Acne scar removal treatments by dermatologist??

Are there any procedures that can be done for my acne scarred skin. Most of my scars are on my cheeks and it is just really horrible looking. I am so young, I’m only 18 and my skin is ruined with these marks. Can anyone tell me of some treatments that can be done for my skin and how much it will cost and where to get it done. I would even go to a plastic surgeon if there is a way for them to get rid of my scars. I would like whatever they do to be permanent! Please let me know the best thing to have done!

Dry skin around mouth?

Okay so basically every morning when i wake up my skin is super dry around my mouth.And i’m wondering why!

The night before i always cleanse my face, wash off the makeup, you know. Then I apply a really good moisturizer .

But no matter how much of that moistrizer is put on, my skin aorund mouth is still dry! GRRR. and it’s perfectly normal everywhere else on my face..

Anyone else have this.. and any solutions?

Or am i just a freak =[

Help for dry skin around my mouth?

I have these stubborn, red, dry skin patches along the side of my mouth, and they seem to be caused mostly by a combination of shaving and the drying effects of toothpaste. My skin is also sensitive. How can I prevent this and how can I help clear up these dry skin patches? My skin may be dry on other parts of my body, but it is not as bad as my mouth. I already use Eucerin and take omega 3s, and sometimes borage oil cream. If this gets worse I'll see a dermatologist, but anyone got any tips? Thanks.

VERY dry skin around mouth & lips?

Okay so this never happened to me before. I got this for the first time a month ago & I put Vaseline on it & after a week or so it healed. But a couple of days ago it started again. I have VERY VERY dry skin around my mouth (right under my nose) & my lips are really dry too. & Parts of my skin & lips are red & it burns a little.

Is there any treatment for the skin disease Pemphigus Vulgaris? How can pain from the blisters be mitigated?

I have been suffering from this disease for the last 5 years. The blisters come in all seasons. Sometimes they will come one after the other. Sometimes there will be a gap of one to two months. At a time two to three may also be there. They come mostly on the legs, thighs, buttocks and around the genital organ. It starts as a small tip, grows further until it bursts when puss and blood come out. Scars are left at the place. The blisters irritate me and interefere with my daily activities as the pain until they are cleared becomes unberable. The skin specialist whom I consulted said there is no cure and there is no medicine even for the pain. I take pain killers with the risk of the side effects involved. Is not there any treatment for this diseaase? Is there any traditional method of mitigating the pain from the blisters apart from taking antibiotics/pain killers? Experts in skin diseases or those who suffer from the same disease may please help me by sharing their knowledge/views.

Can mental health drugs cause acne?

I’m on several drugs for (well documented) Bipolar disorder type 1: Lamictal, Lithium, Effexor, Zyprexa, Seroquel, Provigil, and a few for other illnesses: Advair, Singulair, and Nexium. Could these be the cause of my unrelenting acne? I even have scars from them and it’s embarrasing to be in my 30′s and have acne. I do not break or pick the pimples. The acne just won’t go away, despite many skin treatments containing salacylic acid (My skin turned beet red from benzoyl peroxide). I use antibacterial soap and a soft washcloth on my face twice a day then I put the salycilic acid gel on my entire face. I can’t take the antibiotics that are sometimes given for acne because they screw up my stomach. What can I do?

I was never really the type of person to have ance. I come from a big family with clear skin. But for some reason I started breaking out very terribly( it might have been from the change of makeup I did back in september ) Well , My ance has gone away , but now I face a new challenge. Natural skin care products?

I have pretty sensitive skin because I have a skin disease called atopic dermatitis (similar to eczema). I would really love to use more natural skin care products, but I find that a lot of them are irritating to my skin or aren’t effective. I’ve tried Burt’s Bee’s products, nature’s gate, etc.

Right now the only things that keep my skin rash-free and soft are Cetaphil body lotion and then Clinique face lotion. My fear is that since these products are full of chemicals that they can somehow cause damage or harm in the future.

Does anything have natural skin care suggestions for me? Do you think my use of the above skin care products will cause issues? Thanks!
I have a very healthy diet and walk/jog almost every day. A healthy lifestyle isn’t the issue because I’ve had atopic dermatitis and asthma since I was 6 weeks old. I only cleanse my face with water, but I absolutely have to use lotion after the shower, or else my skin will dry out.

In my field of work I deal with a lot of elders. I have grown cautious of how I take care of my skin in my youth. I have been using some anti-aging products and I was wondering if there are any studies that show that these products actual work. I can’t see myself using Botox or having surgery later on in life, but I still want to look “fresh” and wrinkle free. I have also heard and (see) that the more melanoma in the skin, the better the skin ages. There are some 40something black women in my master’s program and I swear they look 25! Plus, I see women in there 50s who use to tan and they look extremely wrinkled. Is there something black women are using that the rest of women don’t know about?

hey guys, so here’s my dilemma, I’m 22 years old and I’ve never really taken the liberty of caring for my skin .. and a few days ago i realised that if i dont start looking after my skin then im going to age not so gracefully..

ive been researching products for skin care (i.e facial cleansers toners mosturisers) and also anti-aging products..

there are so many brands and they all seem good but i need advice and referrals from real people with real experiences…

my skin is in bad shape, i don’t drink water (like at all) and the only time my face is hydrated is when i have a shower twice a day… i tend to wash my face with shampoo or soap, i fair oily skin but dry in some areas i have HUGE pores in the area under my eyes, (which are not good for the self-esteem) … i have break outs and alot of blemishes along my cheeks and chin.
