Janelle + Jeremy's Colorado Wedding (4.13.13)

This has got to be the most photos I've ever posted in one post! It only makes sense since it's my sister, right? This wedding was phenomenal, and I was so lucky to photograph it. We were blessed to have beautiful weather, right in between two April snow storms. The day began with their sealing and ceremony at the LDS Colorado Denver Temple, while later in the afternoon, at the Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, they had a ring ceremony and dinner for close family and friends, followed by a reception with dessert and dancing. Janelle along with our Mom planned everything perfectly, and we had the most amazing venue, decorator, caterer, and DJ. We couldn't have done it without them, and I will list all of their information below because you will definitely want to remember them for your own Colorado wedding.

My other two sisters and I had so much fun as bridesmaids, along with Janelle's dear friend Sam, and my own little babies loved being the center of attention. Even if they were already exhausted by 10:00 AM in the morning. I could not have been IN any of the photos if it weren't for my friend Rachael Green who came as my second shooter. I am so thankful for her.

My sister and her new husband are just perfect for each other and I am so happy for them.

This is my beautiful little sister! I can't believe she is getting married!!!! I am so happy for her and so beyond excited for her wedding in just a few short weeks. It will be stunning. We love Jeremy and welcome him to the family with open arms. They are SUCH a great pair and have so much goodness in store for them.

I had such a blast with these two; aren't they darling? Morrison and Red Rocks never disappoint. It's a shame I can't be at their east coast wedding, I have no doubt it will be amazing!

I had such a blast at this gorgeous wedding. I love Shannon and Travis and I'm so thankful they and their families allowed me to be a part of their day. The Highlands Ranch Mansion was recently renovated and is one of the most stunning venues I've ever been to. It was raining for parts of the day, but turned out to be absolutely gorgeous when we needed it most. The skies and the sun were beautiful. I wish this couple all the happiness in the world!

p.s. I had the pleasure of having my friend Rachael Green join me at this wedding and it was so much fun and made my job much easier. Keep your eye out for her stunning images.

Denise and I used to watch the Little Mermaid together and go searching for fish in the creek behind my Grandma's house. I love this cousin on mine. Mugs has been a part of the family for years, and I love their two adorable kids like crazy! Their fabulous wedding was on a perfect August night in downtown Colorado Springs. Pretty sure there was a whole lot of laughing and goofing off going on, which made pictures 10x more fun. Many tears too. Such a beautiful, happy occasion.

Did you spot the moment Emily told her children she was expecting another baby?? TOO cute. :) I am so happy for them, I love this cute family.

And how about that sunset? Or those clouds! It had been raining all afternoon, we nearly cancelled. Thank goodness we didn't . . . I haven't shot with light like that in ages.

The biggest congratulations to my dear friend Jenni and her new husband! Their wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful and the details were stunning. I enjoyed meeting Steve's family and seeing old friends and hanging out with the bride and groom. Can you believe that her mom made her gorgeous dress? And that her sister made those adorable little boy outfits? And that she comes from a family of five gorgeous girls? Speaking of sisters, can you spot mine? ;) And how about those flowers? Or that amazing sunset? Everything was perfect. Thank you so much to Jenni and Steve for letting me be a part of it!

shannon + travis : engagements

Shannon and Travis are getting married at the beautiful new Highlands Ranch Mansion in October and I am SO excited about it. The grounds were being landscaped as we took their engagements and the scenery was still gorgeous, so I can only imagine how much more fun we'll have on their wedding day.

ps. Anyone noticing a trend in my recent photoshoots? :) Stephanie (below) and Shannon (above)... These girls are sisters! Love that family.

You can't tell me these two won't have the most beautiful children you have ever seen. I can't WAIT to meet their little boy! Stephanie and I went to high school together, and I am SO glad we reconnected now that I'm back in Denver. Congrats to this beautiful couple!

Jenni and I have known each other since we were 2 or something, she is one of mine and my sister's dearest friends. I can't BELIEVE she's getting married and that I get to take her pictures!!!! Aren't they a beautiful pair? I am so excited for her and Steve, they are just perfect. He is one great, LUCKY guy! :)

I loved every second of this wedding. The bride and groom were adorable all day long, the sun was shining, the families were awesome, the decor was all handmade DIY, and every detail was impeccable. I loved the croquet, the dessert table, the guest tree, the silhouettes, the live band, the cute video shown after dinner, all the amazing speeches, and watching the bride's face when the groom joined the band. So cute. This was, quite frankly, one of the prettiest weddings I've ever been to. I'm so honored I got to be a part of it. Congratulations, you two!!!

SUCH a fun night. I about died over her dress; isn't it gorgeous? We shot these two days before the wedding and I was able to edit and make prints just in time. And oh man, their wedding was incredible. I can't wait to share. :)

Brooke is SUCH a fun girl. She's from my hometown and will be a senior this fall at my Alma Mater, Columbine High. We had such a blast chatting and laughing and walking around with her mom and her sister. I can't wait to hear what the future has in store for her!

I can't even tell you how excited I was to get a call from Sierra. Our families have been friends forever, and as it always is with people I know and love, I was thrilled to hear about her engagement and even more thrilled to take her engagement pictures! I'm also looking forward to their wedding in August. These two are just picture perfect. We took these near Sierra's home near the Ken Caryl Valley. It was the most beautiful setting on the most perfect night! Sierra likes a little cross processing in her edits, which I also love, so I tweaked a few. Hm, maybe I should have done a few more? :)

We got up close and personal with some ELK! Whoa. No big deal.
