Matty K. and D.O. are finally on a normal schedule and actually did the show two weeks in a row. It has been great in our new time slot on Monday nights. Make sure to tune in on Monday at 8PM. The show is not only about Buffalo anymore but it was certainly dominated by Buffalo Bills talk. The Bills pulled out a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars and are now 2-0. D.O. & Matty K. break down the whole game and the upcoming schedule for the Buffalo Bills. There is also more NFL talk including what should be done to Ed Hochuli and the debut of Matt Cassel for the Pats. It wasn’t only NFL talk, a huge week in College Football can’t go unnoticed. Of course the show concludes with Trivia as usual and I believe that Tony O. was the winner again.

After a two week hiatus Beyond Buffalo Radio was back with a vengeance… “The King of Buffalo Bills Trivia” Nick Queeno joined the show to talk about the Bills first Pre-Season game and the upcoming season. D.O. & Matty K. also talk about the game and break down the play of the Quarterbacks and Ashton Youboty. It wouldn’t be a sports show without some talk about Brett Favre so we satisfy that requirement and also a special edition of trivia. We also talk a little bit about the Buffalo Sabres and the Summer Olympics.

It was a short edition of Beyond Buffalo Radio with both D.O. & Matty finishing up a busy week. We packed a lot of information into an hour and half. The big topic of the week continued to be Brett Favre but there was also some talk about NFL training camp starting this week. The Buffalo Sabres re-signed Ryan Miller this week proving their commitment to winning. The Major League All-Star game took place this week and it was a classic 15 inning affair and the Home Run Derby had some big memories as well.

After a two week hiatus Beyond Buffalo Radio was back with a vengeance. The show got off to a little bit of a slow start talking about the epic battle between Rafeal Nadal and Roger Fedderer at Wimbeldon. Matty K is a contestant in the WGR 550 Rookie Contest and D.O. and Matty talk about his participation. There is some baseball talk as well, the all-star game and the New York Yankees.

There is no way we could do the show without weighing in on the Brett Favre situation and some Marshawn Lynch talk as well. The show concludes with the results of our NHL free agent predictions and a double dose of trivia.

With NHL Free Agency on the horizon, D.O. & Matty K. talked extensively about where they thought the top players would go. They also talked about what teams would be the most active on July 1. There was also fan favorites trivia and Matty’s Moron of the Week and some talk about the College Baseball World Series.

In the second segment Matt Syroczynski, player for the Kelly Cup winning Cincinnati Cyclones, joined the show for about 15 minutes to talk about winning the ECHL championship as well as his future plans in hockey.

Brian Koziol from WGR 550 in Buffalo was on to talk about the NHL Draft and the Buffalo Sabres selections and Mike DeCourcey of the Sporting News was kind enough to talk NBA draft with us. In addition to that we talked about Baseball, Hockey and of course our specila features…”Are you kidding me?”, Matty’s Moron of the week and of course trivia.

The Fathers Day edition of Beyond Buffalo Radio with D.O. & Matty K. Tiger Woods showed his typical Fathers Day heroics, the Lakers had a huge collapse and a special tribute to Tim Russert. We were joined by Dave Davis (formerly of Sabres Weekly) to talk about the Sabres off-season and Nick Queeno was kind enough to join us from stormy Buffalo to talk about the Bills and Marshawn Lynch. The storms reaked havoc on the show but we were able to complete the entire show, including trivia.
