Meet Your Wake Forest Newborn Photographer
Hi! I’m Christy, a newborn photographer with over 17 years of experience working with babies and families.
I’m a Master Newborn Photographer through the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, and my work has been recognized with several awards and international publications, including Professional Photographer magazine and the cover of Parents France.
Most importantly, I’m honored to have earned a consistent 5-star rating from the families I’ve photographed over the years. Many clients affectionately call me “the baby whisperer,” a nickname I truly treasure.
As a former preschool teacher, and mom of two teenagers, I fully understand just how quickly these early days pass. Helping families preserve this important season of life is an honor and a joy.

The Finishing Touch
After your session, we meet again to review your images together and design the artwork you’ll enjoy every day.
I create custom album layouts that beautifully tell the story of your baby’s first days, and I also offer personalized wall gallery design. Using photos of your own walls — outlets, switches, and all — I create digital previews so you can see exactly how framed portraits will look in your space before anything is ordered.
This allows you to choose artwork with confidence, knowing it will fit your home perfectly.

On the day of your session, you can settle in and enjoy time with your baby while I take care of the rest. With more than 17 years of experience working with newborns and young children, I know how to safely pose, soothe, and photograph even the tiniest babies. Parents are often surprised by how easy and relaxed the experience feels.

Your Session
We begin with a planning consultation to talk through your vision, wardrobe, and how you’d like your portraits to feel. You’ll have access to the studio wardrobe for mothers and babies, and professional hair and makeup is included so you look and feel your best without the stress of preparing for photos.

The Portrait Experience
Your baby’s first portraits deserve more than a place on your phone.
My clients enjoy beautifully crafted artwork designed to be seen, held, and shared for years to come — from handcrafted albums to framed wall portraits and custom gallery walls that turn your favorite images into heirlooms for your home for the whole family to enjoy.
Most families invest $1500–2400 in their artwork and digital images.
Newborn sessions are limited each month, and many families reserve their date during the second trimester. I recommend reaching out as early as possible to ensure availability.
