I was having a problem of mediaserver process. In My Lenovo A6000 Android mobile in Battery consumption mediaserver process was showing at the top with very high battery usage. and my mobile battery was discharging rapidly. This problem came when I transferred some videos from my laptop to my mobile.

I got the solution by searching on internet by visiting many forums and after that I was able to sort out the problem.

The problem was due to presence of a corrupt media file [music, photos or videos] in phone memory or sd card. It is bit difficult to find a corrupted file in media storage so it is better to take backup of all files in your computer then delete all files from your mobile. then you will find that your problem has been solved. If needed restart your mobile.

If your mobile is showing high RAM usage (more than 80 percent ) each and every time then I am going to tell you something by which you can minimize the RAM usage of your Android Mobile. High RAM usage leads to the higher consumption of Battery so you can also increase your Battery backup at some extents.

I faced the problem of high RAM usage on my mobile and did many things and some of things succeeded. Which might help you as explained below

Go to setting > Apps > Manage Applications and uninstall the programs which you don't use or most rarely use. This will reduce the burden.

After that install Master Cleaner if you have not installed and clean your mobile cache, removed apps history etc. completely.

Try to group the Application according to their category this also reduces the RAM usage but at small level.

Now Restart your Mobile to see the effect whatever you did. After Restart you will notice that your RAM usage has gone quite low.

Install android on your PC/Laptop [2015]

If you want to use Android then it is better to install Android on you PC/Laptop than using Bluestacks. As I experienced Running Andriod on Bluestacks is quite slow so it is better to install on PC.

You must have the following things to install Android on PC/ Laptop.

Android x86 ISO (please download the most appropriate version)
USB Flash drive (you may use a bootable CD/DVD as well)
Free hard disk space near about 10 GB on the computer/laptop that you want to install Android.
UNetbootin (for creating bootable USB thumb drive) which you can grab from here

>> Follow the steps to install Android on you system :

Step 1: Download the version of Android-x86 ISO that’s appropriate for your hardware, and UNetbootin.

Step 2: Create a bootable USB drive using UNetbootin and the ISO image that you downloaded earlier. Simply click on the Diskimage button as shown in the screenshot below and point it towards the ISO you downloaded.

Step 3: Reboot your computer using the USB drive as the source. You might need to change a couple of settings under your system’s BIOS to do that, although most modern systems already default to USB drive if it’s available.

Step 4: In the menu that appears, choose Install Android x86 to hard disk.

Step 5: Choose which partition to install Android x86 on. If you’re using a new partition for that, it’s better to format it at this point.

Step 6: A few prompts will appear pertaining to installation of GRUB Bootloader. Make sure you allow this.

Step 7: Now, another prompt will ask you to make system /r/w. Hit Yes on this as well, especially if you’d like to modify your Android x86 installation later.

Step 9: Reboot your PC. That’s all there is to it. Since this will be a multiboot setup, you can choose to either boot to Windows or Android per your liking.

Friends I was home and my Home PC has Consistent motherboard and 256 MB RAM, Kids used to learn by this computer. It has Pentium 4 processor. I played a video it was stucked, only audio sound was coming. then I checked from the device manager and found that it was missing VGA Controller driver and because of that it was not able to play videos . Although RAM is also less but yet I thought to install VGA Controller for this Consistent motherborad Pentium 4 with With Windows xp sp3.

I googled and found a no. of links, downloaded a no. of Graphics drivers and installed but none of them worked correctly. it was showing yellow symbol in device manager for VGA Controller. I messed up with different driver download softwares and finally I found the appropriate driver for this motherboard and extracted , installed it. It worked awesome even RAM is only 256 MB still it is able to play HD Videos.

Recover .chk files

If you have got your files converted into .chk extension then you can easily recover at some extent by using different softwares. In Linux (Ubuntu) if you delete a file it converts that file into .chk extension and saves in a folder in that drive. You can see that folder in windows it may be of the name '.Trash' or something similar to that.

You can easily recover that files which may appear as .chk000, .chk001, .chk002 and so on. You just install a software TRC Data Recovery. Open it and navigate to the directory where .chk files are kept it will ask for location where to save the files when you recover them.

You can use another recovery software by searching on Google. I used that one and it worked for my all pdf files and they got recovered.

I have figured out the free internet trick in Aircel using PD Proxy. It works on Open UDP port. Skipping all blah-blah things I am just going to tell how to do this in simple steps.

1. First download the PD proxy and Extract it.
2. Sign up here and get a user name and password. (Don’t forget to activate the mail sent on your email id by clicking on that.)

Problem with ATI Raedon HD 5470 Graphics

I have ATI Mobility Raedon HD 5470 in my Sony VAIO laptop and it was running with old driver. My laptop was little bit slow so I decided to install the latest driver of ATI Mobility Raedon HD 5470. and I went to ATI Catalyst Auto detect page downloaded the latest one and installed. After installation it detected the display driver as ATI Mobility Raedon HD 5000 Series. After that it shows something Graphics driver stopped working.

After that I was unable to start most of programs (like VLC Player, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc). When I start any program it Crashes and shows stopped working so I thought that may be this is due to new driver and I uninstalled the latest version and re-installed the old version successfully. but the problem was still there. I tried so many things but it didn't worked then I took the help of superuser forum.

I received alot of help from there , got many links of third party softwares and after alot of efforts one of them worked that was Display driver Uninstaller. As it was suggested I ran it in Safe-mode and re-installed original driver and it worked.

Windows 7 start-up repair disk works with dual boot

I was thinking that Windows 7 start-up repair disk doesn't work with Windows 7 and Ubuntu dual boot grub in case Windows 7 got any problem. I have Windows 7 Ultimate and Ubuntu 14.04 in my laptop.

Yesterday when I selected Windows it was unable to start. It was showing some file (.dll) missing I don't remember that missing file name. I used Windows 7 start-up repair disk and I was surprised it fixed the problem without causing any harm to Ubuntu 14.04.

Previously Start-up repair disk helped me alot like removing Ubuntu (In case if you want), System Restore if Windows is unable to start, using Command Prompt so many things.

If you have installed Windows 7 (any edition) and Ubuntu on your laptop or desktop then when you start your system the boot grub of Ubuntu appears and asks for selection of OS for start either Ubuntu or Windows.

In case you want to remove Ubuntu/linux from your system then if you delete the partition of Ubuntu by logging to Windows then your system will be unable to start and it will ask for grub rescue.

It will ask for grub rescue in other cases too like

1. Making a partition using disk management in Windows 7.

2. Mark a partition as active other than C: drive.

The first listed problem is common in laptops distributed by UP Government because it has Ubuntu and Windows 7 Home basic and Windows has only one partition when someone want to make a partition using windows then Problem arises and it asks for grub rescue.

The solution to this problem is very easy. If you have made start-up repair disk then it just insert it and reboot your system it will load and after that will go for startup repair. Select the Windows 7 OS and go next choose Command Prompt. Use commands bootrec /fixboot and wait for 2-3 seconds after that use bootrec /fixmbr as soon as it gets completed your boot loader or grub is repaired.

If you don't have start-up repair disk then use Windows 7 bootable disk. When it boots choose Reapir your Computer and go to Command Prompt use the above two commands and fix your boot loader.

If your Pendrive is showing as local disk or Hard disk instead of showing Removable disk then you can fix this problem using Lexar USB Formatting Tool. Lexar USB Format Tool or BootIt is a Lexar based utility to flip the Removable device setting of a USB drive.

You can also do the reverse that means if you want that your removable disk appear as local disk then use above tool. I was having this problem from many days today it was sorted out.

If you delete something it goes in recycle bin and recycle bin icon changes empty recycle bin to full recycle bin. It doesn't look good when it appears full recycle bin icon.

You can change your recycle bin icon in such a way that when you delete any item it will move to recycle bin but icon will always appear empty recycle bin and it looks better.

To change your recycle bin icon go to

Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Personalization > Change desktop icons (on left side)

Now Select Recycle Bin (full) and Click on Change icon > browse and Select Recycle Bin (empty) icon and Press Ok

I was trying to install Windows Xp to my HP Mini 1100 Laptop using bootable Pendrive. At the time of loading drives and partitions it displayed an error

'Setup has determined that drive d: is corrupted and can not be repaired.'

I used Win2Flash Software for making my pendrive bootable. I thought may be this is the problem of ISO file so I checked with another ISO of Windows Xp but problem was not solved.

I googled for some hours and found that problem was due to Win2Flash Software. then Once again I used another Software Win2Bootic for making my pendrive bootable and when I booted my system using pendrive another problem was encountered

'An operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart'

then I made alot of changes in BIOS boot configuration, disconnected all other devices (mouse) except pendrive but none of them helped then finally I installed Windows 7 32-bit successfully using Win2Flash for making my pendrive bootable .

Today I was installing Adobe Photoshop CS5 I faced an error when it was about to install it displayed the message 'Please Insert Disk Photoshop CS5 to continue' I was shocked because previously the same setup was working on my laptop but this time it was displaying error.

I googled little bit after that I found the solution. The problem occurred because I was using Removable disk to install Photoshop. I just Copied whole folder of Adobe SetUp to desktop after that I installed and there was no error. Please try if have the same problem it may work for you too.

I just upgraded my windows 7 Home Basic to windows 7 Ultimate and whenever I was connecting my system remotely I was getting black screen. It seems very irritating (getting black screen). I googled for 2-3 days and my problem was solved. If you have the same problem you can try may be your problem gets over.

Go to Options > Experience (Second last Tab)

Check the box Desktop Background and Connect. Now it will show the desktop background. You can select more features but selecting more features will consume more bandwidth and your working speed may decrease.

If you have Windows 7 Home Basic in your PC or laptop and you want to install Windows 7 Ultimate then no need to format your system because after format you will need to install each and every softwares you installed previously.

I wanna tell you something interesting and now you can change your Windows 7 Home Basic Edition to Windows 7 Ultimate Version and you can also register your windows via that Key. There is a simple process for that :

If you have problem crashing your Adobe Photoshop after close up then it might be the problem due to your ati graphics driver. In case of mine (Sony Vaio VPCEB34EN) the fault was due to unloaded atio6xx.dll and I sorted out problem by searching in google.

download the atio6xx.dll file from here

then install this atio6xx.dll file by given procedure :

Copy file atio6axx.dll to the installation directory of the program that is requesting atio6axx.dll. If that doesn't work, you will have to copy atio6axx.dll to your system directory. By default, the location is :

Windows XP, Vista, 7 - C:\Windows\System32 , If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you should also copy atio6axx.dll to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

Make a backup copy of the original files then Overwrite any existing files after that Reboot your computer.
