Flickr has released a new application to upload photos directly from your BlackBerry to your Flickr account. If you have a BlackBerry with a camera, you can take photos and upload them directly to Flickr. If you don’t have a camera on your BlackBerry, you still can upload any photo saved on your device.

BlackBerry Wallet, a free, over-the-air app, keeps credit card numbers and other personal information accessible and secure. This little app is fairly powerful and features good integration with other BlackBerry applications. It even keeps your affinity card and frequent shopper card numbers handy, so it could actually lighten your ‘real’ wallet.

TripIt – Automatic itinerary and trip details to your BlackBerry

If you travel much, this is one web-app I think you will find useful. Simply forward your booking email confirmation (from any provider) to plans@tripit.com and let TripIt take things from there. The system, which is free to use, will then automatically scour your itinerary for information and then build a portfolio of useful information for you. Once you have your itinerary sent over, simply access all your information through the website m.tripit.com. TripIt pulls information from many sources such as Google, NOAA, SeatGuru, Wikipedia, Eventful, Flickr, and OpenTable. Pretty cool stuff. From TripIt:

Facebook for BlackBerry Application

At first, this didn’t seem like the most natural fit (BlackBerry users tend to be businesspeople, not Facebook’s primary audience), but the application is pretty awesome for all BlackBerry-wielding Facebook users out there.

Facebook for BlackBerry has really tight integration with the BlackBerry operating system, so many of the features “fit right in” with the rest of the device. For example, when you get a new notification sent to your BlackBerry (which is customizable) you get a notification icon on the top of the BlackBerry home screen, just like the current new voicemail or new message icons. It shows a little “F” when you have a new message. Great stuff.

You can even upload photos from the BlackBerry device’s memory straight to Facebook.

Sorry for the older BlackBerry 7290 image, but it was what Google provided. Also, this is now part of the Google Apps for BlackBerry/Google Mobile Updater.

Google Talk is pretty awesome. The integration level between the BlackBerry itself and the application is superb. It works much like BlackBerry Messenger, but even better!

Google GMail for BlackBerry

I love GMail. It is powerful, easy to use, and just works. This is pretty much the same thing with the free GMail application for BlackBerry. Once installed, you just log in with your Google Account or GMail address. It will sync everything with your GMail account.

Be sure to check out how much fun the guy whose account is pictured to the left is having. Suprise parties, sushi, BBQs and trips to Hawaii. See, if you use GMail, your life will be better!

Google Notebook for BlackBerry

I started using the Google Notebook plugin for Firefox when it was launched some time ago. It is really useful for grabbing little notes from sites as you wander the internet (or World Wide Web, for those of you still on CompuServe.) I found the limitation to Google Notebook was that you had to be at your computer to use it. This has been solved with the mobile version.

I like the ability to grab an address or some small bit of information and have access to it on my BlackBerry. I have to imagine that Google will add a mobile launcher to the Google Apps for Mobile suite.
