Australian Beach Lifeguard

Having heard so much about the beach lifeguards while I was visiting to Australia, I could hardly wait to find more information about their actions when I had spare time.

Australian beaches sometimes bring quite unexpected emergencies especially in summer. They are very crowded. The lifeguards’ duties are to save people from drowning, bring in those who have been carried too far out by swift currents, and above all, to maintain a safe experience for all beach-goers. Examples where a lifeguard might be needed to help include alerting people to a shark in the water, a physical injury on the beach, or even a tsunami. Their job is varied in its day to day activities.

About noontide, I left the heavy waves on crowded beach and walked up to a watchtower with many friends. To my astonishment, I was greeted by many handsome guards I had seen in the morning and was asked to go upstairs to see the tower. Suddenly! I heard loud noises from a big siren used to warn people against sharks. There were also numerous guards scanning the sea through telescopes to ensure that no swimmer got into difficulties in the sea.

During the time that I was staring at the hundreds of people relishing the beachly atmosphere, I immediately saw why the Australians were so proud of their lifeguards, who kept constant watch over them and empowered them to swim in security.

I just can’t help myself.

I read to learn and to grow, to laugh and to be motivated.

I read to understand things I’ve never been exposed to.

I read when I’m crabby, when I’ve just said monumentally dumb things to the people I love.

I read for strength to help me when I feel broken, discouraged, and afraid.

I read when I’m angry at the whole world.

I read when everything is going right.

Why I Love Walking

First of all, walking allows me to connect with many beautiful things throughout the world. It is the best way to see and explore everywhere that surround you.

I love to walk while I am traveling and shopping, because when I travel to many difference places, I can walk longer than when I walk around my home.

From sunrise until midnight I can walk all day, if there are new places, new areas, or new countries.

I really like to explore interesting new worlds, even though I might not be a surgeon or a gynecologist.

Believe me, there is no better way to discover a whole new world that still remains hidden from view unless we walk to find it.

There is one aspect of interesting amazing unseen Thailand I would like to introduce you to visit. About 12km south of Mukdahan province is the Phu Pha Thoep National Park, (also signed as Mukdahan National Park). In Thai, Phu means mountain, Pha means cliff, and Thoep means overlap. Basically this means the overlapping mountain cliffs literally or more generally, it means overlapping rocks on the mountain cliff.

It has some beautiful landscapes and is scattered with amazing unusual different shaped rock formations well worth walking to see.The formations of superimposed rocks called Hin Thoep have been eroded by rain, water, wind and sun between 95 and 120 million years. Today, these rocks appear in differerent formations such as a crown, giant cat fish, whale, flying saucer, shell, turtle, Chinese pavilion, crocodile, and rhinoceros.

Each layer of the rocks has different durability depending on the different contents of the sandstone. The upper brown layer is more durable with lots of silica and small stones. The lower layer has a paler colour with high content of carbonate, making it less durable.

The main rock group sits behind the visitor centre, and lovely wildflowers such as Dusita yellow flowers bloom here between October and December.

The layers of sediment deposited throughout millions of years are viewable in this photo. Each layer represents millions of years of sand that have compressed together to form sandstone.

Imagine a lovely rhinoceros poking its head from behind a lush green bush.

Hi! Over there is a boat on the rock.

In the middle of this picture there is a rock that looks like a head of an early primate. In the lower left hand corner I can see a bear sitting behind the head. Do you agree with me?

In the middle of the picture, there is an appearance of a big flying fish, dolphin, or airplane in the air.

Soooo Amazing forest! Also There is an admirable turtle settles into a chubby shady corner.

Unexpectedly, I found a handsome crocodile lying down on a slab of the bedrock.

It’s fairly straightforward. It’s a crocodile’s head!

Finally, here is the highlight of the beautiful wonderland called Phu Pha Thoep. This magnificent rock is popularly called “Chinese Pavilion Rock”.

It would really be more impressive if you could actually walk around here, and actually you can if you visit Mukdahan, Thailand. Has anybody else done this walk?

Another benefit of walking is that it is healthy for my body. It keeps my weight down and allows me to have a slim figure.

I insist walking is an excellent fat burner.

In addition, after I come back home, I feel that walking makes me refreshed and energetic. And it also makes me feel better.

Moreover, If you can’t have a long deep sleep everyday, I believe after you go to walk all day, you can sleep very well and have sweet dream similar to me.

Mae Fah Luang Garden is my most favourite place in Thailand. It is one of the most famous and beautiful destinations for tourists who are travelling through Thailand.

I like Mae Fah Luang Garden in Doi Tung, Chiang Rai Province very much.

The important reasons are :

Firstly, there are many different varieties of cool climate flowers and these are extremely pretty and beautiful.

This garden was decorated meticulously and delicately in Swiss Styles and adorned with elegant water fountains that appeared as a charming curtain and almost as if we were living in the garden of Heaven.

Secondly, I could hear the wind blowing breezily and gently, and this combined with the splashing waterfall made me feel very relaxing.

Thirdly, it is situated in the mountains where the air temperature is a little cool and also comfortable all year round.

Fourthly, the atmosphere at Mae Fah Luang Garden has a good scent as well as a feeling that is similar being on a Switzerland blossom mountain. It is good for your physical and mental health.

Don’t let the opportunity to visit Mae Fah Luang Garden pass you by if you happen to be travelling to Thailand.

Finally, you will find that the scrupulous beauty as heaven’s garden truly exists on Earth.

How do we Celebrate our Birthday?

Since Thailand is a Buddhist country, Thai people’ s birthday celebration usually involves Buddhist religion. We believe that good deeds bring good results, while bad deeds brings bad results.

When our birthday arrives, we always have an effort to make merit in order to have a good fortune life.

There are many ways to make merit on our birthday.

Firstly, if we have time we should get up early then we may go to the temple for special observance and give food offering into the Buddist monks ‘ bowl.

Next, we may listen to dharma preaching and join in the other Buddist activities.

After that, we may donate to many foundations such as The Chaipattana Foundation or Siriraj Foundation. We could help every good things around us.

In the afternoon, we could visit people who has lost their fortunes such as poor people or handicapped at many foundations. We would provide food and other supplies for them.

Or if we have time, we may go recording our own voice by reading books for blind people at Foundation for the blind in Thailand.

In the evening, we could spend the rest of the day doing whatever we would like to do. For example, we may visit many beautiful places

From Mon Area, Amphoe Sankhaburi, Kanjanaburi, Thailand

or have delicious dinner with our family and close friends at a nice restaurant. Then, we might have sweet cake and sing happy birthday song together. Finally, we would receive some special presents from our family and friends to make life full of joy.
