Blogging allowed me the privilege of meeting people from around the globe-connecting with people from different backgrounds, yet finding common ground.

Beginning with my LiveJournal days, then on to my baby, Ramblings of an Undisturbed Mind, blogging provided me with the outlet I needed to show people who I was-which will continue here-but, this time around, I’m finding myself. The self I knew existed, deep within my soul, but was afraid to fail. Failure, I now understand, is a part of life. I embrace it, for each failed attempt teaches me- I’m strong, I can survive and hopefully inspire others in the process.

This blog, Beth’s Life Lived, will go back to the roots of true blogging. Learning from one another, accepting criticism, sharing our lives. I see it as my growth from the old blog: Still the same, odd-ball sense of humor, more on my interests and passions and yes, the kid in me who still loves lip-gloss and purses. This is me- uncensored, empowered and healing.

Let the blogging commence.
