getting there

July 2nd.

Just 6 days before we move in to the new office. And yet, I don’t even have the faintest idea on how to get there. I’ve been hearing complaints that it is so hard to get a cab from the new building going out of McKinley Hills.

So I thought even if I’d be brave enough to bring a car, I would badly need gps systems installed or I’d surely drive in circles.

My plan is to ride a cab from our house to MRT. Then my stop would be Ayala. Then take a cab from there to the office. Sheesh, tiring. Sigh.

Today is the first day that all of my daughter’s classmates are meeting each other in class. You see, for the first two weeks, they were grouped in 4, one group attended the MWFTTh while the other one TThMWF (confusing huh?). Simply put, the classes were staggered in the first two weeks.

I must give away Mikee’s invites for Friday’s school party. She is celebrating her birthday with her 8 classmates, who are all boys by the way. I was able to scrap a car-themed invitation. I used some Ferrari parts (or something that looks like them) elements.

Why car-themed you might ask. First, she likes playing with cars, and riding in them (well except for those with a scary “mascot” riding it too hahaha). Plus, like I said, her classmates are all boys. And, the boxes for the doughnuts are well, car boxes.

Yes, I’m excited.

I need a break

I did the mistake of staying up late for work. Well, not that I have a choice. I should just have slept earlier to prepare for the sleepless night. Because of this, I had to cancel one appointment and had been so sluggish the whole day resulting to me being so unproductive.

It would be nice to just escape from all of these. It would help if I could sleep at 9pm, 8 hours for 5 straight days. I couldn’t help checking some vacation rentals in Outer Banks. A vacation would give me that boost, the energy back. Sigh. I’m going back to bed.

medical supplies

Three of my husband’s cousins are nurses. So sometimes, they show us some of their medical supplies. I was quite familiar with some but I got curious with one item. Between giggles, I was told it is a mentor external catheter.

They told us that these are used by men who are in hospital beds and too weak to walk or those who are in wheelchairs. It eliminates the burden of going back in and out of the bathroom. It could be tiring to sick people, especially old men. They said that for their patients who are home based, they order online at Allegro Medical. Most of their medical supply needs, they order from the said site.

I’m not sure why but I’ve gone too lazy to upload photos. I can’t believe it myself because I used to enjoy it so much. I guess, I’m too busy with other things that when it’s time to upload, I simply have no drive to.

But one thing hasn’t changed, I still love taking pictures, much to my husband’s dismay.
