Great fights after another, but it doesn't end there. We're only half way through and we have already seen some awesomely entertaining fights like Maidana vs Morales, Katsidis vs Robert Guerrero, Triple Header in Japan, Marcus Johnson vs Dyah Davis and more. And it will only get better! This next couple of weeks will be explosive.

First, tomorrow's biggest fight Victor Ortiz vs Andre Berto. Two of the best ranking boxers going head to head with their crowd pleasing styles. Just the thought of this fight makes me look forward to it even more. I would think Berto is the favorite because he is a welter weight and Ortiz is moving up. Also, Berto has tremendously fast hands and he likes to mix his punches up. Uppercuts, hooks, strait punches, he can do it all. Ortiz on the other hand, is no pushover. Though he gave up against Maidana, that was a fight I personally thought he could dominate if he had boxed a little bit more rather than going toe to toe. This is also part of the reason why he is the underdog. He is too aggressive for his own good, and Berto could definitely exploit that weakness.

Next, also in the same day, lb4lb Juan Manuel Lopez vs Orlando Salido. Juan Manuel Lopez is the heavy favorite for only one reason, because he's a BEAST! His tremendous power, solid boxing skills, and accuracy makes him a very difficult opponent for any fighter in and around his division. He has beaten some quality opponents like Marquez, Penalosa, Concepcion, Medina, Luevano, and he has been very dominant most of the time.
Orlando Salido is more than a decent fighter. He has a very good chin, but I don't think it will hold against a fighter like Lopez. I think the main reason for this fight is to set up a long awaited clash between Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa. Orlando Salido made Gamboa uncomfortable when they fought and now Lopez is looking to outshine Gamboa by blowing him out.

Then, there is Amir Khan vs Paul McCloskey. Look for Khan to dominate this fight. Why, you ask? McCloskey has no power. He won't be able to keep Khan at bay because of that lack of power. Khan will just take over and outbox him all the way through like he did Malignaggi. Not much in this fight, just another showcase fight for Khan.

Lastly, of course how can I forget, The bantam weight tournament finals. Top fighters in the division trying to claim supremacy by beating on each other nuffsaid!
