be recognized on Twitter and Facebook.

The New York Mets have been awarded Major League Baseball’s 2013 All-Star Game and will host the 84^th Midsummer Classic at Citi Field, Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced today at a press conference at City Hall.  Commissioner Selig was joined by the Mayor of New York, the Honorable Michael R. Bloomberg, and New York Mets Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Fred Wilpon.

The 2013 All-Star Game will mark the second time that the Mets, who are commemorating their 50^th anniversary in 2012, will host the Midsummer Classic.  Shea Stadium hosted the 1964 All-Star Game, a 7-4 National League victory that featured 21 participating Hall of Famers, including Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Frank Robinson, as well as MLB’s Executive Vice President for Baseball Operations, Joe Torre.  (Highlights of the 1964 All-Star Game at Shea Stadium are available here, courtesy of MLB Productions: http://atmlb.com/JjiQ9W.)  It will be the ninth All-Star Game in Baseball history to be played in New York City, which is the most of any host city.
