With the competition is getting intense with Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android 4.2.2 onboard), HTC One is surely feeling the heat. The Taiwanese flagship smartphone was launched back in March with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, and it looks like the company might soon roll out the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the smartphone as well. According to a tweet from an HTC Developer, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One smartphone could be rolled out as soon as two or three weeks from now. However, there is no official word on the potential software update, so take it with a pinch of salt.

The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for HTC One is expected to bring some new features to the smartphone that include lock screen widgets, stock gesture enhanced keyboard, quick settings option and many more such features.

At the beginning of 2013, Only Samsung was providing original Android handset with warranty in Bangladesh. But with a few months Sony and now Huawei start giving official sales support in Bangladesh for all their handsets. Fortunately Singer Bangladesh is doing the job and the mobile phones are available in Singer Mega, Singer Plus and Singer Pro showrooms around Bangladesh. Sony Xperia Z is now officially available in Bangladesh for 59,900 taka

Having fallen slightly by the wayside in the recent smartphone stakes, Sony is back with its biggest and best handset to date, the 5-inch Sony Xperia Z. The Xperia Z is Sony's flagship phone for this year, and continues the screen size and resolution arms race with its 1,920x1,080 display. It also has all the specifications you would expect from a high-end smartphone, including a quad-core 1.5GHz processor and a camera with a huge 13-megapixel sensor.

Pairing a selection of premium innards with a raft of new, consumer appeasing features, the handset plays host to the likes of an IP57 waterproof coating. Panasonic announces quad-core P51 in India, priced at $517

Panasonic has launched its first Android smartphone in India, P51 with quad core CPU. Panasonic P51 has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB of RAM. P51 also features an 8 megapixel rear camera with the ability to shoot 1080p videos, 1.3 megapixel front camera and 4 GB of internal memory that can be expanded via the microSD card slot. The device measures 144 x 75 x 8.5mm and weighs 135g. Panasonic P51 runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the juice for smartphone is provided by a 2,500mAh battery.

Panasonic P51 is priced at INR 26,900 (around $517) and the retail package include a magnetic flip cover and a stylus. The smartphone will be available from the next week. No words have been heard yet about its worldwide availability.

Android phones started its debut when Google decided to financially support Linux in producing this operating system way back in 2005. Two years after, the first android phone was released by Samsung, as noted, thus making this system a great possession for any mobile devices that would like to compete with Apple. Google collaborated with Linux on improving Android, thus, applied its code under Apache License which made it accessible for any mobile phone brands. This is the start of it all. Android 4.2.2 firmware with Sense 5.1 inside HTC Butterfly leaks

A system dump of the HTC Butterfly (International version of the Verizon Droid DNA), running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense 5.1 UI has leaked. The upcoming Android 4.2.2 upgrade for the HTC Butterfly smartphone also comes with the BlinkFeed homescreen we've come to know from the HTC One. The latest Sense UI has an added option to switch back to the stock home screen, which displays only widgets and shortcuts.

The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with the latest Sense 5.1 UI seems to be smooth and is said to enhance the performance of the device with few minor tweaks and other improvements. This new Jelly Bean OS offers you quick shortcuts and toggles in the notifications and the tapping on the toggles on Sense 5 activates the toggle as opposed to the stock Android, which takes you the Settings page. As you already know, the toggles and the quick shortcuts can be accessed by swiping two fingers down the screen.

Unfortunately, the HTC Zoe, the advanced imaging technology seen on the One, will not be available in this build. However, HTC might still add the Zoe in the final version of the OS. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom might have 10X optical zoom functionality

Another very juicy rumor is flashed by Sammobile mentioning one great capability of Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. According to Hi-Tech.ru the Galaxy S4 Zoom will have an optical zoom of 10 times. If you are familiar with the technical term, Nokia PureView 808 have only 3X optical zoom. The Galaxy S4 Zoom is expected to have a 4.3” qHD AMOLED display and a 16 megapixel camera sensor (same as Samsung Galaxy Camera). Samsung also receives their bluetooth certification on the Galaxy S4 Zoom too.

We expect Samsung to announce the Galaxy S4 Zoom this month. The device must be available before the summer months. If you have not read my previous article about Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, then take a look there asap.

The Japanese electronics stalwart manufacturer Sony has lined up quite a number of Android based phones after its break up with Ericsson. The market although seems to be not so warm to a few of them but given their cost and efficiency factors, they are still quite a favorite.

1. Sony Xperia Z
Topping the list of all Android offerings is the company's flagship handset called Sony Experia Z, it's water resistant and dust proof mobile phone that can survive being under 1 metre water for about 30 minutes. Released in March 2013 this new entrant android phone weighs 146 gms and is loaded with the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Xperia user interface. It is powered by the quad-core processor by Snapdragon S4 chipset with 1.5 GHz Krait 200 cores and Adreno 320 GPU. It also comes with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (with microSD card support) and a 5" Thin-Film Transistor display with HD resolution. It also has the signature Sony camera fittings of 13 MP HD cameras with HD video recording capabilities.

2. Sony Experia T
before Xperia Z, Sony Xperia T holds the flagship claim for Sony in 2012. It has a 4.6" HD display unit with 443 ppi backed by its signature bravia engine. The latest snapdragon 1.5 GHz dual CPU makes the mobile phone swift and efficient too. It also has the finesse of Sony's camera fittings to bring in the best photos and video possible from its 13 MP HD camera and 1080p HD video. Here is my 6 month old Samsung Galaxy S3

Hello everyone. How are you? I have been using Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB white model for the last six months. So I am here to share my device’s condition with you. First of all I wanna say you that I am not using any screen protector and cover/casing for my S3. Because I love my phone’s beauty. So don’t find any reason to hide it. I am over confident with the front Gorilla Glass 2 and cheap plastic Samsung used on the back. Please click on the image to view it in full size.

So here’s my phone for you. There are only 3 minor scratch in my phone’s display which are visible in any camera’ eye I have in my house. So I can assure you that those 3 are nothing.

There is absolutely no dent on my phone’s edge. It’s totally clean and fine. There’s nothing to complain here. The things you are seeing is the dust over my phone. As I live beside road so it’s always dusty!

Now look as the back. There are some scratches there but you can’t see those unless you look very closely to the device. It’s the main advantages of plastic back. Both dust and scratch are not find the back of S3 very useful! But there are some fading in the back. Because most of the time I hold phone to my sweaty hand it’s not very surprising to me. Because all the gadgets I am using have the same issue. So if you have same problem like then try to avoid any white color device.

Now about button and lens. I have no complaint about Samsung Galaxy S3 camera lense, home button, volume/power button. The earpiece, microphone and speaker still working flawlessly!

So here are my thoughts-
I never gonna go for aluminium if there is a plastic alternative available. Because they look marvellous at the store. But after few days of use they look ugly. And using those device without protection is still science fiction. So Samsung Galaxy S4 is the perfect Android gadget out there for me no matter HTC One or Sony Xperia Z look amazing beside S4.

But i have to admit that after Android 4.1.2 upgrade my phone freezes few times. And the battery performance of Samsung Galaxy S3 is very poor. Though i am heavy user but still i want more from my heavy-weight gadget.

Samsung Galaxy camera oriented Phone is coming

Samsung is surely ruling every aspect of mobile world without the camera functionality only. Best cameraphone title is sticks with Nokia PureView 808 for a while now, before that Sony Cyber-Shot series had the crown. It looks like Samsung is preparing something big for the market targeting camera lovers. According to Sammobile Samsung’s first camera phone, the Galaxy S4 Zoom 9codename SM-C1010) is coming in June/July this year. Samsung will use 16 megapixel sensor inside the phone. We are not sure that its the same camera sensor like the Galaxy Camera. Unforunately Samsung downgraded the screen size of the Galaxy S4 Zoom to a 4.3” qHD SAMOLED display. The phone self-will have 8 GB of storage, MicroSD up to 64 GB, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, A-GPS. Android Jelly Bean will power the hardware with Samsung’s own Touch Wiz Nature UX interface. The processor is likely to be dual-core or quad-core sadly the processor and RAM aren’t finally decided yet.

I am hoping two exclusive feature will be coming with Galaxy S4 Zoom. One if Xenon flash and another is some kind of mechanical lens capable of optical zooming. I am quite sure about the flash but optical zoom may be too much to ask at this moment. The Galaxy S4 Zoom will come in 2 colours black and white.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is not the company's only attempt to build something like this. In 2009 Samsung released a mobile phone with 12 megapixel camera and 3x optical zoom. Which was not a successful product of that time. I hope Samsung will make everything working in this time.

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Core smartphone. The Galaxy Core is a mid-range device and comes with optional dual-SIM support. It is a 4.3 inch device that is aimed right at the corner of mid-range level. Said 4.3-inch display has 800 x 480 resolution and packed beneath it are a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot, an 1,800mAh battery, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Android 4.1 and more.

The device has some of Samsung’s latest features such as Smart Stay, Smart Alert, S Voice and all the motion features you can dive into. The dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy Core will go on sale this month and the single-SIM variant will go on sale in July. Availability depends upon the market.

Sony Xperia Z is now on sale in US

Japanese mobile phone maker Sony has finally decided to make the Xperia Z flagship Android smartphone available for purchase in the United States through its online store, with a price tag of $630 attached to it. Good news is it is unlocked. Bad news is it will only work on AT&T’s HSPA+ network and there is no LTE here. All color options are available: black, white, and purple, and the phone comes with free 2-day shipping. Model number of this Xperia Z is C6602, keep in mind that LTE Xperia Z will carry the tag C6606.

The Xperia Z is Sony's flagship phone for 2013, and continues the screen size and resolution arms race with its 5in, 1,920x1,080 display. It also has all the specifications you would expect from a high-end smartphone, including a quad-core 1.5GHz processor and a camera with a huge 13-megapixel sensor.

Sony also dropped the price tag of the Xperia ZL, which was launched with support for North American LTE networks packed inside. This device is currently available for purchase through Sony at $629.99, the same as Xperia Z. Despite the price cut, Newegg is still cheaper at $610 and has all three colours in stock.

Does it really matter which charger you are using?

Charge: the most common term for any smartphone users. As our mobiles become smart within a very short time but the batteries are failed to maintain the speed. So we all have to charge our devices one or few times each day. Though all of us have more than one device to carry we have one breathing point, charging port. All the present devices use the same micro USB charging port except Apple devices. This has been a huge relief for us.

But the problem lies with the latest smartphone I think. As the batteries are getting bigger, it needs more time to charge to 100%. So should you do? Can you use a fast more amp charger? They all charge at 5 V, the smart controller for charging the battery is inside the phone, and it determines how much voltage the battery receives during the charging cycle. Not the charger, like a dumb charger used to charge a car battery, which changes its output voltage. The standard allows for charger supplies ranging from 300 milliamps to 1 amp, and the phone can actually inquire what the capacity of the charger is through the USB data line.

The Increasing the charge voltage causes the battery to draw more current depending on the state of charge. The trick is we have both a smart charger and a smart battery in his phone. Lithium-ion batteries actually contain circuitry to prevent them from being overcharged inside the battery. So it means if your phone comes with a 5V and 1amp charger, charging with 2amp charger means nothing for you. As I have a 2amp Galaxy Tab 2 charger in my house. I already used it to charge my Samsung Galaxy S3 which comes with a 1amp charger. And my finding is Galaxy S3 does it best with its own charger. But yes charging it with computer USB line or other charger will take a lot of time because modern PC USB port’s current output is limited to .5amp.

So spend wisely. Don’t buy a fast charger before knowing everything about it.

The main distinction of the RAZR i comes via its processing power, as well as its impressive screen size for its cost. Samsung Galaxy S Tab images and specs leaked

Its a while we haven't seen any wow tablets from Samsung. But the rumor mill is powering up for the next Galaxy Tab already. It will be known as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus or Samsung Galaxy S Tab. As the rumor has it Samsung might change the naming convention for the new Galaxy Tab 3 lineup and call it Galaxy S Tab after the successful Galaxy S smartphones. The tablet’s design looks much like the Galaxy Note 8.0 and features the new Galaxy S4 lockscreen wallpaper.

Samsung’s own Exynos 5410 Octa chipset should be powering the Tab – a 1.6GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 and a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processors, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and PowerVR SGX 544MP3 graphics, sounds like Galaxy S4 here. The tab is supposed to pack a 10-inch 2560×1600 pixels (300ppi) SuperAMOLED Pentile or PLS LCD display.

This tab also features a 8MP rear camera with 1080p video, a 2MP front snapper, 32/64GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, an IR blaster and a 9000mAh battery unit.
