Enough of the shame part and my readers, a paragraph is enough for that, lets now talk about me. Me. Me. Me. There’s a reason why this blog is called BendzG.com and that’s cause it’s all about me. Nothing more, nothing less. Paragraph one about me is done so now let’s proceed with paragraph two.

The reason why I stopped blogging for a while again is because of my eyes. Been wearing glasses since 10 and my myopia-slash-astigmatism has gotten from worst to exponentially extreme worstdome (it’s not even a word) since I got my eee PC. Clearly, I haven’t taken into account how my eyes sucked when I got this thing with the 7-inch screen. I’m using it right now for this entry and I’m about to puke. I would have stopped had I have some better things to do.

For paragraph three, let’s focus on my lazy side. What could be lazier than spending your 2 days of rest lying on your newly procured twin-sized air-bed watching DVD reruns of US TV series. Oh yes, I got an ample supply of those. They sell it like hotcakes here thanks to it’s prize. Even Edu Manzano could not stop them with those expensive Ako Mismo ads on TV. I’m still on the first season of Ally McBeal and I’m starting to wonder people loved this show. I got derailed by the fourth season of Criminal Minds and the third season of South Park so it might take me 2 months to finish boring Ally. I still have the season three of British TV’s Skins waiting and some copies of old Richard Gere and Julia Roberts movies so it might take me another 2 months to buy new DVD’s. Not sure about it though.

I watched Transformers 2 yesterday and I loved it. I paid for the explosions and the CGI animations and not the story so I got my 160 pesos worth of excitement for more than two hours. Had I expected a good story, I would have picked Hanah Montana… maybe not.

I started tracking my expenses, by the way. It took me 3 hours to create an excel file just for such purpose only to use it for a week. It’s hard to keep tabs of my money simply because i’m tired of counting coins. I’ll revisit this practice when I earn big time and have more bills instead.

I’m reading again and this time my eyes are set to classics. It’s hard to look for one in my local bookstore so I get them through Project Guttenburg cause it’s free and they have a long list of it. I recently finished Hemingway’s Oldman and the Sea and Ayn Rand’s Anthem. They’ll definitely be added to my Facebook profile under favorite authors. Dan Brown sucks compared to these two geniuses.

I’ll be reading other ebooks once I get through with Dick. I logged for Dick since Jessica Zafra mentioned dick on her blog and how she loved it. I mean the author Philip K. Dick not the anatomical dick. Currently reading Follow My Tears, The Police Man Said. Not sure if I’ll like the plot since it sounds like the movie, The Net on the back cover. It’s the only Dick available on NBS so I grabbed it. Geeze, talking about Dick sounds lascivious. My friend told me to read a Dickens. He said his prose are nice. I took his words under advisement. I’m not sure I’ll be ready for another Dick-y author after this one.

The Trinoma scandal is supposedly video taped in Trinoma, a mall cum activity center owned by the Ayala Group.

This new Trinoma scandal offers nothing new. Just another couple f’ing.

Does Bong Revilla or Jamby Madrigal, or any politician seeking term extention or higher office know about this? Perhaps they do but none of them will be making those long speeches this time cause the Trinoma scandal people are not popular, they are not even pleasing to the eye.

Bea Alonzo scandal

It’s too late for this blog to keyword stuff for Hayden Kho Bea Alonzo scandal cause media attention on this issue already reach it’s plateau… or is it?

Bea Alonzo already made a comment on the talks that she has a scandal involving the now infamous Hayden Kho. Bea said she don’t know Hayden personally making the Hayden Kho Bea Alonzo Scandal video inexistent unless of course somebody morphed their faces which can now be done thanks to the wonders of CGI.

I think the rumors of Bea Alonzo’s scandal is just an attempt to grab a piece of the media attention just like Yasmin Kurdi’s case against Baron Geisler for exposing himself in front of her. It’s captured in a video apparently and are starting to circulate the Internet labeled as the Baron Geisler scandal which is now a Google keyword.

The strings of scandals cropping up in the Philippines this seasons reminds me of the Edison Chen scandal which hit Taiwan last year. A lot of names got involved and even those who were packaged as wholesome artists were exposed in there carnal glory. So, perhap this Bea Alonzo scandal rumors has some grain of truth to it.

Today I had one of the best days of my life. With some friends, an impromptu trip to one of Maasin City’s famous beaches was conjured up as I wait for the clock to tick 10 PM—for my scheduled trip back to the Queen City of the South. It turns out as something more than a beach trip though and it’s all thanks to the monsoons (I cannot, however, tell you which type).

The waves were not as big as those in Siargao but it’s enough to send a 330-pounder tumbling to the shores if one is not careful and strong enough to withstand it’s force, which makes it more fun and exciting (like Lady Gaga’s idea of making love). This has been the most straining activity I’ve done in about a year and it’s aftermath can now be felt with every movement of my body. With doubt as to the next step to take, still clouding my mind, today’s fun escapade ended up with me climbing the steps of the only ship bound from Maasin to Cebu, M/V Filipinas Ilo-ilo (a vessel I once boarded after a weeks trip to Boracay about three years ago).

A Facebook buddy once said that doubt is a gift, cause it puts us between two certainties and perhaps that’s how i should look at it. I’m drafting this blog post on board the ship but that does not mean that I already decided to stay where I am now—in Cebu, basking in the agony of adult life and striving to survive the next day just like people who leave the comforts of their hometown in search for a pasteur, greener or otherwise. What it means still has to be deciphered based on the events which will happen in the next three days or so.

As I told Cherry Dy, a friend of mine, I don’t really have any life plans, and if I do, it will be something written in a pencil to make editing a breeze. All major decisions, starting from my bid for the SK Federations presidency, had ways been made on the spur of the moment based on how I decipher the signs. I have some regrets along the way but it’s nothing major. Besides those bumps, I could say that I’ve been generally happy. Or perhaps, I just tried to be. (See how fickle I am?)

For someone who does not practice his faith on the divine as much as any church going Tom, Dick and Harry, I believe that somehow, the Fates would lead me to the right path to take just like a prophet being led by god.

Now that, is blasphemy.

June 2009

The Nursing Board Exam will be conducted on the 6th and the 7th and thousands of nursing aspirants around the Philippines will be taking it in the hopes of getting their much deserved licenses after several years of studying and reviewing. The Nursing Board Exam is also called The Nursing Licensure Exam, in case you did not know.

A couple of friends and acquaintances of mine as well as former colleagues will be undergoing the June 2009 Nursing Board Exam in Tacloban, the regional center of region 8. I’m not sure about the numbers but a lot of Nursing students from the College of Maasin will also be undergoing the June 2009 Nursing Board Exam as well.

Just like before, I will be posting the June 2009 Nursing Board Exam Resuls here so don’t forget to suscribe to my RSS by filling out your email bellow. Expect two to three weeks after the exam for the results as everything now is computerize.

I wish all who would take the June 2009 NLE a good luck and pray for god’s blessings. I just wish that if you guys will pass, you would not waste your time working for a call center. It’s just a waste of your parents investment.
