I just set up a new page on my website for posting old recordings I’ve worked on in the past.. mainly from the 1990′s through early 2000′s. Yeah.. well.. of course they are anything but perfect.. and often embarrassing bad pitches and mistakes etc.
http://www.benjapathic.com/obsa01.html
The recordings are basically work-in-progress songs that were never seriously finished or polished. In fact.. I’m not sure if I was really capable of doing that then.. because this was all done on my old hardware music equipment.. with limited mixing capability. Most were recorded in the living room of my apartment.. or.. I may also include some that I did while living in Tokyo. I’m just sort of picking and choosing stuff I liked that came out somewhat decent. Not sure how much I’ll put up.. I don’t want to spend too much time on the past.. but we did put a lot of time and work into ...

I went ahead and ordered a couple new things tonight.. continuing the upgrade to my recording setup. I really want to be able to make the best quality I can.. so I finally caved on this product I had been eye-balling for a while

It’s the SE Electronics Reflexion Filter Ambience Control … a nifty piece of hardware that sorta helps give you that cleaner studio recording sound without the whole studio…
The price is about $300.. I suppose that seems a bit steep.. but the online store American Musical Supply has this great Easy Payment system.. so my purchase is split into 3 or 5 monthly payments, depending on the qualifying balance of the purchase. This has always made it so much easier for me to be able to afford to buy stuff without having to brunt the full cost upfront. I highly recommend this store to anyone.. I’ve been buying from them for over ...
