How to enable mobile version of your Blogger blog?

Well now Blogger in draft offer's a mobile version of blogs.All you have to do is to follow the following steps.Very easy and simple.

Now you don't have to wait an hour to read your blog on Mobile,instead you can try out the mobile version instead

If you haven't moved to Blogger in Draft then i say you do it right away,It is right their at the top near the sign out link.
Now go the settings page of your blog
Go to the Email & Mobile tab.
Now tick the option Yes and save the setting's.

There you have it a mobile version of your blog :-)

This service is still in beta mode and only one template is available.Wait a few months and you can see a lot more.

adding ?m=1 to the blog url can open up the mobile page for you of any blog. Our blog's mobile version is here : http://bforbloggerbeta.blogspot.com/?m=1

Blogger now auto saves your post's

blogger now auto saves you post's while you are writing them,blogger sends a copy of the text,labels and heading to it's server's.this is done every minute,that is blogger saves your post every single minute to it's server's,the save now button turns gray when the post is auto saved as in the snap below

these post's show up as draft's in the Edit post's tab as seen below,now nothing happens if your computer crashes when you writing a blogger post,you can do the rest from where you stopped.

blogger has also updated it's keyboard shortcut's,they changes are listed below
Ctrl+S:Saves your psot as a draft
Ctrl+P:Publishes your post(it was the preview tool earlier)
Ctrl+Shift+P:gives you a preview of your post

this is why i love google,they make everything simple ;)

My blog is worth 5080.86$,wanna know how much your blog is worth?,here is an awesome tool by Dane carlson to calculate how much your blog is worth,it is actually based on technorati links you blog is having,For example one of my blogs have 14 links from other blog's this tool calculates it's value to be $3500,but this blog which has just 9 links in technorati search has more value than the other one,wondering why?,the answer is simple,the links to this blog is better than the other one,that is more quality blog's linked to this blog than the other.Now let us see how much your blog is worth.

type in your blog url
Sumbit url

That is it now they will display your blog's worth.

wondering if your blog visitor's are coming back to your blog?,Well they could be,but what if they forgot the url of your blog,this is where a bookmark button is gonna come in handy.

So here is how to make one

Go to Template tab
In the layout click on "Add a page element"
From the pop-up that appears select add Html/Javascript
Add this piece of code below in the popup that appears

For e.g mine looks like Bookmark
which opens the below window.

Hide Navbar from blogger beta

A small tip on removing the Navbar from blogger beta,wondering what is a Navbar?,then see the picture below.Have you ever noticed something in my blog?,it dosen't have a Navbar from the day it was started,i removed it because it dosen't match the template of my blog,and it is really boring too.

So here is a few tips to remove it from your blog

Go to template tab
Go to edit html tab from template tab

Add this piece of code to your blog

   }

or add this piece of code

}

Ok that is it,you are done,now you don't have to see the boring navbar on your blog

Add image header to blog

My blog image header

Blogger just added a new feature to it's template page and that is add header image option,i was about to write a trick on how to put a header image on blogger,and today as i was getting ready to write that,i simply checked my layout page and was surprised to see that google added the feature already,i am sure it wasn't there yesterday!,so here are a few tips on how to put your own header image on blog.

Go to template page>edit html
Click on expand widgets

From the html code find code like this


#header {
margin: 0;
padding: 25px 60px 160px 160px;
color: $pagetitlecolor;
background: url(http://imageserver.com/bgnv2.jpg)
no-repeat bottom left;
}

Now from the above code copy the image url i.e(http://imageserver.com/bgnv2.jpg in this case copy and paste to address bar and save the image)
now open the image with photoshop or paint make your own header without changing the resolution of the image
Now save the image
Go to template layout click on header edit button seen in picture
Now from the window that opens upload the header you made from computer
if you have already made a text in your header image then tick "instead of title and description" and if else you just have made the background then tick "behind title and description"
Save and publish

Ans)Sitemeter is a small widget for blogger which keeps track of your visitor's.it gives info such as

No of visitors per day/per hour/per week
No page views per hour/per day/per week
Average Page views per visitor
Entry pages(the url of your blog to which your which the visitor came)
Exit pages(The url at which he left the page)
Out clicks
Location of visiitor and other info

it is better to customise the blog design before post something.if you don't have site meter yet you can get it from www.sitemeter.com,you can signup for a free account here.
after you have signed up with sitemeter go to :

>manager tab>html code>add sitemeter to blogger.com site
now copy the code from the page and go to your template tab in bloggger
click on add new page element
then add html/javascript and copy and paste html code you got from siemeter and save template

ok that is it you would now be able to see detailed statistics from sitemeter...

Make your Blog post's look a bit more friendly by using emoticons , emoticons make your posts more friendly with your blog readers,this time i have came up with a blogger beta hack to put emoticons on your blogger post's,its really easy,believe me

first of all you gotta have the following

Mozilla firefox browser(if you don't have it yet you can get it from here)
after installing you have to install the greese monkey addon from here click on install when this tab appears
After that you have to install this script by clicking here
Now login to your blogger account to see emoticons in your create blog post's page

Blogging an introduction:some tips to become a good blogger!

As a child your parent's must have advised you to maintain a personal diary,which served two purposes

Language skill improving
Handwriting improving

Blogging ain't entirely different,what is different here is that,your personal diary is exposed to your friends and the whole world,so that you can convey your thought's and ideas with your friends,family and the whole world,blogging can be tricky,you have to follow these steps to become a good blogger

Never write sms language(i.e 'u' of 'you' or '4' of 'four')
Never put copy paste stuff on your blog(don't rip of articles from other blogs or website)
Be prepared to have no readers at the start
Update once in a while(2-3 days update would be fine).Don't stay for too long
Reply to comments you get
Comment on top blogs(don't say like "i like your blog,you might like mine")
adding a bit of humor to your blog would do good(who likes to see serious stuff on a personal blog?)
remember to spell check your post's before you publish
Dont spam around(i.e "my blog is at xyz.com please visit",give links to friend's when you think you have some awesome exclusive post,otherwise they will find it boring)

B for blogger beta is a dream come true for me,well it is a blog about blogging(on blogger).I have been blogging for quite a while now at techno-tips and Amazing pics have earned quite a few bucks from blogging.at start me too was struggling with adsense optimisation and sort but soon i got used to it,all the post' will be from my experience in the indian blogosphere.
