Am a bit busy with our new daughter - Murphy #3 - lovin’ it! …but won’t be posting a whole lot the next few weeks. In fact, will be transitioning my whole site over to BlueHost during this down time as well… Look for a much better site come July — a site that I can update (along with my Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, etc.) all off my new iPhone; it’s going to be cool! GQ just published a brilliant and ballsy article in their latest issue about the December 2008 Harriman, Tennessee coal ash spill… 100 times bigger than the Exxon Valdez disaster. Did you hear about it in the news? No, me neither. Read this piece by Sean Flynn and educate yourselves about the absolute lie that is ‘clean coal’, the failure that is our populist media, and our Country’s suicidal fetish for energy… (did I mince words?) -B

So, here’s the deal… I think art should be accessible. I believe that strongly. So strongly, in fact, that all my work can be downloaded from Flickr.com/BENMURPHYONLINE.
I had an ImageKind shop; they’re great folks, but it was a pain for me to maintain. And I really like this approach better, so here we go! There’s only 3 rules:
RULE #1 Download my work, print it, put it on your wall, enjoy it! Pay me what you want. Seriously! Nothing, $10, $50, $500, whatever you want is awesome. (Hey, if Radiohead can do it, so can I!)
RULE #2 Enjoy my work, but don’t sell it. If you do you will be sued. No joke.
RULE #3 Spread the word! If you like my work and are hanging it on your wall, spread the word! Post it to your blog, link folks to my site, tell others to check out my work. Always appreciated!
