20 Stunning Super Moon Shots

Moon emerged from thick haze.

Photo of the Supermoon rise at the Nature park and recreation area het Twiske located northwest of Amsterdam.

This time the plan wasn’t perfect that I can’t align the moon with Golden Gate Bridge

The supermoon, the closest and largest to Earth in about 30 years, rises behind the Grand Marais, Minnesota lighthouse.

Another shot from last night’s super moon event. Again, I ended up taking two shots, one exposing for the moon, and another exposing for the foreground and then merging the two in CS5.

I photographed the Super Moon and superimposed it on Seattle’s skyline. Each was shot from the same location a few minutes apart.

May 6, 2012 features the closest and largest full moon of this year!!

Don’t I look like a Beautiful Gecko?

Hundreds of these beautiful Day Geckos keep our household insect population down.

A shot of the rare Hawaiian Green Seal, ha ha just kidding.

I am a Gecko and I live in Namib Desert in Namibia. My home is a burrow in the deep sand. I spend the day there because it is too hot outside. I come out during the night and go hunting. I love insects. They are yummy!

Uroplatus is a genus of geckos that are endemic to Madagascar, and found nowhere else on earth.

15 Lovely Tulip Fields Pictures

Sea of tulips captured at Egmond aan den Hoef, North-Holland, Netherlands.

Tulip fields just outside Alkmaar, North-Holland, Netherlands. Must be at least one colour of your liking.

Decided at the last minute to head out to Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm for sunset photography. Glad to see the dramatic clouds.

Some amongst the crowd were so bedazzled by the spectacle they abandoned restraint and dashed into the sea to grab fistfuls of color.

Sunrise at Woodenshoe Tulip Festival Woodburn Oregon

A lot of the tulips are mature and some have been topped, but there is still a sea of beautiful color out here. This shot was just as the sun was coming up. It was taken at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon.

Took a trip out to the Tulip fields on Sunday morning to see how they were coming along.

Went up to Skagit Valley Tulip Festival with friends.

This is the most famous picture of Taj Mahal taken using HDR Photography. The picture was carefully timed to capture the hues of blue and red on either side of the Taj.

In this picture Taj Mahal is seen as a palace of the Kings with lush green lawns surrounding it. The blue sky and the clouds add to the beauty of the scene.

Here is a corner view of the Taj Mahal. The picture is processed in a way that the textures on white marble used to build the monument are quite visible.
