EOS-M Digital Camera with EF-M 22mm f/2 STM Lens from Canon is Canon’s first mirrorless digital camera and it rises to the standards of the great Canon name. An 18.0 MP CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 5 Image Processor ensure high performance and exceptional image quality for both photo and video and ultra-fast focusing is delivered via the Hybrid CMOS AF system. ISO sensitivity ranges from 100-12800 and expands to 25600 for quality details when shooting at high zoom and in low light.

A 3.0″ Clear View LCD monitor II offers multi-touch operation including Touch Auto-focus. A 1040K-dot, smudge-resistant coated LCD with Clear View technology means that your display will remain easy to view, focus, control and playback even in bright outdoor conditions. The touch screen operation is designed to be an easy to scroll and control intuitive experience.

The EOS-M is a complete image capture system providing Full HD Movie and a range of resolution and frame rates to expand creative video making. Movie Servo AF means continuous AF tracking on moving subjects for fluid focus transitions and a built-in stereo microphone with manual audio level adjustment equals the type of control that can create high quality video productions. Video Snapshot for making short video clips is also included.

The EOS-M comes complete with a new M-mount 22mm f/2 STM lens. This is a compact “pancake” lens that offers the 35mm equivalent of a 35mm lens. A perfect prime lens focal length to start this new system. Of course, the best thing about Canon bringing their first mirrorless camera to the market is that the full range of Canon EF and EF-S lenses are now available to use on a compact digital camera system. An optional EF lens adapter is needed to use this great line of Canon lenses but the creative possibilities are endless.

The EOS-M is a camera for every level of photographer and there will be no shortage of pro shooters interested in testing out their Canon lenses on this important new camera, but the amateur and even beginner should feel comfortable knowing that they too are also part of this new day. Scene Intelligent Auto is the most intuitive automatic camera mode available from Canon and provides complete scene analysis and optimized settings. As they say, it lets the camera do the work. Auto functions are particularly helpful when shooting with tricky light and at night and Scene Intelligent Auto is ideal for night shooting. Combined with Multi Shot Noise Reduction which preserves details when shooting at high ISO speeds and Handheld Night Scene mode, low-light photography is a joy with the EOS-M. HDR Backlight Control mode is also a wonderful assistive feature for shooting in tough light. The camera shoots the same image three times simultaneously in different exposures and combines them to create one properly balanced, dynamic photo.

Add to this package creative functions and seven filter options and the EOS-M provides the total spectrum of shooting possibilities from beginner auto to pro control. A compact mirrorless Canon camera with a fast kit lens and full range of compatible Canon lenses.

Speedlite 90EX Flash for Canon EOS M Camera from Canon is a featherweight (1.76 oz) shoe mount flash that’s ideal for the Canon mirrorless EOS M digital camera. It has a guide number of 30′ and provides coverage for lenses as wide as 24mm (35mm format equivalent).

Canon EF-M 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens is a standard zoom lens that’s exclusively designed for EOS M Digital Camera. The focal length is equivalent to approx. 28-90 mm in 35 mm format. This makes it ideal as a basic everyday lens.

Geo Tactical Solutions, Inc. (GTS) expands product line of advanced GPS-enabled digital cameras to include Canon EOS digital SLRs. The DSLR cameras are coupled with a GeoMapr GPS module to achieve advanced geo-tagging capabilities that were previously only available in the Ricoh G700SE-M GPS camera. In addition to the superior quality and functionality provided by a Canon DSLR, GeoMapr adds powerful features including GPS and compass heading, recording object location, attaching descriptive memos to images, integrating data with mapping/GIS applications, and SAASM GPS compatibility.

We have had a lot of positive feedback from our customers in regards to the capabilities offered by the G700SE-M Rugged GPS camera and wanted to make it possible to get those same capabilities into any digital camera, including our line of Canon EOS Digital SLRs such as the new 5D Mark III, said Matt Kidd, President at Geo Tactical Solutions. To accomplish this, we have enhanced the GeoMapr GPS module to work seamlessly with DSLR systems. Now, using any Canon EOS DSLR camera coupled with GeoMapr, the photographer can capture the critical who, what, when, where and why with a simple press of the shutter.

GPS Features:

Depending on the users requirements, GPS coordinates can be stored and/or converted into a variety of common formats including LAT/LONG, MGRS, decimal degrees, UTM, and State Plane. GeoMapr also records GPS track-logs and compass heading via its built-in electronic compass.

Recording Object Location:

Laser range finders may be connected to the GeoMapr module via Bluetooth or cable connection to record distance and GPS coordinates of objects. This is done by combining the laser range finders data with GPS positional data to automatically calculate the location of an object within a photograph.

Descriptive Memos:

GeoMapr supports up to 20 attribute fields for each image called memos which are used to tag photographs with relevant information such as photographers name, operation ID, operation type, unit ID, and so on. This information, along with GPS coordinates, date and time, are automatically stored as metadata in each image file. Memo fields are created and stored within the GeoMapr module before photographs are taken, thereby automating the process of capturing the who, what, when, where and why of each photo, explained Andy Shannon, Director of Business Development at Geo Tactical Solutions. Collecting this information not only transforms a photograph into a powerful source of information, it keeps photographs organized by common attributes and simplifies the mapping and reporting process.

SAASM Compatibility:

A Selective Availability Anti-spoofing Module (SAASM) is used to allow decryption of precision GPS coordinates in order to obtain accurate GPS readings in a GPS compromised environment. These secure and decrypted GPS signals can be recorded by connecting GeoMapr to a Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR).

Mapping/GIS Integration:

GTS offers photo mapping software (PhotoGIS) along with their GPS-enabled camera solutions for mapping, editing and reporting photos collected in the field. With PhotoGIS, digital photographs collected using a GPS-enabled DSLR can be converted into a variety of file formats suitable for popular mapping applications such as ArcGIS, FalconView, GeoSuite, TIGR, and Google Earth.

Michal’s Camera photography is thrilled to announce studio innovations and equipment upgrades towards the end of the year 2012. The studio at 150 Achva Street is located in a small town called Kedar – center-east at the heart of Israel. Michal’s Camera photography has upgraded a new camera‘s equipment set and a new website.

Michal’s Camera photography studio started as a small home based business. At the beginning, in 2008, the work was preformed using basic equipment in the houses living-room and back yard. Thanks to the unique methodology and the special editing techniques, the end results begged peoples attention. Costumers loved the pictures and were excited about the final product. Slowly people started to be more interested the business was advertised solely from word-to-mouth and the rumor of a great Bat-Mitzvah photographer spread out.

With growth in demand, the need for a real studio space and professional equipment was mandatory. The business grew into a very unique home studio, including professional equipment such as: proper lighting, soft boxes, studio backgrounds, clothes and many small accessories.
